Yesterday was my third visit to Mavis Discount Tire. I can unequivocally state that the service I received met my expectations if not exceeded them. I rely on trained observers to report issues that need to be dealt with before there is a problem. Brake sensors changed, power steering fluid swapped out, radiator sensor issue diagnosed. All accomplished within three hours, at a reasonable price, by an extremely courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable team. I can honestly recommend this vendor to Yelp and non-Yelp alike and without hesitation.

He gave her a hard time for not staying in line in her car, guess sitting in a car for 2.5 hours wasn't acceptable to him. I myself am a double amputee and had a hard time sitting in the same position for that length of time. Yes signs are clearly posted to stay in your car....I get it. But 2.5 hours is unacceptable. Kid needs to spend less time on his phone and pay more attention to the customers. He should be apologizing and not scolding, specifically the elderly.

I found this location to have pretty spot on mechanics and service advisors. I was able to get the work done in a reasonable time maybe an hour or an hour and a half. I went in the next day with my 2014 GMC truck to get the brakes flushed. When they attempted to do so encountered understandably a rusty bleeder valves on all four brake calipers. Instead of trying to take them off and possibly stripping or breaking them they did the smart move and Told me that the leaders were stripping because of the rust and rather than damage or break them they asked me what I wanted to do. Of course, I said that I have somebody that has more expertise with that issue(stubborn and rusty parts that need to come off ) and likely will have to torch some heat on them to get them off. I was very glad that they had the cognizance to stop and ask me first and I was very grateful for them doing so. Needless to say they did not charge me and I did manage to get the four brake bleeder screws replaced at another mechanic that I deal with exclusively for these issues. I will be back to visit this location to get service, as I feel very comfortable in doing so at the present time. Well done team!

They tried charging my friend over $100 for labor when the company website clearly states that replacement parts AND LABOR are free for warranty service. We were shopping in the area that day and checked with Walmart Auto Center first but they said they were booked until the following week. I called Mavis and was informed that they could take care of us now if we stopped in so we did. Anthony, the service manager was friendly and explained everything that was included with the pricing (road hazard, rotation etc.). This is an auto shop so nothing super fancy, the waiting room can use an upgrade but surprisingly the bathroom was in decent shape. I believe the four tires came to just about $460. Some have had vending machines. Nope Some have had TV sets to entertain you. Nope Some places can schedule your oil change with an appointment (not here). Now maybe you perceive all of those facts as a negative, and if you do you will probably be surprised by exactly how much I loved my experience here today. Where do I start? How about with John - the ultra-friendly and polite owner who will treat you respectfully and must have a PhD in Customer Service. This guy was amazing. How about the music system -I heard one great Beatle song after another while I waited for my oil change. But best of all, how about Olive, the House Labradoodle who will hang out with you in the waiting area and will melt your heart away. She would make one helluva stupendous therapy dog, For all of these reasons (and the very fair price) I will look you straight in the eye and tell you this was one of the best and most enjoyable oil changes I have ever experienced.
