I've been researching Plasma Fibroblast for a long time because I have very crepey upper eyelids & they're hooded as well. I wanted something non-invasive, more affordable than eyelid surgery but would 100% give results. I am a 44 year old, Southeast Asian woman (tans easily). I found a provider in LA but kept hesitating. Had dinner with a friend one night & she told me there was an SD provider who worked in the same space as her. I checked out Christiana's IG page & felt confident in her skills, so I made an appointment! Her space is located right off of Front street, plenty of street parking in that area of DT/Little Italy. Her treatment room is very clean, beautiful & relaxing! She offers a heated table & blanket for comfort. Candles lit for aromatherapy, I love it! She is super personable & sweet, made me feel comfortable right away. She put the numbing agent on me & I laid there for an hour waiting for it to kick in. I just listened to my podcast w/earphones the whole time. After an hour of numbing, she peels the cream off & proceeds to start zapping away! On a scale of 1-10 for pain, it honestly felt like a 2.5, totally bearable! Most parts I felt absolutely nothing, other parts, like a tiny rubber band snap or something. Both eyelids went very fast, only 20 minutes! She is VERY precise with her dot zaps, I was impressed! Everything was super even. She sent me home with an awesome post-care kit: silver spray, silver gel, aquaphor, dove soap, ice packs & emails you very detailed instructions! I was able to drive home no problem, I even stopped off to get myself some food Lol Day 1 I was sore, but didn't need to take any ibuprofen at all Days 2 & 3 were the most swollen, but no pain at all Day 4 the swelling had gone down by 80% Day 7 all my dot scabs had fallen off & I am healing great! I wear SPF 50 on my eyelids, sunglasses AND a baseball cap (I'm not taking any chances with hyperpigmentation because I am a Fitzpatrick Level 4) every time I go outside. This 5+++++ star rating is long overdue. I have been going to Christiana for my eyelash extensions a little over a year now, jeez time flies. There aren't enough stars for Brave Beauty Spa. The spa is basically an oasis relaxation cave. Going to get my eyelashes done honestly feels like a break in my day where I get to pamper myself. She's got essential oils diffusing in one corner, candles going in another at all times so you walk in and your body goes into relaxation mode immediately. She is very clean in her work, meaning sanitizing her hands constantly, washing her hands, her tools, etc. She is super gentle and aware of what she is doing when she works. Christiana works hard at getting my lashes full week after week. And when I say full, I mean like lashes of your dreams full. I get SO many compliments on my eye lashes and it is all because of this gal. I don't have to apply mascara in the mornings and when you get up before the sun that little part of your morning is HUGE. Very grateful for Brave Beauty Spa. My skin problems began at the ripe age of 12 and while I always thought I'd grow out of acne issues, well it never happened. This was my first time EVER having a facial done, I have very sensitive skin so I've always been hesitant about facials and products I'm not familiar with. We discussed that I had sensitive skin and that I use natural vegan products.
