Despite repeated calls, emails, and requests for updates, communication was extremely poor. We were consistently left in the dark and had to chase them down for even the most basic information. The most serious issue: they failed to file the appropriate paperwork, which resulted in us LOSING our court date entirely. That is not a small mistake, that is a critical failure that directly impacted our case. We also repeatedly requested that they file a motion to enforce so we could regain contact with our child. That motion was never filed. Three years later, we never even made it in front of a judge. Meanwhile, we were still being billed. It felt like they were more than happy to take our money, but not actually do the work they were hired to do. If you value your time, your case, and your family, I would seriously look elsewhere. I had to ChatGPT some response/plan as I had no idea what to say or do. About 10 minutes right before my court case, that lawyer finally called me and was asking me about the details of my case as if he had just learned about it. He told me that there was a "glitch" and that I should have been informed about the court case with more reminders 2 weeks ahead of the date. He called the prosecutor to cut a "deal" about 5 minutes before the case, which was the worst deal I've ever had with a traffic lawyer that left me paying near the original fine fee and 6 months probation. He showed me no calculations for allocation of child support and alimony and was largely absent in the process. I was under duress during mediation due to an injury that occured the night before. He allowed the mediation to go on for over 12 hours and recommended I give my ex-wife my house with a 2.85% mortgage, my truck, $6000 per month in child support and alimony event though I have my kids 50% of the time and I paid off all her debt. This put me on a path that has caused immense emotional and physical stress. Don't risk it.
