i had an awful experience this past wednesday, february 11th. my friend had been there the day before and got a sweater that i liked a lot so i came in looking for the same one. i came in around 5 or so after class, and the store was quiet. when i walked in one girl was in the front folding clothes and didnt greet me or ask if i needed any help, which was annoying.. when i showed another girl in the back a photo of what i was looking for, she apologized and said she wasn't sure and called over the girl who didnt greet me up front. she looked very pissed off and standoffish and had an annoyed look on her face. she grabbed my phone and before barely even looking at the photo she snapped 'we don't have that here' in a rude voice and went to sit on her phone behind the counter and started eating food with another employee. when i went to look around the store, sure enough i found the sweater sitting on a table right near the register. i brought it up to the counter where the rude girl checked me out. she didnt say a single word to me and ripped part of the sweater when taking the security tag off. i asked if there was another one because i didnt want a ripped sweater and she snapped at me saying that mine mustve been the last one... but sure enough there were plenty more so i just brought another one over and asked to switch the two. after initially saying she 'wasnt allowed to' ...which didnt make since bc i hadnt yet checked out or paid, she switched the ripped sweater for the unripped one. i asked for her name to report to the manager and she told me that she was the manager on duty and that she was just doing her job. she said she was very busy (what, texting?) and that if i had an issue to call customer service. i asked for the number and she said to check the website for it. annoyed, i paid and walked out. when i left, i saw her fold the ripped sweater and put it right back on the table!!! the name on the receipt said 'madeline hay', so i assume that is the name of the rude manager on duty. overall i am very disappointed, i love brandy and their clothes but some of those employees have either got to go or just learn to deal with people without being rude or making you feel like you are a waste of their time. read more

I have never been a fan of the store- I feel that they are unethical in their "one size fits all" philosophy and their general business practices, but my daughter likes their clothes so on occasion we make the 30min drive down. The last time we went before this time was a few months after it opened. However, based on our recent trip it seems that it is under new management and is only going downhill. I was hesitant to go after my sister's daughter's friend (Maeve) was recently fired by the new managers after being deemed "too ugly to work there" so I didn't want to give a company like that my business anymore. But, my daughter had a gift card that she wanted to use the rest of (and they don't work online), so we figured this would be our final trip down. The store was disorganized and the floors were dusty, and loud rap music was playing. We were not greeted when we came in and the workers were all sitting behind the counter on their phones. I asked if they had a tank top in another color and one girl, who said she was Nicole, said "is that for your daughter? um, it probably wouldn't fit her anyway" and started laughing with the other employees. When my daughter asked a worker for a fitting room, the girl (we later learned her name was Madeline) ignored her and continued shouting a conversation across the store to another worker. My daughter quickly decided on what she wanted to buy (without trying it on) and when we went to check out, a large teenage boy was there. He clearly didn't know what he was doing (and why is he working at an all-girls store anyway?) but eventually we checked out. When I asked for the managers names so we could file a complaint, they turned out to be Madeline and Nicole. All in all, extremely disgusted with the state of the store, the attitude of the management and the entire experience as a whole. Very glad that I never have to step foot in this store again. It's not worth your time- if you must have their clothes, shop online. read more

Everyone's exaggerating tbh, I'm my experience it was great the girls where helpful and nice when I asked where items were even though I was with a parent. I think if you want to go and you are scared of staff don't be they are friendly. everyone complains how "they didn't greet me" "they didn't ask if I needed help" why would they ask if u need help if u didn't ask for it. Tbh I like it when I'm able to go straight on and shop then talk once I need help or have a question. I really like the store, sometimes they do switch up the inventory so when I want something one week they change it up the next it's not the peoples working theirs fault just keep in mind :) read more

Do not buy anything in this store or from this company until you watch "Brandy Hellville" on HBOMax. From Child Labor to size and looks discrimination to racism and completely inappropriate working conditions. I would never let my Daughter work for a Company that does such horrible things. Stop giving these people your hard earned money and hopefully they'll be out of Business soon. The man / owner of this company should be locked up instead of making millions upon millions of dollars every month. We need to do better as a community and we need to stop these companies from the constant abuse that goes on right under our eyes! read more

Incredible location with great service. The employees were genuine and offered assistance while I shopped. The store itself is very well maintained and a great location. The professionalism was top tier and I felt comfortable here, regardless of the "bad reputation" this store holds. Very inclusive and an overall wonderful experience. read more

My daughters absolutely adore this shop and I can't blame them. Gorgeous store, sweet and helpful staff, perfect place to bring your tweens!
