Green chilie cheese fries and hummus apps
Leah S.

Went for a late cocktail lunch on Saturday. Their roof top seating has excellent mountain views. We sat ourselves but were greeted and had our orders taken within a few minutes of arriving. We had the green chili cheese fries and hummus appetizer. Both were delicious! The server was very attentive checking on us frequently to take several different drink orders while we dined. Would absolutely be back again!

Often when I travel I enjoy checking out local micro breweries, and OCC Brewing did not disappoint! The day we happened to visit was a festival, I can't remember the name, but we weren't expecting it and it did change up how they did their menu for that day. My husband and I were hoping to try a flight, but flights were not offered due to simplifying things for their staff on a busy weekend. All of that being said, the whole reason I'm giving them five stars is because of the staff working - they were incredible. They offered us some samples since we couldn't do a flight and talked us through the menu. They really had a great attitude and helped us make the best of the day. We ended up enjoying our beers and shared a few apps and ordered a hamburger for our kiddo. All in all it was a fun visit and I'd recommend to anyone wanting a laid back, super friendly place to grab a bite and a beer while in Old Colorado City.

My friend and I were looking for dinner. We initially decided on a different restaurant, but then my derpy friend accidentally brought us to OCC Brewing. Fortunately, it was a happy mistake as we really enjoyed our food. I had the penne pasta, which was loaded with mushrooms and flavor. The earthy mushrooms perfectly complemented the creamy sauce and Parmesan. Moreover, the amount of bacon was perfect - enough to seep through the sauce while not overpowering the dish. Additionally, OCC Brewing has a neat rooftop space that offers an excellent view of the mountains. Overall, I would highly recommend OCC Brewing if you're in the area.

Flight

Ate on the rooftop patio--great vibes, amazing service, and a beer flight that could make any hop-head swoon. Loaded mac & cheese = solid. The two pretzels with sausage, sauerkraut & slaw? Mid. Like frozen-then-microwaved mid. Slaw barely whispered hello. Asian cheesesteak with Brussels sprouts = interesting, if you like surprises. Dessert: ale cookie with ice cream = actually delightful. Moral of the story: come for the beer, not the food. We'll be back for drinks... maybe with a snack just to watch it politely.

First time to OCC...the area of town and the brewery. We both enjoyed one of their porters. Having looked at the menu online, we were surprised to see most of the dishes that interested us not on the regular menu. Turned out it was 1:50, so we were still seeing the brunch menu. Our waitress gave us the lunch menu, and by the time we were ready to order, she was able to put it in for us. I had the bulgogi sandwich with corn side, while my wife had the chicken salad sandwich with fries. My sandwich was bigger than it appeared in pics, so that was good. There could've been more meat, and there was a lot of bread, but the meat was juicy, and the sauce was tangy and flavorful. Corn was really good too. My wife liked her chicken salad sandwich but thought there was too much bread, which was also a little dry. Fries were fine. Service was consistent throughout. It was attentive, and food came out pretty fast. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

This was a really cool spot that I'm glad I checked out when I was in the springs. It's a pretty huge bar with a whole downstairs seating area, an outdoor seating area, and a rooftop patio (which I recommend during good weather) that had a great view of the mountains. The food was par and pretty heavy. The beers on tap had some pretty hilarious names and tasted great. The bartenders were friendly as well. The only thing I have to say that was negative about this place was that when I went up to close my tab, they gave me the wrong bill, and I ended up paying for some completely random person's food and drinks. They then took 10-15 minutes to reverse this transaction and give me my original bill. I'm glad I noticed this since they did not give me an itemised version of the receipt. I hope this doesn't happen often because this place is legit!

great atmosphere. Rooftop is awesome and with good view of the mountains. Service was good for I'm pretty sure one guy up top on a busy Thursday evening. General consensus on the beer was like not love.

The OCC burger And brussels sprouts
Quinn M.

Really good service brussels sprouts were amazing. I'm not gonna lie that burger was maybe my favorite burger I've had in Colorado Springs so flavorful grilled onions were so delicious. I think I could have maybe 10 more in three minutes. I am so surprised that was the most amazing burger ever the OCC burger.

