At first, I was happy with the work, since my smile was much better. Unfortunately, I was in for a rude awakening. This office doesn't stand behind their work. Their 5 year 'warranty' means nothing to them.  I've spent the last 3 years not being able to eat with my front teeth, being worried every single day that my tooth would fall out, because it's done just that for 3 years. The tooth has fallen off every 3-6 months for almost 3 years now. Every time it happens, the doctor denies that anything is wrong with it and just re-cements it back on knowing it'll fall off in another 3-6 months. Each time I've asked for it to be actually fixed but was told that "nothing was wrong with it". Knowing full well that something was indeed wrong with it because a crown shouldn't fall off continuously.  When I pushed to have something be done with it, they tried dropping me as a patient and tried getting me to sign an NDA waiver stating I wouldn't speak of this to anyone. When I said I wouldn't sign anything, they then told me it was "miscommunication" and wanted to see me again. Then when I told them I do not want to be seen in their office because of how they've treated me, they've ignored me for 3 months.   I've seen two doctors since and both confidently told me they could fix it and that something is indeed wrong with it. Now I'm left to have to pay for this tooth fully a second time. Actually, the Dental assistant at the new practice could even see it right away and had two ideas prior to even seeing the dentist!  I am writing this review today, in hopes that someone will see this and it will spare them the time and effort and suffering that this place has put me through.

Off course it is more expensive as well but bedside manner is important to me. Last time I was there, a dark haired rather terse woman working at reception asked me for drivers license. I showed it to her but she wanted me to hand it over for copying. She had not asked my permission but rather rudely informed me that they need to copy my DL. Why? She had no answer but another person came forward & told her that it's enough to see the ID. She continued to argue but I held my ground. My insurance company informed me later that they do NOT require this. In fact they are more concerned about the dental office charging for services not provided. So I should get itemized copy & watch out for what's being charged to me. I know four other people who are "customers" of Dr Morris. None were treated in this manner. I felt very insulted by the discrimination & rudeness by this woman. No one at that practice had been rude to me before so it was indeed a shock. Perhaps Dr Morris need to hire better trained people with public relations skill. I am a paying customer who always try to be extra polite to the staff there. I expect the same courtesy back to me.

Dr Popkova is very thorough and competent and explained to me that the recommended procedure might have lead to damage to my teeth and possibly to losing them in the near future. Instead she replaced the fillings and repaired the teeth. It took her a long time to do what she did at a fraction of the price of what I would have had to pay at the previous dentist. She is very ethical and conservative and tries to avoid unnecessary procedures even though they might financially benefit her.

Clearly, I needed to find another dental clinic to continue work on my nasty pie-hole (I'm kidding, guys. My mouth's not that gross). Anyways, I happen by this place via Yelp search, naturally. And let me say...they did not disappoint. This clinic is a smaller one, which I like. Of the two times I've been here so far, it really hasn't been all that packed. While there may be some adjustments needed for their booking procedures (Seriously, I had to get rescheduled 4 times before locking in a solid time. What even IS that?!), they are very quick to check you in once you're locked in for a time. The office is very clean and COVID compliant. For the time being, you still need a mask to enter the building. The reception desk has its plastic shields in place, hand sanitizer, and so forth. But now...the real question that's probably on your mind. How gentle or rough are the dental hygienists? Take this with a grain of salt, as I am a patient whom requires more frequent cleanings as opposed to someone who does NOT have periodontal issues. The cleaning was (much to my surprise) completely painless. Yeah! It probably has to do with the fact that this was just periodontal maintenance rather than a deep cleaning, which I assumed was going to be the case. What that consists of is basically just them taking off the hard stuff more frequently than usual. A "normal" patient only needs a cleaning about every 6 months or so. I go twice as often. So, considering how painless this was, I don't think I'll mind the new schedule as much as I otherwise assumed. Pricing is fair enough. But as I tell everyone, check with the office to verify if they accept your insurance policy first. They're easy to find, located just off of the turnpike. Oh, forgot to mention...I met the head dentist of which this place is rightfully named after. The guy seems pretty chill and very knowledgeable in his craft, but definitely not in a pompous sort of way. That's always a plus for me; when dentists and their hygienists are non-judgmental towards their patients. With all that said, I think we got a keeper here, fellas! I am writing to share our experience with Dovetail Dental regarding my husband David's treatment…read more In February 2025, David saw Dr. Senat for a check-up and agreed to have his teeth extracted. We were charged $2,850.00 for the extractions. On April 30, 2025, David underwent the procedure using only nitrous oxide. In hindsight, we believe Dr. Senat should have advised against this or referred David to an oral surgeon. The experience was extremely painful, and Dr. Senat was ultimately unable to extract Tooth 22. We were then referred to Apex Oral Surgery, where we had to pay an additional fee for Dr. Torio to successfully complete the extraction. The initial treatment plan from Dovetail totaled $14,161.00, which notably included a charge for a "backup" denture. After subsequent issues with Dr. Senat, we requested a transfer to another dentist within the practice. In February 2026, David had four implants placed by Dr. Torio. Following the healing period, we requested a new treatment plan from Dovetail to integrate a bottom denture with the implants. The quote provided was $14,157.00, with potential additional costs bringing the total to $14,995.00. Seeking a second opinion, we visited Bedford Dental Care. Their quote for the exact same procedure was $6,954.95--a difference of over $8,000.00. Due to the excessive pricing and the difficulties we encountered during the extraction process, we would advise others to research alternative providers before committing to a major procedure at Dovetail Dental.
