Never again! If you're looking for a contractor that leaves a mess behind after they're supposedly finished then this is the company for you! After soaking us for $4600.00 they performed a so called exterior house wash and afterwards the house was covered with a disgusting white residue that wasn't there before they started! A week later they showed up again to I guess finish the job which was supposed to include re staining the East and South side of the house which is what I requested. They only finished partial sections of each side as they didn't think the other sections needed re coating. What they fail realize is that I'm the paying customer which makes me the boss of what I want done to my own house! The solution for the disgusting white residue left behind earlier was that they were going to try and power wash the outside of the house and foundation. I have riverbed stone in my landscaping around the house and when they blasted the foundation stone the riverbed stone was blown out and away from the house and onto my side and yard! Also, the dirt underneath the stones was blown up onto the freshly stained wall that they had just finished! Now as the home owner once I arrived home from work and saw the mess that they had left behind I thought for sure that there was no way that they were finished. I called into their office the next day to find out what was happening and was informed that they were completed! The receptionist connected me with the owner and I found him to be uneasy to deal with as once I informed him of what I was concerned about he informed me that those were minor issues. That left a very bad taste in my mouth to the point where I didn't want them ever coming back to my home and my wife and I would clean up their mess. I have used Brandywine several times over the last few years to help with maintenance of my log home. They have cleaned and re-stained my home and re-done my deck. They have repaired water damage to the outside logs. They have re-done both the bathrooms (helping to design the renovations and then doing the construction). They have done electrical and plumbing work. No matter what the job, I have always been exceptionally pleased with the work. Lawton and his crew do very high quality work promptly and affordably. They are very receptive to ideas and changes that may occur to us during the project. They are easy to work with. They are very knowledgeable about a wide range of subjects. I am so impressed by them that I have given them their own set of keys and the security code to my alarm system so they can have access to the house even if we're not around. read more

We highly recommend hiring Brandywine construction and restoration for your project! They do wonderful work, and even do custom work to your liking. We are building a pole barn style home not your typical house! But they are doing a wonderful job using materials they typically do not use, and they work so fast! We had them build the entire shell of our home and decided to do a lot of the work ourselves. We decided that we have done enough on our own and that Brandywine construction would do an amazing job finishing this house! Our house will be completely done by the holidays, which we could have not done on our own. Not to mention they are super talented! We paid a lot of money to have our log home cleaned & caulked and have the stains removed from roof. All the above ended up with bad results. When we wiped our hands over the logs our hands were black with dirt. When they power washed the house they took off the stain in some areas and made the wood fuzzy. We have large/high windows in front of the house that needed caulked ....because we would get rain seepage duriing a driving rain.......they didn't even have a ladder high enough to do the job. The roof stains were never removed. They did offer to come back at a later date, but was afraid of them to do more damage to the house. Tried to contact the owner a 2nd time with no response back. Had hired a painter to put a maintenance coat on the house. He had to re-wash the house before he could stain. Tried to contact the owner with no Would not recommend. Beware when thinking about hiring them. read more
