I received a call back from Chris ( the owner) less than 10 minutes later! The estimator came out and did a quote to demo all my flooring, install new tile , carpeting and baseboards, with absolutely no pressure! And they do it ALL! And the craftsmanship of each employee that worked on my home was second to none. They took pride in their trade and the company they work for, and my home is a reflection of that pride! I needed carpet for stairs and a second floor. Brandi had great selections to choose from and the owner Chris, was knowledgeable and very personable. I initially had great expectations for this business and it's employees but from the day of the install to present I could not have been more wrong. Chris' installer texted me a day before the job saying what time he would be there. The day of the install they were 30 minutes late, brushed that off and let the four guys do their job. Crew texted me later that day saying they had finished a job slated for two days in one day and I needed to come back to lock up. My wife went to the home and was in shock. Carpet was dirty and smeared with leaves and debris drug in from outside, baseboards were scuffed and cut into, and there were dirty hand prints on several walls and doors. I contacted Chris directly and sent him photographs of the damages. Chris called me back and apologized saying his main installer forgot his booties and after smearing the carpet tried to clean it but just made it worse. Chris said he would send a neighbor friend with a carpet cleaning business to fix the stains. Later that week his friend came over as promised and got the dark stains out of the carpet and came over himself to look at the other damages. Once at my house Chris began to downplay how much damage needed to be fixed. It should be noted the baseboards were installed by another employee of Chris and painted by professional painters approximately one month prior to carpet install. When I mentioned to Chris if there would be a discount for the dirty carpet and my inconvenience he stated, "I'm not going to throw away a whole carpet job cause of a dirty carpet. If I wasn't here trying to make it right we would be in court". Chris was clearly flustered that I had even asked for a discount and left my home in a huff. Chris then sent over the installer of the baseboards to fix what the carpet installer had damaged. Come to find out, according to Chris, at least one member of the carpet crew was not an employee of Brandi carpet and allowed in my home to help the lead installer. Chris had told me that the baseboards would be fixed on a Tuesday, one week after the original install. On Tuesday in the morning Chris called me saying he had to cancel and reschedule me for another day after I had already took the day off to be there. The baseboards installer came the following day and as soon as he saw what needed to be repaired he said Chris did not tell him how much needed to be repaired and only scheduled him for a half day when the job needed a full day. The installer explained to me he needed to pick up his dog from the vet before they closed and was visibly stressed while working. The installer was a good guy and frankly the only one who did a good job on my home. I told him to finish what he could and I would hire him again to finish the rest of the baseboards. One week after that I get a text message from Chris with a hyperlink to pay the remaining balance. I was surprised to see the invoice was for the entire job and only $100 taken off for my "inconvenience" . I asked Chris if he felt it was right to have me pay practically the full balance for a job that was done sloppy and unsatisfactory. Chris said, "I applied a discount it's on the invoice on the bottom, apparently you missed that". At this point I paid the balance but not because I believed they had earned the remaining balance but because I needed to be done with Chris and Brandi Carpet. Chris is a bully and set in his ways, you can't change people like that. He believes that "making it right" means sending his buddies over to fix a job that should have been done right the first time. What's sad is all that needed to be done was the carpet and now my house was left in worse condition than before the carpet guys came. If you decide to use Brandi Carpet after reading this I hope the job is done right the first time because as much Chris acts like your friend in the beginning, if you have a legitimate complaint he will turn on you. read more

I recently purchased from one of the "As advertised on TV" and found out the hard way that we over paid and are experiencing an ongoing battle to get resolution on problems resolved. I could not get even the simplest questions answered. That is where Brandi carpets comes into the story. I happened upon their store quite by chance and it changed my opinion of flooring people. They have assisted me with information over several trips and educated me in flooring and there was no incentive for them to do that other than they believe in treating others the way the would want to be treated. A very rare trait now days. During my visits I witnessed other potential customers in their store and they extended the same courtesy, honesty and knowledge so that they could make an informed decision on flooring. There is probably not enough space to detail our horrible experience. I've waited almost a year to