We went on a Friday night around 9pm. They close at 10pm. It was dead empty. I think a total of two other customers and my group of 2. There were about 5 employees. The location has go karts, a pool table, arcade, a batting cage and axe throwing stations. The axe throwing stations needed some attention the wood was highly damaged. The ceiling was also pretty low and the axes sometimes hit it which was scary. The employee who took us to the area demonstrated quickly how to throw the axe. He did not explain all the rules or games available. He went and came quickly. I've gone to one axe throwing location before where they took the time to check you in and explain more of the games available. We didn't try any other activities. Originally I had purchased a groupon, but saw they had Friday night specials on their website that fit our needs better. There were no concessions just a vending machine, not sure on the policy if you can bring your own food. You can BYOB for a fee. I probably won't return to this business as it's far from my home and although it had many offerings the fun vibe was just laking. The place was empty. The employees assisted us minimally. It was just lackluster overall. read more

Alanys was amazing I highly recommend her for a higher position. She made me and my daughter stay very accommodating and easy to navigate. We had the vip Package and we couldn't complain about nothing. Any questions Alanys handled it perfectly. I came from off the highway from New York ,so I love it was a byob plus arcade for my daughter. read more

Had a reservation at 5:30. Waited 2 and a half hours to race and never was able to. Fought me to not provide a refund when I finally chose to leave at 8 o'clock! Terrible place, terrible management, please don't come here read more

Made reservations online for 5:30 yesterday. Arrived at 5:15 like stated in the reservation. At 8pm we still had not raced. Asked many times about when it was our turn and was always told next race and the names for the next race would come up and we were not in it. Staff would not refund but we are visiting from out of state so credits would never be used. They finally called management (no management on site and took forever to get in touch with someone in charge) and were told they would process a refund in 3-5 days (not holding my breathe they do) but could not do anything about it last night. What is the point of making a reservation when times are not honored? Over 3 hours and still had not completed our first race, yet other people would walk in and would get moved ahead of us. I understand that you still might have to wait a little bit with a reservation but over 3 hours is unacceptable. I cannot tell you how many times we were told we would be in the next race but were not. read more

price for one race is too high. waiting over an hour to get one race. constantly being asked what my name is because thats how the line to get a race is coordinated. overall not worth price or time. disorganized and seemingly run by young people/kids that dont really care much. This place is awesome! They have incredible deals that beat out all competitors, such as ontrack carting in Wallingford. The carts are the same, yet we pay half the price at brass city raceway as we would at ontrack. They have great deals that vary from day to day. Thursday, for example, is 3 races for $30 all day. That's $10 a race! On track charges upwards of $30 per race. They also have a buy one get one free day, and on Wednesdays they offer 5 races for $50. This place is literally a no brainer. The staff is awesome, I've been here a few times in the last month and they always greet me like a friend when I arrive. If you are looking for cheap fun, this is your place! Paid for an hour of ax throwing. 20 minutes in and the go cart guy starts harassing us that our time was almost up. Place was empty, and a dump. Want a drink on your night out? Better bring change for the soda machine! Save yourself a lot of money, go buy a $12 hatchet at any hardware store and find a chunk of wood to throw it at. You'll save thirty bucks and have a far more enjoyable experience. Rude, indifferent staff. No amenities, no concessions. Very sad place if you aren't there for the go carts. read more

When I came to "Brass City Raceway" there were many things I expected to see : Brass, City, and(if you're lucky) maybe even Raceways. Even so, upon arrival I still found myself impossibly incandescent when presented with the amazing staff, fantastic stuff (and such), and loads of fun for the whole family. As a young father of 2, me and my wife have been known to look for fun ways of keeping our little rascals busy. Usually, an iPad and 13 days worth of food is enough, but when their thirst for adventure far outweighs their YouTube addiction, this is the first location me and my family come to. Their food is astounding, 8 course meals topped with the finest delicacies this side of the isle. My wife (the old battle axe) lives for the chips (she loves chips) - and don't get me STARTED on the entertainment. Look - I could go on for hours about this blossoming attraction fit for all ages, but unfortunately my youngest has just chewed a hole through the gas pipes and I needed to get us out of the house about 20 seconds ago to prevent gas poisoning. I've taken my daughters and nieces here several times, and we love it! Every time we visited, the staff was always friendly and accommodating, especially the first time we went when we tried it for the first time. The track is great too, good the first time when I was a newbie, and is still fun and fast even since we've gotten some experience. The axe throwing is fun too, great for first dates to test out their skills, lol. Can't wait for kids to come back to visit so we can go racing again. read more

