We've had cuts from Luis, June, and Israel, and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. Every barber here is phenomenal. My husband and both of my sons (ages 5 and 2) have been getting their cuts here since the boys were a. From the moment we walk in, we're greeted with kindness and respect. The shop is clean, professional, and they treat our kids like their own. My 2-year-old is that kid. The one who screams and wiggles the whole time. But never once have they been rough, impatient, or unkind. Instead, they work with us as a team, showing patience and care until the haircut is done. That alone is priceless. Yes, you pay a little more than a bargain cut--but the quality speaks for itself. If you want cheap, go cheap. If you want precision, consistency, and a barber you can trust with your kids, this is it. We recently moved to South Florida and still make the 3-hour trip once a month just to come back here. My son is severely disabled by Autism non verbal and is an imposing child at 6 feet tall and 280 lbs. Sometimes people are nervous cutting the hair of a kiddo like my son but not here. We were greeted and seated right away. Israel cut my sons hair without missing a beat! He was kind, patient and gave him the most awesome haircut my son has ever had! But a male co-worker came to town and needed a haircut, so I went and picked him up and drove him to Classic Man Cuts. Let me tell you, I was a little jealous, but we need to give men nice things too. So I should have thought to call and make an appointment, but when you watch tv shows, guys just always wander into a barber shop. It worked out great because we happened to catch a barber who was leaving for the day. I think he clocked my co-worker's furry face and head and came back. One fun thing while we were there is I got to play with a dog named Silas (chocolate lab), who belongs to a regular customer. I can't tell you how much I love seeing sweet dogs that the owners let me pet them when I'm in a business. If there are bodega cats, there should be business dogs. Anyway, I thought a barbershop was a sit down in the chair and get a cut and go about 10 min later. Nope! Not this place! There were hot towels involved on my co-worker's face before a shave (he said that shave was the best - he said he get ingrown hairs when he shaved, making his whole face sound like a bikini line), and there was a massage right around the neck and shoulders using hand massagers. As we left, my co-worker sounded like he's going to come back to Orlando just to go to this place. That's really saying something. And his hair looked incredible. Wish I had gotten the names of the barbers in the shop; all I can tell you is both of them have the front two stations as you walk in, and the barber that worked on my co-worker was in the station on the left when you walk in (but I could also see the great work the barber in the other station was doing). It's a very chill place, with a nice seating area. Very clean (I watched everything the barber on the right did to clean his station between customers and I was impressed). It's nice and well lit inside, and it's 100% an experience and not just a great cut. The place Is small and seems to be popular, when we walked in all 4 barbers where busy cutting someone's hair, we proceeded to wait about 15-20 minutes with no hurry it went by fast. The gentleman that cut my son's hair were professional and pretty fast and did a good job. Price wise I think for a barber shop they are kind of expensive but nowadays everything is expensive, i know rent can be expensive specially in a historic building in Longwood. Making an appointment might be a good idea if you don't want to wait. I notice quit a few people walked in before my sons hair cut and after.