leave a review because I wanted time to pass so I could calm down and gather my thoughts. I almost decided not to leave a review in fear of what the owner may do in retaliation but one needs to be left. We visited Brandi Carpet at the end of May 2020 after our upstairs had a flood. After going to multiple other flooring companies we chose to go with Chris and Brandi carpet as he said he was having ZERO issues getting products like other companies kept telling us. (We were in middle of a pandemic) after asking Chris multiple times he assured us it would be no problem. We picked out our flooring, scheduled install date and paid our deposit promptly. Fast forward to a few days before the scheduled install date. Chris contacts us to let us know he would need to push us out a week or two as the product had not arrived yet. I was annoyed but also knew it was something he could not control. Even though he told us over and over that there would Be no issues getting the material. As annoyed as I was I said ok. We scheduled again for the only week we had available before summer travels. .We were told the installer would be at our house around 7:30am. My husband took the day off work. Around 10am he finally shows up. Starts to unload and let's us know he has the floor material but the wood for our stairs was not ready. First off, why are we first heating this the day of the install??? Why was material not confirmed days before?? The installer knew how upset we were and called his boss who then called us with nothing but excuses. The installer stood around And waited then told us he would be back because he didn't have any of his tools with him to get started. Who comes to install flooring with no tools??? He leaves and finally shows back up around 12:30pm. Talks again for 30 minutes then finally gets started. Tells us he will be done by Wednesday. I'm already so upset and just want him to get to work. Half a day was completely wasted. To make a long story short the job dragged on until that Friday and we still had no ETA on when our wood for the stairs would arrive. Fast forward a few weeks abs that finally shows up. Same installer shows up and again does not have all the tools and stuff he needs so he leaves and comes back . Works for about an hour, hurts himself and leaves to go to urgent care. Returns again later that afternoon and apologizes and says he will work until whenever he has to to get the job done as he knew how angry we were abs just wanted it done. Well, he calls it a day at 4:30. Day 2 of stair installation we had some gals that my husband said were unacceptable. Calls Chris the owner who then comes to my house with nothing but an attitude. No apologies for what a mess this has been. Was rude and pompous and speaking down to me. I'm sure there is a lot I left out but if I can remember this all a year later it was for sure an awful experience that I could never forget. In the end all we wanted was an apology and then to make this bad situation right which was never done. Chris treated us horribly and has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He will tell you everything you want to here to get your business then after that he does not give a crap about how he treats his customers. I recommend staying far away from this place. read more

There was carpet in my home that was over 10 years old and had lots of pet stains and wear. I spoke with a number of carpet companies and even had Brandi Carpet come out and measure my home a year ago....Justin was the sales person and did a great job at the time! I put the job on hold for a year because I was still undecided and the job seemed overwhelming. I finally made the decision to go for it and met with Justin and Chris (owner). Both were very helpful in helping me pick out a good quality and reasonable carpet. I finally decided on carpet and had it installed over the last 3 days. The price was very fair. Chris was able to get me an upgraded carpet for just a little more than what I originally was going to pay. He gave me an Angie's List discount, which included an upgraded pad, and got the manufacturer to additionally discount the carpet. The installation crew was great! Steve, Nick and Brice were awesome!! They efficiently removed the old carpet and did a fantastic job installing the new carpet. Steve, the man in charge, was very personable and answered all my questions. His team really prides itself on quality work. He even recarpeted a dog ramp for our dog at the end of the job! Where to start? I went to a big box store because they advertised Free Installation! Free Stairs! Free! Free! Free! Got the quote back and it was over $11,000. (We have a big house). Feeling slightly defeated, I went into Brandi Carpet. Chris was amazing. He *really* knows his carpet. I picked out one I liked and he scheduled the measurement. Just as Chris thought, the big box over-measured by 30 square yards, which added up to about $1k before taxes. Got an estimate back from Chris that was more than $3,000 less. We were carpeting a living room only and he helped me understand the differences between Nylon and Polyester carpet for what I needed and the quality of the pad vs thickness. We had a friend install that does flooring and he said both were very good quality. The price and warranty is better then Home Depot too. When I originally went there they said we have free install.
