Mr. Chris Salcido is an artist and genius in his own right. It was a pure pleasure speaking with him, and having him help in my case matters. To be frank, I was in awe in the entirety of the court case as he artistically conducted a difficult hearing into what ended up being in my favor. I DID NOT EXPECT to win, or settle. I expected at most to have some of my charges dropped. I can't say this for everyone elses' case, as they all vary and are different, but Chris is the sole reason we won my case. The Judge was presented with evidence that as a defendant, got me shaking in my boots. Chris, with his calm demeanor helped me see and realize we still had a strong fighting chance, although the petitioner was given every opportunity (I'd say, even to a fault on the judges part) to give her side of the story in order to win what she thought was the correct outcome for our particular situation. At one point, the petitioner even presented one hundred extra pages of text messages out of the blue (which from my understanding, shouldn't have been allowed to present) that she didn't have copies for, and handed them in as evidence. Chris, being the expert he is, did everything in his power of law to have this new evidence "thrown out", but the judge had still granted it in favor of the petitioner, giving her every opportunity he could for this lawyerless lady. As we individually went through each and every paper, Chris, being the quick witted and intelligent person he is, rapidly determined what was pertinent to the case, which pages actually were in my favor, and discerned a few pages that we discovered were tampered with to look in her favor. The amount of proof I had given Chris was, in retrospect, hardly enough to go out and he pulled that magical bunny out from his magical hat and did what he does best. Which is give you a fighting chance. Give you what you deserve. In my particular case, the evidence was stacked against me and I came out with nothing added to my record. Nothing short of miracles preformed by my hired attorney, Chris Salcido. If I were to give two pieces of advice for those dealing with law trouble in the St George area, it is this. Lawyer the eff up, and have that lawyer be Chris Salcido. He will do right by you, and has a endless bucket of tools and knowledge at his disposal. Truly, an artist at work. I wish I could give this firm negative stars. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After paying a staggering $20,000 retainer, I was promised a plea deal of five years with parole--a promise that turned out to be nothing but empty words. To my shock, they then demanded an additional $10,000, claiming it would only be used if my case went to trial. I complied, believing they had my best interests at heart. However, my case never saw the inside of a courtroom, and instead, I was handed the maximum sentence of 25 years to life. This was a far cry from the "negotiated" deal they assured me would protect my future. The communication from this firm was appalling. I was left in the dark throughout the entire process, with minimal updates and vague responses whenever I reached out for clarity. It felt as if they were more interested in taking my money and running than actually putting in the effort to fight for my rights. When I finally asked for the return of that $10,000--considering it hadn't been utilized for anything they promised--they refused outright. Their reasoning? It had been used for "preparation." What preparation, I wondered? The only preparation I witnessed resulted in a devastating sentence that shattered my life. This seems not only unethical but potentially illegal. The lack of transparency, accountability, and genuine effort is staggering. They seemed quick to take my money and run, leaving me feeling abandoned and betrayed. If you value your future and your hard-earned money, I urge you to steer clear of this firm. They are more interested in cashing in on your misfortune than delivering on their promises. I hired Chris Salcido to file divorce. My children where being sexually abused and my wife was protecting the abuser. I had the person charged and locked up. Long story short I filed for divorce, I locked up a child rapist I protected my kids. My ex took my kids when she was served. From that point Chris who I had hired had his parralege/new attorney at 45 handle my case. From the beginnging I started contacting Chris about what seemed like an incompetent attorney. Within the first month he had lost me both houses my kids however promised trial wood fix everything. Then unexpectedly after billing and dragging out everything a year later they withdrew repsentation. I right-way hired a new attorney and found out Jon Hogland of Salcido never filed the correct documents with the court. I lost everything without possibility of going to trial. This is the most dishonest negligent corrupt firm in Utah county. They seemed to not care about my kids being sexually abussed. This seemed strange at first. A month after I lost everything a Sheriff the father of the Salcido firm was on every news station atrested for child sex assult. Boris the father also does the collections. After loosing everything including my 6 children and the person that had abused my kids was out and back in the house Boris sent me to collections for their negligence. Unless you are defending a parking ticket never ever use this firm. I am now working with other former clients some who went to jail do to the same negligence with proper authority's. Until this firm is held accountable in an attemp to save someone else I am writing this review. They also pay to have negative reviews taken down. read more

Now 2 little girls are the ones who are paying the price living with a fresh out of prison so called father. Wish this would have been better.
