So sorry he bothered you with questions. The other EMT was more understanding & professional Another one that breaks my heart to have to review the negative experience that our loved one has here. It appears that all almost post acute/hospice services including physical therapy services lack quality care. My daughter chose this facility, primarily because it's the closest location accessible to her, and literally walking distance to the hospital, which he would be transported to since he's paralyzed. That said, I'm just very disappointed. The recent negative reviews are accurate. The response time when he presses a button or we press a button while we're there visiting him at times is very unacceptable period. I get that they're understaffed, but for all of the money that the VA is paying for him to be there, you would think they would at least hire a few more people, and he's not the only veteran. there are a lot of veterans that are there, and they're not well taken care of. And I'm saying this based on his experience and what we've witnessed - all family members, friends and his former coworkers from the base-March Air Force. The other issue that is disturbing, is that some of the younger staff, particularly the younger males & the trainees (don't exactly know what their titles are), I've caught laughing right in front of him, making fun of him to his face, most of them smell like weed, and complaining! Complaining about him right in his face. He's not quite dead yet, and he's still coherent and understands what's going on. It's just very disrespectful and quite cruel! They also make fun of him because he's freezing, and he has two or three blankets, and constantly asking for thicker socks, and for the temperature to be warmer, and at times he's confused because of dementia, but he still coherent at times, (which is a majority of the time), he just has his moments. Now I want to give 5 stars to the head nurse, which I forgot her name,, 2-3 female nurses that are working on the C rooms section , I can't remember their names, but they are always empathetic to him including the one young gentlemen, with blonde hair & accent, he always remembers us. And last, but not at least, the 2 receptionists at the sign-in desk-entrance, if I forgotten anybody for praise. I apologize and can update this review later, because I do believe in giving credit where it's due. But for all the staff that laughed at him, complained about him and treated our loved one poorly and disrespectful. Shame on you!! The day is going to come when it's going to be your loved one, perhaps a spouse going through the same exact situation as they get old. Maybe you'll remember how badly you treated these folks-karma is a bi%#!

Dealing with a quick and unexpected advanced cancer diagnosis, we had to act quickly in selecting a hospice provider. My sister and I researched all of the local companies and after interviewing several providers, Lilebeth's attentiveness, knowledge, personality, responsiveness, compassion, and mission stood out to us immediately. We were a bit under the gun to prep things at home, and she sprung into action relying on her excellent relationships with her transport and equipment providers, and we were set up within 2 hours from the time we hired her. We could not have made a better decision. Her whole team seamlessly became part of our family and she gracefully helped educate and guide us through an extremely difficult process. Their company is aptly named, because all angels have Wings of Hope. And believe me, they are angels.

I would like to offer my assessment of Sunrise Senior Living here in Riverside. I speak with a good…read moreamount of experience since over the years Sunrise has provided care to, not one, not two, but three of my family members: father, mother and sister. The first was my father, who was admitted shortly after suffering a TIA. When Amy came out to the skilled nursing facility where he was recovering to interview him, he was understandably apprehensive but her professional presentation helped calm his fears. The registration and orientation process with Mary went smoothly and all our questions were addressed clearly. On his arrival at Sunrise, he was greeted at the door by three of the most compassionate caregivers you could imagine, and they patiently helped my father transition to his new accommodations. Throughout his stay, approximately one year till his passing, he was always afforded the attention he needed. I recall on one occasion when he needed a meeting with a couple of his old business associates, Sunrise reserved a private room for their use, complete with refreshments. It was a small gesture of respect but one that was appreciated. The scheduled physical activities sessions were great and my participation was encouraged. On the night my father suddenly took a turn for the worse and was taken to the hospital for the last time, the staff on duty helped me through the decision to call 911. In the case of my mother, she actually had two stays, once when she was recovering from a broken wrist after a fall at home and secondly when she was recovering from two shattered legs suffered due to negligence at, of all places, a skilled nursing facility here in Riverside, from which she never recovered. During her relatively short stay till her passing, Sunrise provided the upgraded level of care she required. In the case of my sister, she too was admitted to Sunrise, around the same time as my mother, for her own health issues which resulted in her passing 14 months after her mother. In fact, for a while, Sunrise accommodated both mother and sister in the same room at my request. The nurses on site always afforded my sister with an extra level of care, especially since she suffered from Multiple Sclerosis and other comorbidities. As with my parents, they were always available to me for consultations and recommendations. In addition, since my sister had frequent need of off-site medical appointments, the caregivers were always ready to aid in her preparation prior to her transport. Many of the same caregivers, nurses and staff who had worked with my father during his stay and were still there a few years later and so felt a certain special bond with my mother and sister as well. To this day I still maintain contact with some of them. The staff at Sunrise had always provided exemplary support for my family at critical times for which I am forever grateful. It's hard to imagine how I could have managed without them.

She had a hard time with the call button. Her room mate was very loud and was giving the staff a really hard time. I had to switch mom to another room with better access to the toilet. She did better with her physical therapy in the new room too. They got her to walk again after her fall last January she stayed til March The staff did their best but was under staffed at times it took awhile to answer the call button. My mom said she got tired of waiting and used her wheelchair to get to the toilet. The girls never came to help some of the time. It was better than some places I've seen and worked in. The office staff was accommodating when I called with concerns Overall I would recommend them
