After reading some of the reviews, I decided to book the Indulgence Package for my visit to Maui. Booking was really easy and Edgar is extremely responsive. He accepts multiple forms of payment, which is also appreciated. He brings everything to u, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to book, plus his very reasonable pricing!! He sanitizes everything and was very conscientious about cleanliness, which I loved! He uses a cushion atop his massage table to ensure comfort, has essential oils to choose from to enhance the experience, and played spa music during my session. The massage oil was nice, as well...for those that care! Didn't leave me feeling like a greasy, fried chicken afterwards, lol. I enjoyed the hand/foot scrub and face massage and overall experience! One of the better massages I've ever had! He explained what he would do beforehand, asked if I had any problem areas needing extra attention and really communicated well. I even took a few days to see how I felt after the deep tissue massage & I had no pain, not like the usual sore/ bruised feeling I normally have after a deep tissue massage. It's more of a loosened, opened up type of feeling. My muscles usually retract and go back into tight mode, not after this it didn't. Hubby and I are in the middle of remodeling a house and we are stiff, sore and physically aching. Time for a massage to melt the pain away and leave us relaxed. We didn't want an expensive "spa experience", but we didn't want a cheap Thai massage in public in a shared space either. Edgar offered something completely different and very appealing. You can relax in the comfort and privacy of your own home, yet still have the hot towels, the scrub, the soothing music and the essential oils that the expensive spas provide, along with an AMAZING massage. It was easy to book, Edgar arrived on time, ready with his fold out memory foam table, clean sheets, and firm hands ready to soothe our troubles away. We picked the Serenity Indulgence package and it was blissful.....sooooooo relaxing. Edgar includes a couple of areas some masseuses avoid -the glutes and under your arm close to your ribs, both of which needed attention. Especially my glutes as I have disc problems with stenosis and my muscles are always tight in that area. Not after 75 mins with Edgar though! The best bit was that it is easy to swipe your credit card on Edgar's phone as you collapse on your sofa and you are done! No driving home or making yourself publicly presentable when your hair is standing up on one side and you were semi asleep and drooling during your AMAZING massage...lol. Incredible massage from Edgar! He is very responsive, professional and kind! I found him late night sat on yelp around 10pm, texted for any openings and he set me up for 1pm on sunday! He texted his arrival time and easily found our condo in Honua Kai! He brought all his equipment, including clean linens (darker color ones for women to feel more comfortably concealed), aromatherapy essential oils, table+memory foam, and a crockpot to warm up towels for your neck and to wash off feet and hands at the end! He even had music to play and help me get relaxed! He washed his hands and arms before the massage, and explained he has clean linens for each client. Edgar had amazing techniques, was able to soften knots in my back and shoulders without causing pain, and found problem areas I didn't even know I had! He had excellent pressure maintained through the entire 90min, very strong capable hands. I especially love the lavender on my towel he put on the face cradle and also the scalp massage! After, he also cleaned/sanitized the area. I was able to pay & tip via venmo which was also convenient! HIGHLY recommend Edgar, save his # for when you are in Maui! For 30 yrs I've suffered with neurological pain and migraines. Weekly massage therapy is a necessity for me. Edgar is now on my top 2 list. By far the best massage I have every received and I have had monthly massage treatments for over 10 years. I loved having the massage at our condo. Edgar was very professional and kind. What a great find!! I hurt my back the first night in Maui and suffered for 4 days before finding Edgar (I know, crazy!). Process was very easy...I checked his website and noticed he had some time available (on a Sunday no less). Texted him (as instructed) and he got back to me as soon as he finished his previous client. He came to our condo, equipped with everything I would get at a spa...hot towels, warm massage oil and a comfy massage bed. Edgar has the touch! I booked two one hour massages for me and my husband. All the traveling, plane rides, walking, driving and surf lessons left us pretty sore and our muscles tight.
