I ordered the pork tacos from the lunch menu at 9:30am which was a pleasant surprise. Brandon is known for these tacos and they definitely should be! I also ordered a breakfast plate with eggs, toast, and bacon. Everything was great and I even got an IPA despite my early dining experience. My husband and I went here for breakfast on the first day of our honeymoon. I was exhausted from the wedding and the travel so I looked forward to a relaxed meal with great food. We were there early so had the place to ourselves. The restaurant had a cool vibe and had lots to look at. When it came to food, we ordered the waffle with the dulce de Leche. The waffle was really good but it came out cold as did the Dulce de Leche syrup. We also ordered coffee, I didn't love my latte but husband like his black coffee. I will say, we got a lot of food for good price. In the end, it was kind of tough to get our check because the staff was eating together while we were there. Our group of 4 stopped in for late night drinks and we ended up being deeply impressed! This is certainly an upscale feeling restaurant and we happened to be there during their anniversary. The menu looked excellent and 3 of us ordered the street tacos which turned out to be nearly life changing! I've never had such delicious, tender, juicy pulled pork tacos! I would absolutely 100% recommend ordering them and they come as 4 small tacos. I had a negroni which was very delicious and everyone else in the group thoroughly enjoyed their drinks. Among the drinks was an Aperol Spritz and I honestly can't remember the name of the other 2. Made a reservation for Saturday night at 8pm, it was getting full but still far from it. We dined upstairs which is great for people gazing. By the time that we left it was packed. Gorgeous interior, high ceilings, beautiful mix of tile and wood. Sleek and modern. The food was just okay, I had a quinoa salad that tasted like Chinese stir fry (guessing that they used a lot of soy sauce) and the husb had a falafel burger that was impressively dry and boring. I think the thing that stroke me the most was the love with which the bartender mixed his drinks. We stumbled upon the place very randomly on our way back from a dinner and decided to have a drink. The drink menu was very creative and extensive and it took us a while to settle on just one. We then watched bartender working on the drinks with such passion and dedication as if it was his only chance to win a top barman of the year award! Everything that hit the glass was home made, squeezed or infused, coming from myriad of bottles next to us. A first sip proved that all this effort paid off - amazing, flavorful and unique. It was so good, we stayed for two more rounds! We also noticed how pleasant and welcoming the staff was, so we came back the next day for brunch. And the next day. And one more time after that. Searched high and low in bars throughout Buenos Aires, and this was the only place we found that had my dad's signature cocktail: Maker's Mark with an orange slice. Coincidentally, they also happened to have my favorite cocktail, which is also hard to come by in general but especially in Buenos Aires. Can you guess what it is? Ill give you a hint: it starts with "bloody" and ends with "Mary." This is also one of the coolest-looking bars I've ever seen, so there's that. Our new favorite restaurant of all time, in any city. We went embarrassingly frequently (5 times) while in BsAs for two weeks, but also...we don't regret it at all. Shout out to Ramiro who served us all but once! Highlights: fresh, delicious ingredients in everything. Tons of options from breakfast, to merienda, to lunch and dinner, and dessert! We went at all times of the day and are going to miss the food. We loved the ambiance, too: industrial chic, and there's a terraza outside upstairs. Favorites: skillet brownie with pistachio ice cream (omg), instagram-worthy brunch donuts warm out of the oven (and I don't even like donuts), mango lassi, Brandon licuado (coconut milk, banana and organic sugar), pulled pork tacos app, a grilled veggie salad, ribs, sweet potato fries with cilantro, and lamb. Oh, and it sounds silly, but I am now an addict to their cucumber basil water - so refreshing! The prices are totally fair - amazing compared to what we would pay in Boston, and a bit lower than other similar restaurants in the area (ex. Mooi). We always had left overs, so the portions will likely keep you happy! Other plusses: great service, and cleanest bathrooms we saw in BsAs. Don't miss out!
