UPDATE: 8/17/25 after 3 pm-the EMT was also rude to him!! People need GOD in their hearts, there was no reason to talk to him the way she did, he is obviously sick & feeling alone & scared! So sorry he bothered you with questions. The other EMT was more understanding & professional Another one that breaks my heart to have to review the negative experience that our loved one has here. It appears that all almost post acute/hospice services including physical therapy services lack quality care. My daughter chose this facility, primarily because it's the closest location accessible to her, and literally walking distance to the hospital, which he would be transported to since he's paralyzed. That said, I'm just very disappointed. The recent negative reviews are accurate. The response time when he presses a button or we press a button while we're there visiting him at times is very unacceptable period. I get that they're understaffed, but for all of the money that the VA is paying for him to be there, you would think they would at least hire a few more people, and he's not the only veteran. there are a lot of veterans that are there, and they're not well taken care of. And I'm saying this based on his experience and what we've witnessed - all family members, friends and his former coworkers from the base-March Air Force. The other issue that is disturbing, is that some of the younger staff, particularly the younger males & the trainees (don't exactly know what their titles are), I've caught laughing right in front of him, making fun of him to his face, most of them smell like weed, and complaining! Complaining about him right in his face. He's not quite dead yet, and he's still coherent and understands what's going on. It's just very disrespectful and quite cruel! They also make fun of him because he's freezing, and he has two or three blankets, and constantly asking for thicker socks, and for the temperature to be warmer, and at times he's confused because of dementia, but he still coherent at times, (which is a majority of the time), he just has his moments. Now I want to give 5 stars to the head nurse, which I forgot her name,, 2-3 female nurses that are working on the C rooms section , I can't remember their names, but they are always empathetic to him including the one young gentlemen, with blonde hair & accent, he always remembers us. And last, but not at least, the 2 receptionists at the sign-in desk-entrance, if I forgotten anybody for praise. I apologize and can update this review later, because I do believe in giving credit where it's due. But for all the staff that laughed at him, complained about him and treated our loved one poorly and disrespectful. Shame on you!! The day is going to come when it's going to be your loved one, perhaps a spouse going through the same exact situation as they get old. I came in with burnt feet. The wound team that's there in the facility. Did a phenomenal job other staff like Jimmy at the front desk are all boo-boo if it's not their way it's the highway but I love the wind. That's there Jacob Starla Daisy, Roxanne, social services sucks very unprofessional and the CNA's they are awesome all of them. The quality of care is good except when you push the red button on the remote for service, they don't come for about an hour or so if you're in need of some care real fast, that's not the place to go. My Dad was here after his surgery. It is so understaffed, it's disgusting. They parked my Dad in a wheelchair in the hall while they were cleaning the room and just left him there. Luckily I was going to visit him and found him unresponsive with a barely detectable pulse! God forbid I was any later, he would have died. As it was there were 2 other deaths in one week! So clad we got him out of there. Plus, he had several falls because he wasn't being monitored. I wouldn't put a rock in their care! read more

Recently we had to move our Dad into Rancho Bellagio. From the moment we went in we have had a great experience dealing with the team. Aileen - Receptionist so kind and caring showed us the facility and answered all our questions and concerns. Naomi the night CNA takes care of our dad like her own. Reina night LVN, and Melanie night time nurse. So gentle in there approach with our dad. Anna and Daniela in therapy working with him to make sure that he succeeds in his therapy. And Laura the activity director makes sure that he is kept busy. Every time we have visited our dad he is always clean and they inform us throughout the day and night of any changes that may have taken place in our absence. The entire team @ Rancho Bellagio is so caring and always ready to help the family and the patients that are staying. I stood here during my recovery from full right knee replacement surgery. The nurses, PT/OT plus the office staff really went out of their way to listen to what my goals was towards my recovery. I was impressed they had an Activity Room for the residents to spend their time by enjoying games, painting, movie night while receiving medical care. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to have a place for recovery from any surgery. read more

This place promised much more than it delivered. first place I had my mom where case manager is not a license nurse with no experience, her position is based on their family relationship rather than their qualifications. Her office door was always closed, very poor communication skills, not open to listen to family members concerns, very "derisive" or "scornful." Nepotism can affect patients as well. When I arrived at Rancho Bellagio I was not in good shape. I had been in a car accident, had had many injuries and surgeries to fix various injuries. As you can imagine I had wounds that needed care during the healing process. I was impressed from the start by how caring and efficient they were. There was never a time that the entire team didn't go above and beyond every day with my wound care. I was very impressed. Miguel, Roxie and Daisy are huge assets to the facility. Each of them is very competent, thorough in their care and the entire reason that my wounds have healed as well as they have. Update on my previous 5 star review, my 4th day visiting this facility, my rating stays at 5 stars, I am very pleased with the staff, very attentive, very polite and there to help. Spacious rooms, clean, with large bathroom attached, plenty of outdoor space to take the patient for fresh air and enjoy warm California sun. The wifi is so good, doing work with my laptop was as fast as my home's wifi. Two patients share one room with plenty of space and privacy for both, the rooms are hotel quality (if not better) when it comes to cleanliness, paint colors and supplies. read more

