So many amazing things to buy for the home, gift giving, one of a kind clothing. Love this store.

I love Redoux, as I can always find something unique to buy for myself or as a gift. Most gifts that I give come from this store. Lately I have found that the two ladies who work there are less than helpful or friendly. They act like you are bothering them. Also, Redoux always did free wrapping for you in a white bag with some tissue paper, nothing fancy. Now they charge 2.50 per gift. I totally understand that with the cost of supplies. I asked the lady with gray hair at the register if I could at least get the Redoux sticker to put on my own white gift bag and she told me it would be 2.50 for the small sticker. I explained I liked for the person to know that the store is wonderful so it might encourage them to shop there. I wasn't looking for a freebie but a way to advertise their business. Oh well, I will continue to shop there to support local, but the customer service could use some improvement. read more

I happened to find out about this place from a local artist whom I typically follow on IG and order from on Etsy. I knew she was slowly transitioning out of Etsy and into her own marketplace, and more local places like this, so when I came into town I thought I'd stop here and see all of the hullabaloo. Okay, maybe saying hullabaloo makes it sound like more than it actually was, but I was quite excited to stop here and pick up some new jewelry. As I walked in, it was reminiscent of many artists markets. Little stall-like features from different service providers with so many cute and artistic items that you could quickly see your next three paychecks being spent before you walked back out the door. I did find the artist I was looking for, and I was able to get a new pair of earrings, as I had hoped. I also found some amazingly cute little dishtowels to celebrate the carnival season, and some clearance holiday ornaments left over from the season before. This place has such an eclectic mix of artists and artistry that I'm not sure I could really pinpoint why you should stop here. However, you should, and I'm sure that whatever home décor- personal accessory - tchotchke - child's play thing that you are looking for will be there, and that you or your recipient will be happy to take it home! read more

Prior to visiting Redoux I was never a fan of consignment shops. Most of the other places I had visited lacked quality merchandise and were expensive. Redoux was so nice that it has made me rethink my stance on consignment shops as a whole. I would have never found this shop had it not been for my mom. She frequents these types of establishments and has even drug me along to help lift and transport her purchases on more than one occasion. She recommended I check out this place out and being a good son, I listened. The shop is filled with furniture, knickknacks, and accessories. Their selection was a good mix of high quality modern furniture and antique looking items. I refer to them as antique looking as I was unable to accurately date many of the pieces, but they looked old. The prices were excellent compared to new items. Too often consignment shops price items for nearly what they cost new. This was not the case on the items I looked at. The staff were very helpful and will even help carry and load your purchases. If you are in the market for furniture or accessories, I encourage you to check this place out. read more

Redoux Home Market - Furniture Stores Near Me - Mandeville, Louisiana

Stumbled into this store while going to nearby Tuesday Morning to look for Easter basket items for my grandchild. What I found, is a chic, elegant, quirky store full of unique vintage jewelry, furniture redone by local artisans and some unexpected surprises along the way. It was a pleasure to browse with friendly, no-pressure owners that explained the shop is comprised of many different vendors who rent space under the Redoux umbrella. Every turn brought a different, individual feel to the space...one area would remind me of a stately old-money New Orleans home and the next was a mishmash of antiques followed by some unique non-touristy NOLA items that anyone from this state would be proud to wear. Very cool store and everything seemed reasonably priced for the superb quality of the items available. One of the specialties of the store was the selection of restoration paints for projects; including milk paint, metallics and popular brand DIY in retro hues. read more

Not really a consignment shop...more an vintage item mall with booths. LOTS of faux painted stuff. They did have some interesting jewelry and some refurbished furniture items that were interesting but not what I was looking for. Unfortunately, there was some sort of perfume in the air that made me start sneezing uncontrollably. Definitely a spot to wander through occasionally to see what's new. The staff members that I did speak with were helpful but not pushy. read more

Walked in 6/23/19 and was followed the entire time. At first I thought it was me, but then I seen the lady that was at the register pace the beginning of each aisle as I browsed. Every aisle I was one, she was too. I was in upper management of a couple big box retailers, and had extensive training in spotting potential shoplifters or actual ones and they used the exact same method. I was visibly uncomfortable and left. I have money and no intentions of stealing anything...my girlfriend and I were just looking for furniture to dress out our new condo. I left and won't return, and I'll explicitly tell everyone I know about this experience! You can't treat buyers like thieves. read more

Used to love this place but with the recent switch in ownership and lose of some of my favorite vendors, I was very disappointed with it now. The new owner was quit rude and not helpful at all. We purchased plenty of items, yet wanted to just return it all because of her attitude. Very very disappointed with this and not surprised that the vendors that left did so. It was very clear why no one else was in there. read more

This is one of my favorite stores in southern Louisiana! It's set up similar to an antique mall with various vendor booths. The booths range between vintage, antique, refurbished, and reinvented items. You will love walking through this shop! It's worth the drive from NOLA! read more

Ehh. =/ The man that works at the front desk in this place is rude. That was obvious when I walked in the door and he just looked up at me without saying a word looking kind of annoyed. Some sections in the store are set up cute, but some are so messy and cluttered that its an eye sore. The furnishings for sale, used furnishings, are way over priced. I wont be going back. read more

I was never a fan of these type of shops because so many stores that sell "antiques" and furnishings they like to label "shabby chic" are charging you tenfold for faux-painted used old crap that you would have to pay me to take to the dumpster for you. "Updating" grandma's three-legged chair with a turquoise glaze does not make it shabby chic, nor is it antique by virtue of the fact that it has been sat on in the same trailer for four generations. So I've had this bias for a long time before I ever set foot in Redoux, and as soon as I looked around and saw what the store was about, it made me want to leave. Enter friend, who convinces me to give it a chance, and after several purchases here, I'm glad she did. I can't say whether the old-looking stuff is actually antique, but a lot of the items are beautifully painted and actually look great in my house. Our interior design is a mix of rustic, cottage style and ultra-modern, which can actually look great if the proper balance is achieved. I've bought several items from Redoux that may or may not be old, but definitely look the part. I also love their paint and glaze selection, with which I've painted several of my own items at home and achieved the perfect distressed look in beautiful teals and greens. I took a star off from a perfect five only because even though I've made some great finds, there are also the items I talked about in the first part of my review. Sorry to whoever owns that booth, but I will not be paying $400 for the used end table you bought at Target 15 years ago, no matter how "distressed" it may be. read more
