I've been recycling bottle and cans at Brambila Recycling for years. It's a messy business, but they keep the parking lot and trash cans pretty clean and organized. I've been to places that are much worse. There's usually plenty of parking and cans so you don't have to wait around to unload your recyclables. I came to recycle some materials. They demanded face masks and if one didn't have one you would be asked to leave. I understand the rule but the younger person who checks you in and gives you the money wasn't wearing it! How do they expect people to follow it if the employs don't? So I came back with a mask and started putting my items in the containers. I noticed they are mostly all broken in the bottom. Thy should've been replaced awhile ago but don't and cheap the customer. I haven't taken cans in to be recycled since I was a kid. I figured I might as well can them in instead of the people digging through my garbage cans. Brambila recycling made it easy. They have three people working the space which shares a parking lot with a Shell gas station. One persons give you a garbage can for you to dump your cans. A separate guy weighs and pay you. And a third person organized all the accepted cans. Quick and easy process. Thanks Brambila! read more

I just heard about this place to take my aluminum and plastic recyclables. It's located behind the Union 76 gas station. When I pulled up there were several other cars but one of the workers directed me where to park and gave me some plastic cans in which I could dump my recyclables. I don't have time for pride, so I recycle. Who cares? Its almost free money. Instead of throwing it in the garbage for Waste Management to pick through and make money off of, or instead of paying the city to take it away for me so they can make money off it, I'll just squirrel it away in my fancy recycling bin until I have enough to get enough money for pizza and a movie. Even though a quick google search will reveal that this location has been subject to a Call Kurtis investigation, it is super convenient for me and only about a 6 minute drive from home. I am not about to waste gas driving around to scrounge an extra 5 cents a pound for my recyclables. That is silly and would cut into my profit. I find the prices offered here are fair and the bins they use are pretty clean considering what they are used for. The lady that handles the weighing and pay out is friendly enough and she gets it done fast. This is my recycling place out of convenience, and there's nothing wrong with that. I will continue to bring my used beverage containers here and will happily eat my pizza and watch my movie afterwards for years to come. read more

Great place. Fast, simple, and efficient. Including the time used to segregate cans and bottles, I was out of there in about 15 minutes. Also no line at all, although I did go on a weekday. It's safe to assume it's a lot crazier on the weekend. read more

Review is for 5600 Freeport location (Freeport & Fruitridge). HORRIBLE!!! Wish I could leave zero stars. I called to make sure they would be open if I got there right at 5:00pm; they said yes. Arrived at 4:54, they had the doors open, "OPEN" signs up and no customers. They told me they were closed. The gentleman was very rude and decided to talk down to me in his native language. I would not recommend this to anyone. read more

Fast, friendly, and I get my money. It's perfect and they're right down the street from my house. I don't know how anyone can expect workers to be friendly when they're working in triple digit heat, doing heavy lifting and for several hour shifts as cans and bottles crunch and clang around them but these guys were awesome and they even gave us tips for finding the best rates and how their process worked. They are super helpful here everytime I come to recycle. Today even, the man who was working here, helped me get all the bottles and cans out of the bags and into the large pails and did so very efficiently to I might add!! I come here every 2-3 months and it's in a great location at Freeport and Fruitridge in the back of the lot where the 76 gas station is. You get paid cash on the spot and I just can't say enough positive things about this recycling place. Highly recommend coming here. read more

I've come by about 3 times previous to my visit today but ended up leaving the first three times because they were closed the first time and too busy the second two times. I was mostly too lazy to wait in line so that's why I left. Anyway, today when I went at about 2:45pm, it was empty and i was helped right away. There was a man and woman who gave me garbage bins to put my recyclables in. I ended up getting over $10 and i was expecting like 5 so that was a pleasant surprise. The workers were really nice and I highly recommend! I don't go to recycle places very often, but I will be sure to come back here. read more

Brambila is located in the parking of the 76 gas station on the corner of Fruitridge and Freeport. There are about 8 parking spaces and plenty of bins to dump your recyclables. I have been come here for some time. They are very nice. Like today, for instance, the woman who does the payments got stuff out of the way. They brought me extra containers. She saw when I looked as if I was done, and asked if I was finished, and began the transaction. The place was pretty busy. The only thing that held me up was how long it took me to unload my car.
