This market is a must do! As a seasoned thrifter/vintage/antique shopper, this is one of the largest antique malls / vintage markets I've encountered. Whatever you're into, you can find it here - beautiful art, brass, copper, milk glass, depression glass, china, chinoiserie, ginger jars, vintage CorningWare and Tupperware, beautiful antique furniture, jewelry, Barbies, books, vinyl, real vintage clothing and fur coats, animal skins, all sorts of collectibles - you will find it all here! Also lots of western/equestrian items such as saddles and boots. Unfortunately not a lot of silver on the day I went, but I did find some beautiful silver spreaders. I also found the most gorgeous copper water pitcher that I initially left behind, but obsessed over until I went back later and got it! iykyk As with all markets like this, prices vary by booth, but overall I found them to be higher than average (for the things I consistently see and shop for). So you may find your unicorn, but you probably won't find it for a bargain. The market is laid out in a perfect grid pattern, making it super easy to navigate and ensure you don't miss any booths. The front right quadrant consists of rows of locked cases. While it absolutely makes sense for certain things to be under lock and key - like jewelry and small items, delicate and fragile items that shouldn't be handled, super rare and valuable antiques - many of the items in the cases were none of these things. I found this annoying, especially if the price wasn't readily visible. Many booths are well curated and organized, but many others are a hodge-podge assortment of completely unrelated items. Plan to spend at least two-three hours here, and more if you follow the golden rule of making a second lap! I did make a second lap (not of the cases) and spent 3.5 hours. Happy shopping! read more

I didn't take any photos as I didn't see anything worth taking photos of. This place has such curious choices that I just wonder if I missed the "idea" or if there were themes present. The odd array indeed captivated us for a good thirty minutes so there was that! Most of the stuff in glass cases made for an interesting, never ending feel to an antique shop that I haven't got before. The cherry on top of the experience was seeing the sign saying "refills are not free!" - really made us feel welcome. This place is an experience! Allow a good amount of time if you truly want to see everything. It is huge! Prices vary considerably depending on vendor. Many things seemed ridiculously inflated. For example, I saw some mushroom decor items that I purchased a few months ago at the Dollar Tree (for about $1) for like $8 each! Also, Halloween pumpkin trick or treat buckets that you can buy at Target for like $2-3 for $18. I was also skeptical of a lot of the jewelry- many of the items marked turquoise and malachite did not appear to be genuine. I did score a nice piece of sterling and coral here though but you can bet I thoroughly inspected it for a sterling mark. Buyer beware. That said, it's highly entertaining to browse and the staff were super friendly. Don't leave without their super cute souvenir totes at the register. Love the name of this place! read more

This store is full of treasures. Some bargains some not. Many vinyl booths are way over priced. I did manage to find a few bargains. The customer service was poorly lacking at this location. They girl looked like she didn't want to wait in me and when she did she threw my items at me without a bag. When I asked for a bag she again tossed one at me and wanted me to bag it myself. Wandering the Brass Armadillo has become a favorite past time of mine. Admittedly, I never allow myself enough time to explore the many aisles and displays, which are typically jam packed of interesting finds. There is a wide variety of types of antiques (think upscale western art, furniture, vintage clothing, pottery, books, fiestaware, crystal/cut glass, retro cartoon and toy memorabilia, etc.) Some days I find more than I'm allowed, but most vendors price their items pretty fairly and there are frequently sale/extra point days. (Sign up for the loyalty club!) The staff at the registers have always been friendly to me, and will go the extra mile if you need to get clarification from a seller, etc. It's a busy place on a weekend or a holiday, but there's overflow parking in the back. read more

