The quality of work is poor.We paid well over 70% of our invoice…read morewhich included the initial deposit, the $1,250 quoted for the bathroom fixtures and an additional payment on top of that.Project started on 6/13/24 and they stopped showing up on 07/02/24.They would schedule with us for the following week and then cancel literally the minute they were supposed to be there.After canceling on us 5x in less than a week and unable to provide us reasonable availability to finish the job by 7/27/24 we decided we no longer wish to move forward with them completing this project and asked to be refunded for the fixture materials we have paid him for and have not received ($800).He is now saying he should be charging us more and the money went towards unrelated charges that aren't even on the invoice and was never discussed with us.He is saying he is out the money we paid him and is out $300 of his own money and still owes his employe for labor.We are left with a gutted bathroom,no plumbing, a new tub that is covered in spackle ,trash and scratches.We have never had to hire a contractor outside of an insurance claim and did a poor job in vetting a contractor.I talked with a lawyer and learned we should be asking for proof of electrical and plumbing licensure and have a written contract.An invoice is not considered a contract and he is saying he owes us nothing because we are breaching a contract for not allowing him to finish the job when the quality is poor and they are unreliable in showing up.I wish I could post pictures along with this review.I have proof of everything mentioned in this review!And am working on filing a law suite