My husband is nearing the end of his 3 months stay at Rancho Bellagio. It is very hard to depend on others to care for a loved one. Having kind, loving, dedicated people is essential! While I only have positive things to say about his stay there. It's the people who work there that make the difference. His CPAs and nurses are wonderful. Chana makes sure to call and update me every shift. She greets me with a smile every time I visit. Lilly and Jacob are great too. The therapists who provided both physical and occasional therapy for my husband continually encourage and support him to improve his health. As it's time to move on, his social worker, Alejandro is working hard to find the perfect next step placement. I never once had a negative conversation or interaction with any member of the staff. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The activities available look fun and inviting. The meals are varied, look appetizing, smell and taste delicious. If my husband ever requires a skilled nursing facility in the future we would definitely return to Rancho Bellagio. read more

I can say from experience that rancho Bellagio is one of the best skilled nursing facilities in the inland empire from great staff, to amazing food for your loved one. I feel we as employees all strive to give our residents the best care and believe that we do give great care to our residents. Cannot say enough good things about the leadership staff here. Everyone is so accommodating and nice. The case worker Adrion goes above and beyond for her patients trying to ensure their needs are met. She works tirelessly and is always so caring and kind. Her assistant Aaliyah, and Tina, help schedule any transportation and stay on top of all appointments my father has to go to. They work hard to coordinate with the transportation company. Horrible place, first red flag was seeing the teenager weekend receptions that they have. who wears tank tops or crop tops and jeans for a receptionist job? those long unprofessional nails, she was in her cell phone the whole time. Nursing care is horrible my father in law had dirty diapers all the time, call light was on for hours. We asked for the DON or DSD and they never came to talk to us. Horrible place my grandfather was placed there October 28 and the staff was rude they didn't know what they were doing. Weren't being attentive at all super ignorant. We found my grandfather on the FLOOR when we went to visit nurses didn't even notice he was on the floor. We removed him immediately due to him having had previous brain injuries and serious skull fractures. We didn't know how hard or bad the fall was until we took him to the hospital. We were given the news that my grandfather was extremely dehydrated and had serious head injury due to the fall. Please don't leave your loved ones here they neglect and abuse their patients. I have been somewhat impressed by the care given to my father since he was moved here Nov. 5 2022. I was a bit dismayed, however, after dodging Covid for more than 2 years that he managed to pick it up here and passed it on to my sister and me. While I do like the care, feeding, rehab he is getting (he broke his femur Oct 28) I am disappointed that no one there can seem to pick up a phone most times. If I want any info I have to show up or make multiple calls in order to get to talk to anyone. read more

I have been working here for the past 8 months now and I have really grown to love it. Not like many facilities, this facility has amazing staff and a very clean environment. With many complications due to the pandemic, they work hard to make sure we are staffed for the care of the patients and work load for the nurses. Let's just say I had to tell them to give me my phone so I could call 911.. to remove me so I could be treated for serious back up with opioid given without a stool loosened meds. Bloated and severely unable to breathe. Told by nurse "what can they do that we arent doing for you".. told her you are killing me..thats what! Don't allow them to take your insurance $$$ and they do the least to care for you. The first day there actually the first 15 mins a young so called nurse comes in with injection..asked what is that for and what is it.. she turned around and left.. asked the next nurse what was the injection for..she didn't know of any injection my chart. read more

Been to this place 2x here and the staff has been tremendous. Got a staph infection and been here a month rehabbing an ulcer on my foot. The staff here has been tremendous in helping me get better. Administration is very helpful and the dietitian is very attentive and listens to your needs. There's lots of things to complain about when you're in a facility like this but the one that I have to say that has been outstanding is the wound care I've received which has allowed me to return to society. Roxanne and all the other people including the team that comes over from Loma Linda have done nothing but try to help me and have succeeded in making huge strides. There was a time where I didn't think I would ever turn the corner and now I have and I'm getting ready to leave and get back on my own. They abuse their elderly tenants they are verbally abusive physically abusive, they gave my mom the wrong medication too much medication it was a 2 bed room and the lady in the room with my mom was mocked and made fun of by the staff that acted like it was a party every day while the buzzer constantly sounding off because someone in a room needed help the staff was too busy laughing and joking to care about their job, my mom got several bed sores because no one would come in to change her so she sat in her urine and feces for 4 hrs at a time, their was a lady that's 102yrs old they made her sit in a wheelchair for 5hrs at a time and she moaned and groaned and cried she wanted to lay down they mocked her and told her she was staying there, horrible place horrible people working there, I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

