During the process of remodeling my house, I searched for tile for a kitchen backsplash, bathroom tub and shower surrounds, and flooring. The store I found that was superior to all the tile stores I visited was The Tile Shop on W. Bell Road in Peoria. I found their selection of tile to be truly outstanding. Not only did they have a wide selection, they also had unique tiles that I found no where else. Additionally, Jared Beacham, a Senior Design Associate, was extremely helpful to me each time I visited the store. When I needed a special grout for the bathroom surrounds, he searched diligently until he found it for me. Jerad is very experienced and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend him and The Tile Shop. read more

We went to the Tile shop and worked with Jared Beacham; he was great! We ordered some tile, took it home and it didn't quite match the existing backsplash, so we returned it. Jared made the process super easy. We bought a different color, which matched perfectly. We ended up with more tile than we needed, so Jared was happy to return the unused tile without a problem. I've been an installer over 20 years and this is the worst place I've ever dealt with. Colors on tiles never match. They never tell you about different dilots. They just sell you whatever. Sales associates know basically nothing and are terrible at customer service. Jared literally told me to never come back when I voiced my concerns. I will NEVER send a client here. We cannot say enough about this store and it's staff. Our tile shopping started while still living in Buffalo at The Tile Shop there and we had it shipped to our new home in Sun City West. We did not like our tile selection once we got here and wanted to change it. So we walked in to The Tile Shop on Bell Rd in Glendale to see what we could do. Mike was the salesperson who first assisted us and we knew immediately we were in good hands. His knowledge and enthusiasm was such a relief. He helped us with honest opinions and guidance in selecting new tile. There was absolutely no problem returning the unwanted tile and everything went VERY smoothly. We have since needed other tile for our home remodeling projects and EVERY TIME had excellent service. All of the staff have been helpful and pleasant but Mike has been our main guy, always helpful and dependable. I strongly suggest that you give them a try. read more

I found the store through yelp and had seen it a few times on my way to best buy and the dollar store. I decided to stop by and check it out. I was greeted as I went into the store by John, who helped me through the entire process. He was helpful, curtious, professional, and friendly. Price compared to the big box stores: some lower/some higher. Different selections. I feel that I got a good deal and that I am grateful that my shopping for tile, etc was completed. I entered The Tile Shop and walked around for approximately 30 minutes and not one person asked me if I needed any assistance. As I continued to shop I passed by the sales personnel and still no one greeted me, looked at me or acknowledged that I had even entered the building. We recently purchased a home with travertine floors and limestone kitchen counters. We have been in a few times, asking for assistance on maintenance and care. Recently, we stopped in as we had a small piece of our counter top fall off -- it had apparently been grouted before, and we needed help in how to fix it. We originally spoke with a salesman who, after a few minutes, was obvious he had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. When we continued to ask questions, he got flustered and went in back to get his manager. Her name was Sara Taylor and she told us what to get, it would be permanent, it would solve the issue. The item was a bit pricey so we left, thinking we might be able to find it a bit cheaper. This was about 10 days ago and today, after we couldn't find what we felt was comparable, my husband stopped by today to pick up the product she said would work. He ended up speaking with another salesman -- who we learned had over 30 years of installation experience with tile -- who said no, that product won't work, it won't be permanent, it will cause more issues -- this is what you need. This wasn't an issue of a different brand, etc -- it was a totally different product and application type! Sara had been quite clear on our previous trip that the other product would work. No hesitation. While speaking with the experienced salesman today, Sara walked by -- and my husband called her on her previous recommendation and how he's now learning it isn't the proper product at all. "Oh yeah, I must have made a mistake, that won't work." I'm sorry -- but don't give out bad advice if you don't know what in the heck you're talking about. read more

First impressions are important to me. I'm a woman pushing 40, but my small stature often leads people to think I'm about 20 years younger than I am, so it leads me to believe that I'm not taken seriously when it comes to a major purchase. I walked in and Joshua said "Hello" as I entered the store, but immediately went to the man who was walking in behind me and asked him if he had been helped. I was a little put off. I proceeded to walk around the store a bit and after roughly 20 minutes of being ignored by the two gentlemen at their computers, I started to leave and passed Joshua again. He finally asked me if I had been helped. He asked about my project (I'm planning on tiling my back patio) and was very polite and engaging, and informative. He gave me his card and even asked if it was ok for him to take a call from another customer who was calling, which was fine by me. He made sure not to leave me hanging and that all of my questions were answered prior to me leaving. Joshua gets four stars, the other two gentlemen get zero. I might be back, but only bc of Joshua's eventual help. My husband may be performing the work, but I'm doing the tile shopping. Please take female shoppers more seriously. read more

Okay, I was happy to see the tile shoppe open a location on the west side. We have remodeled our home with floor and wall tile from the Scottsdale location where Pam was our salesperson and was amazing to work with. Their prices are a little on the high side but I have always been able to find just what I wanted and the look I was going for. Walking into this location with my wife it was as if we heard crickets chirping...it took awhile to find someone to assist us but we found Lucy and she helped to turn around this most likely crash and burn review. She was pleasant and friendly and helped us pick out the perfect tile for the area we were redoing. I hope to eventually see this location step up its game on the customer service, Lucy was friendly and helpful however she seemed to be brand new to customer service and there was noone else in sight to even ask for help if we wanted to. read more

Great experience! Love the service from Mark Hohn. He is professional and full of great information. I had been to several other tile stores and looked at tile but no one ever approached me to see if I had questions or needed help. Mark greeted me as soon as I walked in. Told him what my project was and made suggestions. Answered my questions and even told me things I would not have thought of to ask. He took awesome care of me and my project turned out beautifully. Some people may think the tile is over priced (based on reviews I've seen on here) but I think the service that you receive and the higher quality tile is worth it. I do agree with some of the comments about the other staff members being lazy or unprofessional is true. If you deal directly with Mark you will get exceptional service. read more

Great experience, I had been all over town looking for tile for two bathrooms and was quite frustrated with the process. I went to The Tile Shop to find the last bit of tile I needed and the sales person, Mark Hohn greeted me right away. I told him the colors I was interested in and he put together everything for me.
