The boat couldn't even pull a skiier out of the water, our skiier got injured as a direct result of the "ski" boat (it's not a ski boat, it's a pleasure boat) and skis so old, out of date and damaged (rubber boots ripped) it ruined the day. They also charge more than Shasta. The trim tabs in the cockpit don't operate, you have to do it manually by pressing a button on the engine, and that's only to trim up, you can't trim down. This was an absolute joke, who is going to hang their head over the stern of a speeding boat, reach down near the prop and trim it while you're operating? Their legal exposure is pretty high from our experience. 300 hp Ski Nautique beautiful boat we rented in Shasta: 390 for the whole day. Comes with skis. This garbage place run by teenagers who don't know anything about boats, equipment, or even how to issue a refund to a credit card: we paid $500 for a half day (tax, gas, tube rental, ski rental) The only high point was Rich.. seems like a nice guy, but that hardly compensates for an injury and

The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful while we were there. When we went to dock they were very rushed and unhelpful with us unloading. My wife had to tell them to back off because they almost knocked my 3yr old daughter into the lake. I also witnessed the cashier intentionally hanging up on people calling the marina rather than answering the phone. Now I know what had happened to me weeks earlier when the phone would ring then hang up before it would go to voicemail. The one good thing was the boat we rented was new and clean.

She wasn't pushy at all and didn't upsell me anything - just gave me all the tips and info. We decided on a tandem snowmobile for an hour with a guide. We arrived 20 minutes late but she was so professional - she shortened and made the check in process so easy. There was a cabin with fire where you can change since Deer Mountain was quite cold and was snowing that day desolate the snow drought. She was mega attentive and taught us everything and told us exactly where we were going. She took couple of pictures for us and explained what we'll see had it not been so foggy. On the way back when we stopped at a viewpoint my boyfriend accidentally accelerated and we toppled right where the cliff started - Michele rushed over and helped us up and we genuinely concerned for our well being. We're so grateful she was our guide and can't recommend her enough. She's an amazing person with a beautiful smile and we definitely suggest everyone go snowmobile with her, especially first timers!

It was scenic, there's lots of different lakes that dot the area. It's really pretty. People come here for boating, swimming, and hiking up to the waterfalls. We find it best to call to inquire/reserve rather than using the website. It was 111 degrees when we arrived, the heat slowly dissipated as the days wore on, but the AC kept us cool, even in the two loft bedrooms. The only mechanical issue we encountered was the lake water pressure, but the techs easily fixed it. The marina store had snack items (mainly ice cream treats for us) at fair prices. Our boat was fully equipped with an array of cookware and entertaining pieces, Pottery Barn dishes and quality kitchen gadgets-- even a Pampered Chef garlic press. Our hot tub was clean and fully functional. The staff was professional- Every one of them that we interacted with. I highly recommend this company!

My family and I have been renting jet skis around the globe for years, and not once did anyone perform a post-use inspection. I have no problem with them performing a post-use inspection, but if you are going to do that, you need to also do a pre-use inspection in front of us. We were on the lake, away from debris and the shore, yet she said the jet ski sucked up something and was damaged. We were charged an additional fee for parts and labor for repairs. The thing is, if you didn't perform a pre-use inspection in front of the customer, how do we know this isn't previous damage? Do they do this to all unsuspecting customers? Who knows. Lesson learned for next time.

We managed to ride it back to the rental company before they closed and swap it out! They had no problems swapping it out...obviously they knew it had issues! They told us...oh it might be the pump, I'll have my husband look at it, maybe you picked up rocks??? Or maybe NOT! This isn't our first time...we're out on the lake every Labor Day! A week and a half later my credit card it charged over $800 for the repair! I've got no description of work preformed or service done. When my sister called to see what the deal was, she was like oh ya, I picked up the parts today and my husbands going to fix it...save you guys some money ! Really!!!! Then I called and she was unwilling to speak to me and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I guess I'll see you in small claims court! Not only that...bad yelp reviews are going to cost you a lot more! Upon returning to the marina they fill the gas tank and make you pay a prepaid $250 and return what wasn't used. They charge $7 a gallon and without telling you on the website, in your agreement or to your face at check in. We sat with three different individuals and not one of them told us at the end there would be an additional $250. The jetski ran great but EXTREMELY over priced and disappointed by the lack of communication or warning.

Super great place to visit, especially in the summer when it's hot. You park in the lot at the…read moretrailhead and it's a short walk down to the Falls. The Falls are located at the end of the trail, and from there it's a very short clamber down to the Falls themselves. The Falls fall into a reasonably sized pond that is shallow and great for wading in the cool waters during a hot day. It's shallow enough so you can bring a folding patio chair into the water. I recommend the Crystal Creek Falls.