Quick afternoon stop, as it is part of the Pike's Peak Road Runners Community Cup full moon "run" this month. We had already had lunch elsewhere so chose beer and a dessert. The coffee creme brulee is worth the trip! Very interesting art on the walls. Comfortable booth seating or tables inside, patio seating outside facing Colorado avenue.

We spent here a sunny Saturday afternoon, the place was pretty full but not packed, the large doors were open and the atmosphere was very good. The place is not too loud, you can easily have a conversation. We wanted to sit in the roof patio area which is very nice, but it was too windy. The service was excellent, I wish I remembered the server name, there were two girls who took care of us and everything was perfect. I also had a glass of their "Bad B*ches" IPA and it wasn't bad at all (ha ha). The brewery is located at the very end of the "busy" area of the main street a block after the park, so if you're touring the main area, it's worth going a block further to get to this place.

Great views. Great brews. Friendly service. No wait. Free water. Glad we discovered this place.

Pretzel with queso
Devan G.

It was fine, pretzels were pretty basic, 4$ charge for a tine bowl of basic queso was insane! The beer was amazing! Good was fine

Kick Ass Salad
David N.

Really enjoyed the food here. I got the Kick Ass salad and it was outstanding! Only sampled a 4oz pour of a Pilsner so I do not have too much of an opinion on the beer. Nice casual spot for food and drinks.

Bullish nachos (if you can call them that)

Had a few beers and some food. Beer and cold and crisp so that was amazing. No notes needed. Now normally when getting food from breweries it's always just fine. Not good, not great, just fine. But food here? Amazing. I could come back just for the food and not even drink. Service was low key and not too overbearing. Definitely worth checking out!

Parking was sufficient for a late lunch but could be tight in a busy night or weekend. I met an employee here for lunch and was seated right away. There were several groups in the patio and a few inside as well. It was about 2p so after your typical crowd. Staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Our server made a recommendation of the brisket grilled cheese, my employee decided to go with it and said it was good. I got the bbq brisket burger and it was delicious. Juicy patty with shredded brisket and cheese. We both ordered pub fries which were fried to perfection. Large portions so my guy took half his sandwich to go - my plate was empty though. So good! They had a large selection of beer and other drinks but we didn't partake since it was a work lunch. Looked like anyone should be able to find something to their taste though since I did read the drink menu several times.

I ordered the fish and chips and it was tasty for being in landlocked Colorado. My small gripe was…read morethe fish was small and for near $16 I thought it pricy. The fries were also good. The slaw was a little bland but I loved the dipping sauce and adding malt vinegar and fresh lemon juice to the fish and fries was yummy. Food was good. Service was great. Not too crowded nor noisy for lunch hour around 1:00. The friends I was with said their food was great and their ale/beer was great. (Don't ask me, I have no clues!) lol

Not…read morealways my kind of vibe, but I was with a group where you need to make everyone happy, and I didn't choose, so I can make any type of place work. The food was totally average, and my burger wasn't anything to rave about. The beer was fine. I liked what I ordered, which was some kind of West Coast IPA. The burger had cream cheese mixed with chiles, or something, but it read better than it ate, and the cream cheese layer was too thick, so it was messy and kept coming apart. I don't think they should do less, but maybe spread it thinner on both sides if that helps? And needs more seasoning to it. The guacamole burger had better flavor that my friend and I split each so we could try both. The Brussels sprouts side I chose were HORRIBLE. The worst I've had anywhere. I don't know how they got messed up, but they weren't cooked right and didn't taste appealing. I barely ate them, but the server said nothing and didn't offer to remove the upcharge it was for them. I think she should have noticed and asked me, and that's what I would've done is remove that upcharge if I were serving again. She was a good server, though. It's hard to pay attention, but the good ones do and don't take offense about it. And the sweet potato fries were terribly soggy, limp, cold. Ick. Fries should have a crispiness to them! It's cool they have a happy hour, so I'd def check that out ito see f it works for your schedule to save a few bucks.
