Brews had a sweets theme which was odd and really way too experimental/ weird for me. The 'Slushie of the Week' (Sour Patch Watermelon' during my visit) seemed to be all the craze that ladies were even getting it for take-out (since I guess that is allowed still). A good friend of mine and I came here while doing our own personal Walking Tour of breweries around downtown Colorado Springs. We got a few flights and had a great time speaking with the bartender for a good hour about various beers, and the history of the location. This was my first time coming in and we will be sure to be back. The beer was excellent and had something for even the pickiest beer drinker. This place is like the gift that keeps on giving. They put our football game a different tv for us, gave our dog treats, and took his picture for Halloween. The service was all around awesome and very welcoming. They have a huge window that opens by the front, which made the inside a bit more "outside." That was nice touch for covid. The beers were good as well, our favorites being the Octoberfest and the Hazy IPA. A great place for Trivia, a beer or just to relax with friends. This is located in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs on the north side of Colorado Avenue between Wahsatch avenue and South Weber Street. It is in a building with a small parking lot to the east side and plenty of street parking. The main entrance is glass doors that face Colorado avenue. I went there with friends to participate in their Trivia night contest. They advertise that they are veteran-owned and operated and brew their beers on-site using a 7-barrel system. Their selections and events are listed on a blackboard that seemed full of both things to do and beers to try. They have a nice assortment of beers. The main room is close to the back with a large open area with lots of 4-person tables in front of the bar. The decor and design are very nice arrangements of mixed wood on the walls and matching tables in the room on top of polished concrete. The staff was super friendly and the trivia was engaging and fun. I highly recommend this place for people visiting the area to get a taste of Colorado Springs. read more

Decent place to hangout if you're a veteran. I was disappointed that more than half of their beers are actually guest taps. Out of the 6 beers I drank, only 1 was actually brewed from this place. I wished they separated or somehow distinguish in-house and guest beers. I assume you can bring your own alcohol in this establishment because there was a group of individuals that brought a 6 pack of white claw, which i find disrespectful to a brewery. The party continued to consume their beverage throughout the entirety of bingo. Love this new spot! I was a fan of Triple S but Brass really did a great job freshening up the place and putting out some great beers. Loved that they had live music but it wasn't too loud/crazy so you could still have a conversation without screaming at each other. Veteran owned and operated, they even donate a percentage of all sales back to non-profits that benefit veterans. So awesome. We tried 4 different beers and there wasn't one we didn't like. My favorite was probably the popo pale ale with the dogger ipa as a close second. read more

Considering this place is only half a mile from where I live, I can gladly say it's a place I feel like I know fairly well. The beer list always has the best concoctions. Something for everyone even if you aren't much of a beer drinker. My favorite is the weisen. I also like the military theme here and the fact that I can bring my dog in. There's a nice wholesome homey vibe here whenever I walk in the door. Another great thing is the live music and amateur comedy nights they do.