My dad was admitted here couple of years ago. Months prior, his own PCP could not figure out what was wrong with him. Admission coordinator Mayra helped placed my dad here for rehab, to get him stronger. My dad was not an easy patient and was having difficult time coping. But Rancho staff did not stop encouraging him and educating him of the changes he was facing about his health. The nurses and doctors adjusted his medication and found the right regimen including his diet. That time COVID was on the rise and so visitors were limited and families could only do window visits. But the nursing staff and activity staff, took time to make sure he was not feeling lonely. They played music for him and danced and sang with him in the hallway, in his room, which my dad enjoyed. There's many caring people in this facility and that is why I was not hesitant to bring my mom here after her hip surgery. With the help of all the staff, both became stronger and stable to return home! read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. My mom was there for about a month. Absolutely no communication between anyone. No one knows what's going on. My mom had a bedsore when she was admitted. It was almost gone. In two weeks, it had tripled in size. It was bright red and oozing. They claim it was not infected and were checking it daily. But it had the same bandage on multiple visits. They were lying or falsifying their records. Asked for updates multiple times, no one would call us. Had to complain to the director. He passed us off to an assistant. Nothing changed. We finally got her discharged due to a covid scare. The nurses were rude to my mom and did not care about her well-being. She has two specialty medications. We took them a 30 day supply on the 9th of the month of each one. She was discharged 26 days later and there were 21 pills left. She's supposed to take 1 per day. So they were not giving her the medicine either. read more

They took very good care of my father-in-law. All the staff is so friendly and always kept me up to date on his care. We were not able to visit in person due to covid but you can visit through their bedroom window and talk on the phone or FaceTime. The bedroom are spotless clean with nice furniture and TVs. They send out texts 1-2x week keeping you updated with important news. My father-in-law just got discharged Saturday, I am so thankful for the time he was here because I knew he was taken care of better than anywhere else.( He's been at two other places before) This was the best place. read more

My mother was there and called me the first night in tears asking me to get her out of there because of the way she was treated. Was left with her legs hanging off the bed with no one to help. Her roommate and her kelp calling for help and no one would come. Physical therapy was never there to even do an assessment but claim they did. I'm 100% sure false documentation was made by them. The staff whether it was the kitchen staff, physical/occupational therapists, nurses, or the activities staff all did their job with great success. Everyone in that facility was immensely patient and polite, which is a quality that is very needed in a skilled nursing facility. The facility itself, I was very pleased, to say the least. The facility was clean like no spec of dust would be seen as you walk up and down the facility, the patients' rooms are very spacious and clean the two patient rooms retained that spaciousness so patients are still granted privacy. The bathrooms overall are very clean, they have essentials at your disposal like spare toilet paper as well as an automatic air freshener. The facility has a lot of outdoor patios which are pretty accompanying beautiful plants and one of my favorite parts of this facility it could make me forget that I am in a nursing facility. My grandparents also stayed in this facility and they had amazing experiences, the staff were very uplifting and had a positive impact on them. One time, one of the nursing staff with dancing with my grandpa and was just really telling on how much love, kindness, and care the staff has for their patients. read more

The staff here are kind, easy to speak to and very compassionate to the visitors there to visit their loved one. The Activities Department is the first contact with the visitors. In addition to their everyday duties The Activities Director, Laura Moreno & staff member Jallyn Delatorre are simply amazing in protecting patient, visitor and staff safe and keeping within Covid guidelines. The Department makes pre-visitation appointments, informs the visitors that they must bring a Covid test with them to be checked before entering the facility as well as going over the precautions that must be taken pre-visitation. Many of us are not familiar with Rapid Tests. Both Laura & Jallyn go the extra mile to answer questions and help in any possible way they can. They do it with sincerity and a smile. I have never seen more incompetence in any medical facility. I have problems with my meds at least once a week. When you press the emergency button in your room, it takes more than an hour to come, if they come at all. If your looking for a safe, reliable facility for you or a loved one, I would suggest somewhere other than Rancho Bellagio. They lie to the residents, including myself. Very unprofessional. read more
