I decided to go with the tasting menu (menu dégustation). It is a ton of food. Started with a light corn cream - flavor was delicate and smoky. The bouillabaisse was perfect - scallop beautifully done. The roasted quail was also very good. All the garnishes and sauces complement perfectly. The foie gras with the super crispy bread was excellent. Even the sherbet for palette cleansing was superb. The scallop main course in mushroom sauce was an art. There the waiter just punched in my burger amount and showed the amount that shows up on the menu but no breakdown of the taxes or fees. I paid and said nothing but I'm never coming back here again and I've lived in Verdun for 15 years so they've lost a long-term customer.