Buyer beware. At least that's what the manager actually just told me on the phone. We purchased 4 "sterling silver" necklaces from vendor booth 278. We discovered after purchase they're not actually silver. The seller, as well as Brass Armadillo, refused to refund me. BA told me they can't do anything about it, "per the contract." They're aware the seller is selling fraudulent jewelry, but they're continuing to allow this seller to sell because "they don't REALLY know" if it's fake. I suggested that a simple magnet to the jewelry in that booth would give him the answer. (If it sticks, it's steel; not silver.) He then told me I should have done that before purchase. I wasn't aware that I couldn't trust what was being sold. Bottom line - they know this vendor is selling fake , mislabeled goods, and they're continuing to allow their customers to get ripped off. Today, June 30, 2025 at approximately 1:30 pm I was at The Brass Armadillo Antique Mall 11301 W Interstate 70 Frontage Rd. N Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 From the moment I arrived I felt discriminated against, since I could realize that all the customers (Americans) were welcomed by greeting them when they entered, and they completely ignored me, even looking at me in a derogatory way. I was near the entrance for a moment to check if they greeted all their only white customers. After touring the store, when I was going to pay for a scarf, I approached the register where I noticed the derogatory manner of 3 employees when I approached. It was here that I could realize how racist they behaved, and how discriminated and humiliated I felt, since at the time I tried to pay for my merchandise, there was a customer behind me with a kitten and another employee told the 3 cashiers who were near the register "look (I don't remember the name of the cashier, I think Katlelyn or something similar) "look come see the kitten!" And the employees completely ignored me, leaving me waiting to pay. I can't believe they gave priority to a cat rather than a customer. read more

Largest antique mall I think I've been to. I didn't talk to any of the staff but inside the music was chill and you could spend hours just looking at everything. They had just about everything you could think of. It was a little overwhelming at all the stuff and how some areas were so jam packed with items, I couldn't even decide what to look at or where to go. This is my favorite antique mall that I've ever visited. There's a great variety of treasures and pieces of history. Prices vary, as any antique mall, but I didn't think that they were out of line. As an added bonus they have a food counter. The menu is assorted sandwiches and baked goods. Prices were very reasonable for the food items. The day we stopped in there was a smothered burrito on the special board (amongst other items). We tried the bratwurst and it was the perfect item to get us a through our antiquing before lunch. I was expecting "thrift store" vibes, but it's SO much more than that. Wild how much stuff is here. Also a surprising amount of Pokemon memorabilia. Is that antique? I love how clean, huge and well organized this antique mall is. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I don't really even like antique malls but this one is clean and easy to look through. I honestly was really disappointed upon returning my second time to this store, as I had a really good time looking at vendors and artists they had at this Brass location the last time, but was honestly really disappointed and disheartened to see AI generated trash selling for $65-$70+ dollars. Not only is AI-generated "art" soulless and gross, but I can't justify spending $70 on a trashy portrait that a computer ripped off from a real life, human-being artist that has bills to pay just like anyone working for and in this establishment. Hoping Brass does what's best and puts all that shit in a free bin outside, or AT LEAST put labeling so we as the consumer, know what you're purchasing is cheaply made, with no thought, emotion, talent, or skill behind it. read more

When you needed someone to get the trinkets out of the glass, the got there very promptly! They were also super nice. I'm not much of an antiquer, but I think the prices were fairly reasonable. I went with a much more experienced friend who said that the prices were reasonable. The have a TON of stuff. I was in there for around 4 hours. I wish they had a water fountain or something to fill our own bottles. It said you had to pay for water which isn't cool. It's a huge building in the summer, you can't keep it super cool in there. read more

