ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Terrible food, terrible service. If you want to be charged 6$+ for a burger you can't even modify come here. So dumb, you can't add anything on to the 4 cheese burger or kids burger. Like a handful of lettuce is going to be the end of the world. Staff is rude and snarky. The guy that took our order must've been new. We ordered a large cherry shake and a large chocolate shake. I think we waited 10-15 minutes for them with no one else in front of us. Watching him, we didn't have high expectation already. The cherry shake was made with syrup and vanilla ice cream. We saw him struggling to make it and he even broke the cup so he had to transfer the shake to another cup and he had to wipe the cups on both shakes because they were so messy. None of the other workers seemed to try and help him. He had ice cream going up his arm. My guy said you would've thought he was a mechanic.....lol! Cherry shake tasted artificial and not really good. My chocolate shake was so thick I couldn't even drink it with a straw. I just scooped it with a spoon. The exceptional job done by the staff at the braums on SW 24th St in Norman is always top notch. Fast, friendly, high quality and honest! The manager Robert is very rude and unprofessional. The food is usually good here but they need to work on customer service and general respect for loyal paying customers. Stopped by at 10:43 for some quick ice cream, they left me sitting at the drive thru screen for 2 minutes didn't acknowledge me and turned off the lights. I went to the window to ask why they do me like this after serving 3 other people right before close. Robert told me video footage shows me pulling up at 1045 and one of his workers yelled "we're fucking closed loser" right in front of him and this is somehow acceptable to the manager ? They suck. Employees are rude. You ALWAYS have to pull forward to wait for your food. They dont give you your drinks before you pull forward to wait, but they do give you your ice cream so that it can be half melted when your food finally arrives. I shop at Braum's because I like their bagged ice and the many flavors of ice cream. In a pinch, it's a good place to grab a gallon of milk or carton of butter, but beyond that, I must stop. I never order their food since the preparation area at my local Braum's, 24th and Main in Norman, is always filthy. To add to the overall look, most of the employs look disheveled and their clothes never seem clean. I understand that cooking and scooping ice cream is messy, but that aside, the white shirts they wear all seem so dingy. It's as no one ever bothers to launder their clothes. Washing each time they work, with a splash of bleach in the washer would do wonders. To add to this, often there are more employees than customers and yet they still have trouble getting the work done. It's as if there is no true management direction and I think this must be inherent with all Braum's because I have seen the same disarray and untidy appearance at other Braum's facilities in the area. For the record, I have had the food and is not worth eating. Sadly, my grandson likes the chicken strips. Once while he was eating them I tried a taste of the side of gravy. For a long time I thought there wasn't anything worse that their crinkle fries, but the gravy IS the worst. And whoever created crinkle fries should be shot at sunrise. First trip to this highly recommended venue. Looked online for flavors and menu ahead of time and then tried to go through the drive-in. Unfortunately, most of the flavors we saw online are rotational and not available. We then had to go in. Service was always and nobody was helpful in explaining the process of ordering items (grocery store line, food ordering line, pay line, and ice cream treat line made for lots of wandering people). Waited in line for a long time to be rushed through my selection process (no list of flavors to read and most of the ice cream tubs are unlabeled). My ice cream was melted and pooling in the cone since I had to wait 10 minutes to pay. Ice cream itself was tasty. Recommend the speculoos flavor for sure! Other flavors like cookies and cream and cappuccino chocolate chunk were subpar and bland. read more

Every time I have been here employees under 60 are rude and non- caring. Also, they seem "put out" if you order a sundae or shake. If you do not want to make them, so not work there!! Love the milk here. Every time I go back, I have to have my family pick up a gallon because it is just so good and there is nothing that can compare in AZ. We also went one night for ice cream and I got my usual two scoop reese's peanut butter cup ice cream sundae. SO GOOD. Especially all the peanut butter. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is that I felt like the dining room wasn't exactly clean and that one of their employees was on a break taking up a 6+ person table. Dude, I know it probably wasn't prime time when we were there, but you took the best table in the joint and just stretched out making it inconvenient slightly to find a good table to accommodate our not small group. read more

I had never heard of Braum's in Texas, but I figured it was equivalent to Dairy Queen (they are all over the place in Texas). My coworkers told me about them and their history - that they breed and grow their food fresh here in OK. I love their number 3 combo and the fries tasted "clean"....I'm not sure what other word to use there, so I'll go with that. My kids love their ice cream, and I love the price! haha...My favorites are the cookies -n- cream and the dulce de leche cheesecake. Yum! Always a good bet if you are in the mood for a burger or ice cream. :D read more
