When they pulled my car out they told me I needed an inspection (true) but that I would not pass it without new breaks (false). I took the car to Hendricks for an oil change and they said the breaks were fine for now but could be replaced when I do the next oil change in 6,000 miles. I'm a 70 year old woman. I feel more sad than angry about this experience. I'm pleased I have Hendrick to work on my car because my car dealer also pulled a similar trick with my last car. I called Bearsville Garage and heard the voice of someone who instantly put me at ease. After sending a video of the horrific scraping sound taken the night before, I was told to come in, and they would take a look at the problem and, if need be, order the part and hopefully have it done by day's end! We drove to Bearsville Garage, where we were greeted by the owner, Joe, who was knowledgeable, experienced, and Kind.
