The Magnolia Jazz band also performs personal requests ahead of time which was such a nice surprise during the wedding when you recognize one of the songs :) They learned a couple of Laufey songs and played Taylor Swift- enchanted for the bridal procession! Having Robbie and the band perform really elevated the experience to another level and was one of the favorite parts of the wedding amongst the guests. It really made the whole event feel so much more intimate. My husband and I are very happy with our decision to hire the band and we strongly recommend them to anyone looking for live music!

His song list on his website helped me get ideas for music I wanted on the wedding day. The band played them beautifully in the wedding. The guy on the sax was stunning! They played all our favorites, mambo, samba, jazz, funk, disco... the band offers many songs and artists to choose your 'playlist' from. The first part of our wedding they played the classic big band/swing music that we love. Then, just as the party was heating up they switched over to rock and got the crowd moving. The dance floor was packed nearly all night and the General Manager of our wedding venue commented that this was the most people he had ever seen on the dance floor. I won the the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony Sweepstakes sponsored by Pebble Beach Food and Wine. I was really excited and could not wait to go. However, the marketing department did not give me any information and never contacted, as they said they would do, until the day before the event. On top of that they lied about sending me this information, which they did not, I search my email spam and everything. Just very disappointing that I could not go since I had no time to give my employer a notice about taking the next two days off from work.

Marlo was wonderful to work with and met me at the venue in advance with his recommendations. He had live musicians and drummers in addition to his own beautiful voice. The dancers were professional, lovely and amazingly talented. Marlo and his group made it a most memorable evening and really gave our event the spirit of aloha. My guests were blown away!
