I asked Caysi for a refund in March 2020 to which she told me the deposit was non-refundable AND she didn't have the money to refund me the remainder of my payment. I was understanding because of how crazy the times have been and agreed with her that she would provide the service at a later time. Once I reached out to her, Caysi said she can't provide the service to me in August of this year as she is booked with clients (as if I'm not a client?). I asked to be refunded the other half of my money to which she refused. I then rescheduled my event to a weekday in September and asked her to provide the services. She stopped replying at this point, so I had someone else message her anonymously to see if she would respond to them. She did, and she said she was available on weekdays, so I know she is available but apparently unwilling to provide the service to me. I guess this makes sense , because why bother providing a service when you already have a clients money ? She may be polite but she ripped me off and took my money. I essentially paid 650$ but never received the service. Not only do I have to find a new makeup artist but I also have to spend even more money, which is frustrating. I've had experiences where I sit silently for about 45 minutes while a make-up artist furiously and silently pokes at my eyes blending in eye shadows. Anyway, not only is Rocky very nice and has a good vibe, more importantly, she's a fantastic make-up artist. I'd say she's very intuitive and takes the time to listen to your wants, study photos of how you've previously done your make-up and makes sure the end result is exactly what you want. Also, two more great things about Rocky. She wants you to tell her if you don't like anything about your make-up or want more of this or less of that. I've had a couple experiences where make-up artists have become visibly upset with me when I ask them to change something that I don't like. Rocky, on the other hand, gladly asks you what you want in order to make sure that the end result is nothing short of perfect for you. So, last thing I really appreciate about Rocky...she's got secrets, make-up secrets (of course!) which will transform you! The best part of all, she'll teach you her tricks as she's doing your make-up. I won't spill the beans about the secrets. Instead, you'll just have to go and see her!

I am not that good at make-up nor do I know much about it and she held my hand every step of the way. I showed her pictures of what I liked and she matched it perfectly. I was so happy that her service included at my home trials -- which is a godsend given my busy schedule. At each trial she got to know what I was looking for, made me feel comfortable and discussed the results so that we had a plan on the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Meko arrived right on time, greeted us with a smile and got her workstation set up.
