Brandon recently did my professional headshots, and he did an amazing job. They are natural and artistic, and really stand out in a world of stiff, uncomfortable business headshots. Brandon Jones is nothing short of a magician with his photography! When we first met with him to discuss what we wanted, he was so relaxed and open to hearing our thoughts that it instantly made us feel at ease. Initially, my wife was nervous about choosing a wedding photographer because she wasn't a fan of how posed and unnatural pictures can look at times, and she is not a fan of having to "act" while having her picture taken. Needless to say, all of these concerns melted away after she took her bridal portraits with Brandon. She came from that session and gushed about how professional Brandon was while helping keep her so relaxed. During the day of the wedding, Brandon took all the photos we wanted and seemed to just disappear into the background, always being in the right place at the right time, but never being in the way. He kept everything moving along seamlessly during group pictures, but he was also flexible and relaxed the entire time, helping to bring a calm to what could have been a stressful time. He sent us a preview of our pictures so quickly (only ten days after the wedding), and was amazing throughout the process! When we looked through our photos, we were blown away by Brandon's artistic talent. He captured our wedding in a natural and timeless way, and his hard work provided us with a way to look back on that day as if we were there. If you are looking for a photographer to just take pictures at your wedding then Mr. Jones is your man. However if you looking for someone to capture those special moments, pay attention ANY details and help pose people so that you can get the best pictures possible then keep looking. We hired Mr. Jones to shoot our daughter's wedding, we got a lot of pictures of nothing and very, very few special moments. The entire ceremony was shot from the back of the chapel. There was not ONE close up picture of the bride or groom. When her father gave her away the pictures were taken from a side view so you see the profile of the bride, you can't see the father of bride or any expressions on anyones face. He never took any measures to adjust for the lighting in the chapel so there are NO (NOT EVEN ONE ) picture that shows the details of her dress. We have lots of pictures of things like the sign in front of the chapel, bows on the pews, the shoes the bride wore, the dress hanging on a hanger and the popcorn bins at the reception but not ONE of the expression on either of their faces when they exchanged vows, when the groom first saw the bride or her father giving her away! There were lots of pictures over 30 taken of the guys getting ready. There were only a few ,not more then 6-7 very random pictures of the girls before the ceremony and NOT ONE of the mother of the bride and the bride before the ceremony. We do however have pictures of the bottom of her dress and the petticoat under the dress. The "posed"pictures after the ceremony were taken so fast that no time was taken to adjust anything nor was any attention paid to the little details of peoples clothes sitting the right way or if someone was a little to far away or to close to the person next to them or if flowers were being held to high or if a hand needed to be adjusted. Any close up pictures taken at this time has the top of the groom's head cut off. Pictures of the bridal party are taken so far away that half the pictures have a bunch of open space above the people. Lots of pictures with closed eyes too ! The reception pictures only got better ! There is NOT ONE picture of the bride and groom, father and bride or mother and groom dancing that has them both facing the camera . ALL of them have the back of one of their heads. AGAIN ABSOLUTELY NO ATTENTION to details. He didn't take the time to ask them to both look at the camera. I could go on but I think I have made my point. So again if you are looking for someone to just come and take pictures then this is the person but if you are wanting someone to capture those special moments, pay attention to details and make your day as special as it is then this IS NOT the person you want. We could not be any more disappointed and heartbroken in the pictures we received. read more
