What a fun indoor playground! The staff was really nice. It was really busy every time we went, so just a heads up. My child is only 15 months so 1 hr was plenty for us and cost $15 (one parent free with child entrance fee; $55 for a month membership). You do have to have slip resistance socks that they sell for $3 each. It is a little overstimulating, from all the bright/flashy lights, sounds, and colors, but was a great way for my child to burn her mid afternoon energy when it was raining. She had so much fun my husband took her back when it was super hot outside too. They have a toddler section and a climbing area that has slides and bridges. My child preferred to climb. The climbing area is parent friendly if you don't mind ducking and climbing through things. Definitely a place we'll use on repeat when the weather is awful. read more

One thing we noticed, though, was that no employees were walking around to check on things. It would make a big difference if staff did regular rounds every 15-20 minutes to keep everything clean and in order. Took my 5 year old son here for an hour. Lots of fun engaging things to entertain him. They have a cool ball pit area with things for kids to climb on and safely land if they fall or lose their balance. The area is well maintained and clean. It cost $15 for an hour of play which was sufficient for him to explore everything. Great way to burn some energy for an active kid. I think this is a great place for small kids and parties. There are prices rated for kids from 14-17 years of age but in my opinion, I don't think teens would find this "enjoyable." At least not for this location, inside a mall. It's bright, lively, and cost is reasonable. There is also a good selection of snacks. If you have young kids, this place is perfect. read more

Come here all the time. Very accomodating for my autistic child. His favorite place. Nice large size and fun for kids. Also I want to give 5 stars to all the parents who visit candeeland. Or are just in the area. Ive had to apologize a few times because my son is autistic and is taking his time following basic playground rules and manners (he's getting there!) and every parent so far have been very understanding. Im sure I'll meet a Karen some day but so far everyone has been great. read more

We went to riverside location before the Temecula one open. The riverside location feels really big and that's what we were used to. The Temecula locations feels a little closed in and small. Love the color and theme of this play place. The play structure is brilliantly designed and my kid could spend all day here, so we pay for the all day pass. We are in town to spend time with family but found a moment to get our little kiddos some time to play and burn some energy. Candeeland is located on the bottom floor of the Promenade Mall (near the Macy's). The play area consists of 2 zones; one for the under 4 and the other for the older kids. We started in the under 4 area and found a fun ball pit with air tubes to suck up the balls. It also has an interactive screen to toss balls at "bad guys" and a small slide. There is also a matching interactive TV screen, a pedal bike merry-go-round, a candy swing merry-go-round and an area to jump and add lights. Then we went to the big kids area which was large and had all kinds of mazes/obstacle courses. They have a few large slides and a ball pit with balancing steps and swing rings. There was lots to keep them occupied. Outside the play zone they have some arcade games for younger kids too. They also have a seating to eat and a snack shack area in the back. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean with communal footwear to wear into the bathroom (everyone is in socks in the play areas). Lastly, would really like to commend the staff for their kindness and attentiveness to keep it clean. All employees seemed engaged in keeping the play areas safe and clean. I saw multiple staff members vacuuming when the areas were empty and moving the seating objects around/picking up balls that left the pits. If management is reviewing, you have a great staff that takes good care of the facility! Would recommend to come here for good clean fun! read more

Such a cool place! Super huge once you're inside (adults have to remove their shoes) and a lot to do. One hour goes by quick. Everything is laid out nice and employees were friendly. You sign a virtual waiver first and then pay and then put your shoes away and go inside. I was able to bring my diaper bag inside and purse and go and play with my kids in the playground. Only downside is a little pricey for one hour but still so fun and so many things to do for kids! Would go again. read more

We visited on a Friday morning, and to my surprise, it was quite busy, but we were greeted right away and checked in without any delays. I had a really disappointing experience here about 30 minutes after buying the all day pass. My 5-year-old was playing in the 4-year-old area, and instead of handling the situation with kindness, the manager came across as dismissive and condescending. I explained that we are new here, we aren't from the area and simply asked if there was any flexibility because my son was crying. I was hoping for a little understanding or empathy. the manager told me that " you need to teach your child to stop crying and read the signs. " As a parent, that comment was unnecessary and insensitive. After the manager finished explaining the rule, I began responding that my son was playing quietly by himself and he said, "When I'm talking, you wait until I finish talking to talk." He had already finished speaking when I started my reply, so the comment felt unnecessary and that we couldn't have a simple conversation where i could respond. As a pediatric nurse who works with children and families every day, I understand the importance of policies and safety rules. But I also know those conversations can be handled with empathy and respect. I would never speak to a parent the way I was spoken to. I completely understand that businesses have rules, and I would have had no problem following them if they had been communicated respectfully. He could have showed an alternative space or option to help solve the situation. The issue wasn't the rule, it was the lack of compassion and the way my son and I were treated. A little kindness goes a long way, especially when a child is already upset. It was very unwelcoming so we left and will look for a more friendly alternative space. read more

My kiddos enjoyed this place. I was worried they might be too big but there was a lot more than I could initially see for the bigger kiddos. Prices were decent for 2 hours. The kiddos enjoyed it so that's what matters! Grip socks cost around $3-4, which is a lot better than what Uptown Jungle charges. There is a snack bar towards the back and places to sit. My kids had a wonderful time at Candeeland. We purchased the all day pass which was $40 for two kids ($20 each). The kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave after 3 hours, but mom did. I was told you could re-enter later in the day with the all day pass. I really appreciated how clean everything was. A worker was going around during our visit cleaning everything. I think we have been 3 times total so far and each time someone was cleaning during our visits. Love this as a mom! I also love that there were plenty of staff on to assist and they were all friendly. We will definitely be back. read more

Each child receives a name tag, and parents get a matching tag for security. I love that the gatekeeper checks to ensure every child leaves with the right adult--it's such a great safety measure! My son is newly turned 5 years old, unlike other parents there I was watching over my kid while he plays. We were in the main area until my son said this boy was bullying him over there. He then wanted to go to the toddler area and he was playing nicely in that section until another little boy knocked his tower over then gave him a block just to take it away and scream at him. That same little boy also jumped off the top of the slide and almost hit a little girl multiple times. I didn't see the kids parents anywhere around unless the parents were the adults sitting in the ball pit area throwing balls at the kids also going on the carousel as grown adults. But somehow the workers asked us to leave the area. I just feel like they need to observe and then make the decision if specific kids are allowed or not. There's also a bunch of teenagers in the play area that personally look way too big and were being a little rough but I guess that's personal opinion. read more

Overall the place was fine at first and my son had a good time playing, but the customer service completely changed my experience. I went to buy 5 tokens for the mechanical rides since they were $1 each. Somehow the machine, or I, may have accidentally selected 30 tokens instead, and I was charged $30. I noticed immediately and went straight to the front desk before using them. I even offered to give all the tokens back right then and there because it was clearly an accidental selection. The employee told me there was "nothing they could do" and basically said I must have clicked the wrong option since the 30-token button was right below the 5-token option. I understand mistakes happen, but I was disappointed there was zero attempt to help or refund unused tokens. Accidents happen, especially on quick touch-screen kiosks. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable, so the lack of customer service was really disappointing. read more

It's mostly clean but the only area kids are policed at all is the under 4 area. One of my kids is 5 and her three yr old sister won't stay in an area without her. So off into the "big kid" area they went where she got knocked down three times by bigger kids and the workers wouldn't let my 5 yr old stay with my 3 yr old in the smaller kid area. I get the idea behind the policy but maybe there could be a case by case consideration or at least some more policing in the "big kid" area so that everyone stays safe and has fun. We'll just go to our other play spots from now on read more