Beware of Porn !!! I was shocked by the amount of porn I saw around the store. There was porn everywhere even mixed in with the toys. Guys we're looking at it while families stroll by with the kids ( Yes I witnessed this ) It made me feel uncomfortable. I feel for the women and girls having to deal with this. I worry how much of this ends up in the men's room and this is predatory behavior by what's most likely older you know who. This is a must for antiquing when in Denver Colorado. Great prices tons of dealers, everything you could want from Victorian to Pokemon. The large well lite cases 8 rows double side each aisle named after a state. While in the case areas there is a button you push when you want to inspect an item they are located everywhere once pushed a helper comes to assist. Then on to the rows of booths. Clean restrooms. Within the mall is Roxies Diner with great food, snacks, and drinks. We had to try their world famous green chili sprinkled with some cheese and onions and served with a tortilla we asked for one bowl to shared Roxie split for us and gave as water as warned hot. It was yummy, spicy goodness. We were also given a taste of their red chili delicious meaty and rich flavors. The owner was super nice and reminded us to stop by for fresh baked brownies. Wow! Spent several hours here with my son earlier this week. Glad we went in a weekday--the front parking lot was still almost full. We have always been intrigued when we drove by here and finally made it over there to check it out. It looks huge from the outside, but once you step in, it's obvious how many vendors are really here! There is a large section of locked cases, where we started our explorations. You have to push a button for assistance to look at the items closer to make your buying decision. So we just made notes of the locations with items we were interested in. We then made our way to the on-site café to have a late lunch. Honestly we were shocked at how small son's cheeseburger was. I seem to have chosen better--the special of the day was a chicken salad sandwich combo with drink & chips that hit the spot. We were energized to explore the second half of the store where the merchandise was all out to freely touch. I was surprised to find an art piece just like the beloved one I have from my maternal grandparents. I've tried to research it before, but now that I know it wasn't that rare, I'll dig deeper to find out more. Anyone who appreciates antiques and collectibles would enjoy visiting. I would strongly advise against talking with this buyer. He actually accused me of wasting his time - isn't that why he is there? And I set up an appointment with him a week prior, telling him in advance the majority of items I would bring in to consider for sale, and showing him a spreadsheet. He was beyond unprofessional. Soooo many things to look at. They had cases and cases of private sellers and then isles and sections of larger items like chairs and chests, nicknacks and clothing and so much more. My guy and I stopped by to do some looking here for Christmas ideas. You just never know what you'll find and I was hoping for something unique. I sure got my eyeful of goodies! Memories of many Christmases past when I saw those old aluminum trees. Talk about a blast from the past. While I didn't find that one thing that was calling my name, I saw lots of nice items. If you have LOTS of time, and enjoy browsing, this is a great place. Darling cafe available too. For me, personally, it was overwhelming, so many booths, some displayed well, others so crammed with items you can't walk in to see what they have lest you feel you might knock something over. I think too, antiques are just not my thing, and prefer to find things at the thrift store, and thrift store prices. I love the Brass Armadillo Malls. They are well laid out and always easy to navigate. The location in Colorado was especially nice. We found a few things and in the confusion of whether or not to get a bag, we accidentally left one item there. We were at the beginning of our nearly three week vacation and didn't notice the oversight until we got home. We called and they did still have my item and they were exceptionally helpful in getting it shipped here to Illinois. Everyone we spoke with about the situation was kind, understanding and helpful! Pre-COVID trip to the Brass Armadillo and it was worth the stop. Having driven by more than a few times, I had always wondered what it was like inside. It's on the nicer side of antique malls, well organized and clean. Plus, they sell chili dogs. I ended up purchasing a metal tray for the living room coffee table. It has some wear and tear but the 1940's dogwood design goes well with the existing decor in the room. Plus it prevents a lot of spills and stains on the glass table upon which the tray sits. My best advice for antique malls like this, with so much merchandise? Go in with a game plan ("I would like to find a mirror for my guest room" or "I'm looking for Elvis records) otherwise, you'll end up buying lots of stuff you don't need! This place is super cool. They have a giant collection. I think this is the largest antique mall I can ever think I'm going to, and there's some thing for pretty much everyone. The quality of the antiques in here is awesome! So many different eclectic finds down every isle, you will need more than one visit for sure in order to really see everything and take it all in. If you'd like to see something in the glass cabinets you must ring the bell for service which is fine but some of the employees we have interacted with on both visits so far have been rude and seemed annoyed to help us. They seem a bit agist as we had less problems with them on the second visit where we were accompanied by my father who is in his late 60's! Most of the employees are older which is great but you cannot demand respect from your younger patrons without also giving respect! All the stars are for the items on consignment inside of the mall provided by their vendors! Really great items from cooking to decor! You'll find it all here! The booths are well laid out and you can get some deals here as the vendors will work with you, but don't bid too low. This place. THIS PLACE. How have I not heard about it a million times before now?! I've seen Brass Armadillo on social media once or twice in the past, but not until I drove by this past weekend did I know where it was. I happened to be with a friend who is super into antiques, so we decided to give this mall a try later that day. Oh. My. God. This place is enormous and full of so much treasure! We had no trouble finding parking in the lot outside, even on a Saturday afternoon. Upon walking inside we were instantly greeted by a nice man who said we "looked new here" and explained how the mall worked. The whole thing is divided into consignment booths--some with a theme of items and some with a crazy mix of random things. There's not a ton of rhyme or reason to how the booths are organized, so be ready to do some perusing and digging. I suggest getting some rest, drinking a coffee, and having overall decent energy levels. We came in a little sleepy after a full day of exploring (and maybe a little wine), so I honestly found it a little overwhelming and nap-inducing. There's some seriously good stuff here though, so don't let that sentiment stop you! Prices are also all over the place, but I found them fairly reasonable. I saw awesome steals on dishware and smaller home items like candlesticks. Usually the word "antique" (versus "vintage" or "used") garners a higher price tag in my experience, but they seemed pretty fair for the most part. I wasn't looking for anything in particular and walked away empty handed this time, but I'll be back with a list someday soon! read more