An amazing experience for kids of all ages! All the staff are super nice and welcoming! When we went the batting cages were not working. It was a little disappointing because we were not told this before paying but all the other fun things to do there totally made up for it. The race car track was super fun and the cars go EXTRMELEY FAST! There are so many arcades to enjoy too. Over all I had a great experience and I recommend Brass City Raceway for birthday parties or even just a short enjoyable day with the kids. read more

I went to Brass City Raceway in Waterbury for a Free to be Me Event for the Social Chase. I highly recommend that you go on the go karts and drive them. Even though I haven't tried it yet in a long time since going to Urban Air Adventure Park go karts. But Brass City Raceway made my day. The staff was awesome about including neurodivergent people. read more

The lady who is in charge there is really not nice. The car that they gave us to use was clearly not a good car and the person that was running the track told us as well that he suspected there was something wrong with the car. So we went to the owner women expecting a courtesy run for the one person that had a bad car. She was very nasty and totally ignored what we were saying. Really not a nice person to deal and no begging or explaining was of any help. We didn't want our money back just ONE RUN and THERE WAS NO ONE ON LINE WAITING!! It was completely unacceptable and we would never go back to this place again. Be very careful before you give your credit card to this place. read more

Took my 3 boys (14,11, 7)here for some fun on a Saturday. Thought I was being good and proactive by signing the waivers online and buying tickets online. It seemed like the best deal was the 2 rides for $42, so that's what I purchased. Total was $168 plus tax. I then drive an hour and a half to get there and when we walk in, the kid behind the counter asks me if I want to purchase the 3 rides for $35! I said that no where online was this rate offered. He said it is a walk-in price. I asked if he could refund my earlier purchase that I made online and I would then buy the 3 for $35 deal. He said "no refunds". Not good customer service at all. So basically, I paid more for 2 rides than he was selling for 3. The place was nearly empty when we were there and they could have very easily given us a third race. The boys did enjoy the 2 rides that they had, but it went by very fast and was not worth the amount spent. Also, if you have a slower driver in your group like we had, they get short changed on the amount of laps they are given because the first person in your group to hit the laps limit ends the heat for everyone. Time on the track is equal, but amount of laps are not guaranteed. read more

Arrived at 2pm on a Thursday, right when they opened, about 5th in line. Purchased the 3 races--the Thursday special. Waited over 2 hours for our first race, had to ask staff multiple times why we weren't being called up. There were plenty of people who arrived after us who were called up to ride before us, times when there were no cars on the track or just 2-3 cars on the track, and they were clearly understaffed. We left without ever getting our third race. Takeaway: in the building for over 3 hours for 15-20 minutes of track time. $60 spent for two kids to ride, $20 on arcade cards. Completely unorganized and unfair experience, wouldn't go back if someone offered free rides. read more

Went here with my boyfriend and had an AMAZING time. Staff was very polite and helpful. Staff made sure everyone's safety was top priority. Only thing I would change is having 30 minute axe throwing instead of an hour providing the opportunity for others to try and not having one wait an hour for a free spot. Overall had a great fun experience while knowing my safety was top priority. Definitely gonna stop by again soon! read more

Great new go kart location in CT that uses electric karts! No more sitting next to hot exhaust that makes it seem like a sauna while you're trying to muscle the karts around. We went as a group of 12 this past Saturday and had a great time. (Purchased a Groupon that made the deal even sweeter! But do note: 24 hrs. advanced purchase required!) The staff was very professional and got us racing in no time. Since 10 karts are the max on track, they split us into two groups of 6. It wasn't particularly busy, but I assume if it gets packed, they'll mix groups to get people in and out quicker. The track is of decent length (I think they said 1000 meters?) and plenty of turns, hairpins, etc. to challenge any racer. The one minor concern I had is I think the track-side staff need to be more diligent in removing people who can't handle the karts safely. There were 2 instances where young teens were driving and literally drove full speed straight into barriers in the same location because they couldn't handle the speed while turning. In those instances, I believe they should be removed for their own safety and others racing with them. One of them did appear shaken after the impact, but the staff just asked if they were ok and let them keep going. In some other venues, 2 major accidents usually means automatic removal. Great venue otherwise - hope it lasts til the next time we return! read more
