If I would have had the time to look at Yelp prior to stopping here for my husband to "grab" a cheeseburger, I would have told him to keep driving. You aren't "just grabbing" anything at this location. The drive through was wrapped around the building, so I went outside while my husband took our dog to the grass. What we expected would be maybe 10 minutes took more than 30. My receipt shows that my order was placed at 3:25pm, my husband texted to make sure I was okay at 3:42 and I didn't walk out until at least 4:00. There were a LOT of employees working, so I don't know where the breakdown was happening. Poor management? Not the right people on the job? I really don't know, but it didn't appear to be the fault of the people (mostly teens) at the counter. I slowly ate my Oreo mixer while I waited. I finished it before the cheeseburger was ready. I was tempted to walk up and ask for my cheeseburger, but I didn't want to be rude to the rest of the patrons who were waiting. Several of them were already taking out their frustration on the front line staff. The ONLY reason they got 2 stars was because my husband said his burger was good. This is not our first time eating here, last time was when we went to Turner Falls. But today we decided to check it out again. I ordered the number 6 the way it comes (which is delicious, btw) and my husband ordered the number 5 and added a pattie to make it a double. The young gentleman was nice and got our order taken quickly. We chose a booth at the back (it wasn't super busy, maybe like 5 tables full). Our table we chose wasn't the cleanest but I've seen worse. Our food came out fairly quickly. My husband said his burger was delightful and mine was as well. We took our time and decided we both wanted "fancy" ice cream. We both decided on a candy sundae with hot fudge and Reese's, I got a single and he got a double. The same young gentleman made our order and did so quickly. We went and sat back at our table and enjoyed our ice creams as more and more people came in. Ordered a double jr cheeseburger and a freeze. Handed me a burger that wasn't mine. Went back to the counter and the girl taking my original order said, "I need to see your receipt." Gave it to her and she wordlessly walked off to the manager. I could hear the manager say, "I need proof he ordered the burger." Then said, "I want his burger back before I make him a new one." Manager came back with the correct burger and said, "sorry about that." Freeze wasn't mixed well either. Despite the multitude of negative reviews, I had a fantastic experience here. So much so that we came 3 times in our six day visit to the area. The ice cream was super creamy, and I got the Reese's candy sundae each time. The sundae consisted of ice cream, hot fudge, chopped up Reese's, whipped cream, and a cherry. I've heard that they are usually of higher quality, but this is the only one I have to go off of. They are no slouch when it comes to the ice cream. There are a ton of different flavors, and it has that old-school vibe. An old school vibe is usually a good one when it comes to ice cream businesses. Why? Because back in the day, going out for an ice cream was one of the coolest things you could do. That was before the time that you literally had the entire world in your pocket, i.e. a phone that connects you to every corner of the universe, instantly. My girlfriend and her mom talked up this little chocolate soda concoction, so I had to go with the flow on this one. I loved it, despite them claiming that it's usually much better at other Braum's. While others waited in line, we ventured up and down the aisles to find a bunch of different items that you normally wouldn't find at a convenient store. So let me start by saying that my family loves Braum's. We eat at the one by our house and enjoy it. We stopped at the Holiday Lane location on the way back from Turner Falls and placed a pretty straight forward order. Then went to find a table. NONE of their tables were blocked off for COVID reasons. Not one. Every single table we looked at was dirty and the floor was filthy. We had already ordered our food so I cleaned off one of the tables with antibacterial and we sat down. When we got our food my husband's burger was the complete opposite of what he asked for. The salad that I ordered (Braum's actually has really good salads) was wilted and brown and the chicken was under cooked. I ate the crackers that came with my salad and nothing else. We just finished our drinks and left. This location is terrible. read more

The grill person started putting our food on a tray at which time my husband told him it was to-go and the grill person told my husband rudely that he needed to make sure to tell the counter person when it's to-go. I did tell the counter person my husband said. They forgot to make out cherry limeade so we had to wait for that after our food was out and the counter person acted like it was our fault that they didn't make it. The most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I was with my family eating and the worker was going with two buckets of ice. The girl pulled the ice drip tray off and poured the dirty ice from the drip tray into the machine and then put the two buckets of ICE on top of it. I have never seen that before. I checked the description online afterwards of what I was supposed to have, and it appears she left out one ingredient and got it wrong for another. I think they might need more training. read more

As I was in the ice cream line, to order a cone, I overheard the guy in front of me order a limeade and the tall female worker, goes to the back and cuts up limes and proceeds to make a limeade, so I then order a limeade. We went in for ice cream around 8:30pm. It was a little busy and had a few in line in front of us but not crazy packed. The shake machine mixers had a huge mess of melted ice cream covering the counters in front of them. The lids covering the ice cream had globs of melted ice cream on them. When they raised the lid to scoop ice cream is was running down the back side of the freezer. One guy working had huge stains on the back of his shirt where he was using it to wipe his hands instead of a rag. No one was washing or cleaning anything. The young guy running the cash register reached up to clean in his ear and then came over to get out ice cream for us.