I drove two hours to shop at the Brass Armadillo Antique Mall and spent hundreds of dollars in just one week. One of the employees (old man with white hair) told my fiancé and me to leave at 8:50 p.m. when the mall did not close until 9:00 p.m. He said that the higher ups do not like it when customers leave after closing, but we still had 10 minutes to shop before they closed. My fiancé needed to use the rest room before we left because we had a two hour drive ahead of us and we still had 10 minutes left before they closed. On the next visit a week earlier, the same old man with white hair was very rude and abusive towards me and the manager did nothing to stop him from abusing me and neither did the other employees. I asked to see Barbie outfits from a locked case and he said to me "Do you really need for me to pull this out again? Don't you remember what you wanted?" And, I replied "Take them out, it is your job to take them out and not make rude comments to the customer." I told him he had a bad attitude and that I no longer wanted to deal with him and that I wanted him to stop talking to me. He ignored my request to cease and desist and he started yelling at me and telling me how he was a former dean and a heart patient and he called me the "B" word. He said he was sick of all of the customers, especially me, and he acted proud that he was being rude to me. He got in my face and proceeded to tell me how ride I was and I told him to shut up and get away from me and that I was the customer and that he had no right talking to me that way and calling me a "b I t c h." He said he had every right and he threatened to remove me from the premises. I told him that if he laid hands on me, I would call the police. Then, he threw a temper tantrum and said he was quitting because of customers like me and he walked out the door, Another woman employee with glasses sat there the whole time while he was abusing me and did nothing to help me. In summary, you don't tell people to leave before closing, you don't make customers feel bad and like a burden for wanting to look at items in locked cases, you don't call customers bit-ches, you don't continue to yell at a customer after they have given you a cease and desist request, you don't brag about your time at a college or condemn religion or tell sob stories about your declining health because you feel insecure about your customer having advance theology degrees and being a pastor or to make excuses for your abusive behavior, and you do not throw huge temper tantrums and threaten to quit because you cannot continue to abuse customers and women. And you do not stand idly by and allow your menial employees to abuse a customer in your presence. And for the woman who has the doll and Barbie case of which I spent 430.00 in one week, I would find another antique mall because this one is causing you to lose customers. Also, he told me that if I did not like the way he was abusing me, then I could shop elsewhere. read more
