What a cute adorable store located in the heart of old Okotoks Main Street…read more At first I wasn't sure if I had the correct store. This wonderful friendly lady had a look at my phone location. Yes you are at the correct location the seasoning you are looking for is located in the back. Has quite the selection of local Canadian prepared seasonings in Okotoks. Which seems to be big nowadays, buy local buy Canadian. I bought 4 bags of Lemon Dill seasoning at $12.00 per bag. Which I thought was a good deal for home made spices. You don't have to buy the big bag they do have smaller jars of spices as well. On top the spices they have a verity of drink mixes soup mixes. Freezer of food items as well as a fridge of salsa's, guacamole and other delicious dips. Now this is not all what is being sold in this store there is a good selection of knickknacks. -street parking is all I could see and find and is limited. Unless there is parking in back and you have to walk around to the front to enter, I'm not sure. I will definitely be returning to try out the other food items. This place is well worth the stop in!!

Exciting to be in the shop once again. I really took the time to walk around & enjoy all it has to…read moreoffer. Lots of neat gift & art ideas. Items range from ideas for baby gifts to adult gifts. I also love that they feature so many Alberta products & artists. Found a few items this trip - part of a wedding gift, something for a birthday present & some beautiful local images on postcards (those are for me to enjoy some new wall art). Honestly, if you're looking for a gift, AB souvenir or just a lovely or special gift for yourself, this is the store to pop in. Extra bonus the staff & owner are well versed in the information of the products, sizing (I learned a lot about the blankets!) &/or background of the art. The owner especially knows where the artists are from and neat background stories. Personally, I encourage that kind of chatting energy, as I love to know the stories of how things have come to this point. Accessibility for in the store is easy for the first part of the store. The second part has 4 steps down. Staff are really great & super friendly. So just ask if you need something (or another colour options) in case you want something but physically can't make it that far. Also, no fault to any of the 8 st stores & restaurants, but the town decided that street is a safe walking/biking area (apparently some spring to fall). At first I thought maybe there was a festival they were setting up for. Nope. Just every day in Canmore. I can understand for many of the shop owners how that has impacted the flow of foot traffic. Especially as the accessible parking isn't plentiful or nearby. Not even several avenues/streets over. Sadly parking lots closer by didn't provide much more for handicap, I wouldn't have an issue on manning streets safer for enjoyment & shopping, but if I'm paying for parking as a handicap user & have to still walk a fair distance, you can bet my time is more limited in being in Canmore. For my situation, I strategized how far to walk, how much energy & time I have (including to return to vehicle as I move slower) & I still felt like I really limited myself for any extra shopping & skipped the lines for eating focusing on the few must stop places I had in mind. You would think the town would add extra benches & picnic tables that aren't restaurant run plus ramps (besides the natural sidewalk corner locations) to the street if this was truly to be an accessible & friendly walking area. This sadly was not is the case. So long story short, if you're struggling with energy, start at the top of the street by Alberta's Own & maybe if you've got someone that can park further down the opposite side streets/avenues, you can walk one direction to your vehicle without worrying too much about your energy. Lastly, a cuteness heads up... there are two wonderful little dogs as store mascots that will seek all attention & love! They're not fully out all the time but will make their presence known once they are.

This is not a place for your regular run of the mill t-shirts or trinkets. This is a place with truly creative pieces, art, and unique ways to remember a trip to this area if you're visiting. It's super well kept, nothing was cheap but also not overpriced and the owner Laura was someone who is just so in tune with people. My wife and I are so glad we stopped and left with a bunch of things. Added bonus- her two tiny Australian Shepherds that follow her around

They are ice skates that have been customized and turned into roller skates. In great condition and were fairly priced. I've only ever seen leather white or black vintage skates but these are suede and red! I've been looking for a pair for months and this is the first pair I have ever found and I lucked out by them being my size! I've already took them out for a spin and they're perfect, just need to switch the indoor wheels for outdoor wheels and I'm all set! They had a wide variety of booths with everything you could ever imagine including a booth full of video games and my personal favourite Pyrex! Definitely worth the drive from Calgary and will be stopping here more in the future! The staff was super friendly and kind!

There is no way you would not find what you need in this place, that's for sure. But for me there are simply way too many scarved wooden figurines in this place. So CCI located at the Heritage Hill Shopping Centre.

I bought valences at this shop. They were matching, but sold in two different packages. When I took them out, the lengths were not the same. I tried to return them and the clerk simply said, "That's how they are." She refused to refund my $. She did offer a 10% discount on my next purchase. Needless to say, I now have two very expensive valences that I can't use. Recently, I went to purchase candles, only to discover that they have increased $5.00 in price since my last purchase in the summer. They are charging $18.95 for a small scented candle. Absolutely ridiculous! As well, the clerks stand behind the counter and act as if you are interfering with their personal agendas if you ask for assistance. I have decided that I simply will not shop here any longer. You'd be better to make the drive to Okotoks to a shop called FINISHING TOUCHES. I certainly intend to make the drive to where the pricing and service is reasonable and respectable. There is less selection at FINISHING TOUCHES, but the service is outstanding.

Everything was so nice, in fact, I felt like I didn't belong. After spending a couple minutes in the store Iknew everything was way too expensive for me, but I couldn't stop looking around. It was all such intriguing merchandise that I spent way more time than necessary looking around at everything. They've got such a unique selection of products in the store like old grandfather clocks, authentic bird cages, and even old school snow shoes. They've got some paintings for sale, most depicting an older, western scene. You can buy couches, beds, dressers, tables, chairs, blankets, pretty much anything you can think of. You have to special order everything, but you get to pick your stain colour and fabrics as well. I think it's cool that you can kind of custom make your own furniture. The lady working there (perhaps the owner?) was really friendly and eager to offer a hand or answer any questions. She directed me to their website, saying that all their products were online. The funny thing is, you can't order anything from the website, only view what they have. It's a high-priced store, but the goods are all so beautiful! I enjoyed just browsing around at all the neat and interesting things they had in this store. It was really neat!

It had nothing to do with the "fluffing of the couch" as I do this regularly. Anyways, I ended up having to go into this store and threatening to go to the better business bureau after the owner argued with me in front of my 3 small children about the defective and junk product they sold me as they were refusing to just send me a new cover and fix it. The customer service at this store is the worst I have ever experienced. In the end after dealing with the back and forth for months, I did get a new cover but it is still not fitting properly and I have never heard back from the store. They sent a third party to install the new fabric and then never bothered to follow up. Horrible customer service and junk product.
