Sent pics and the feild manager was not easy to deal with or even talk to. Very agressive and rude, and denied any responsibility. Stating they made NO MISTAKES EVER. Paid over $6000 for Quartz counter tops from MOMAX in merrillville indiana for a 2 year old house…read moreand the counter tops pulled away from the wall along with the cabinets about a 1/2 inch ....we called MOMAX and they told us to call a contractor for extra bracing for the cabinets...YOU WOULD THINK THAT MOMAX ARE THE INSTALLERS and they should either tell you before the installation of the counter tops that more bracing is needed or offer more bracing and charge you for the extra bracing that is needed..THEY TOLD US THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE SO BUYER BEWARE!!!

The issue i had was a sliding door that only allowed for 18" deep cabinets. I had two previous quotes from Menards and Wayfair. They both wanted to sell me custom cabinets at a smaller size with special hardware. Would have been two to three thousand dollars more not even including the countertops. Gabrielle was the first one to actually provide me with a quote that did not require all custom sizing and looks great, is a better quality and has a better warranty The original garbage can cabinet that was ordered is extremely tiny, I would not recommend its more suitable for an office or bathroom. Due to that, I needed to replace with the double can. Much better size. Vicky was able to help me with this issue since Gabrielle was busy helping other customers. She was able to get the new cabinet ordered quickly and arrived ask planned. Thank YOU!!! Overall the cabinets were simple to assemble, FYI, I've never installed cabinets before.

But after many unanswered emails and phone calls to them, we became frustrated and decided to look for another company. I did a Yelp search and sent messages to 5 different businesses. Dejan was the first person to respond (7 minutes after I sent the initial message - talk about responsive!!!) I can confidently say that DK Stone's prices are the best in the market after comparing them amongst the other 4 competitors. The best part is that everyone else had told me that I would need to buy at least 2 slabs for the dimensions of our countertop. I asked Dejan how many slabs we would need and he said ONE SLAB for both island countertop and stovetop countertop!! He was able to calculate a configuration that would get everything done with minimal waste - this was huge in terms of cost. He had his guys come out to measure 5 days later and the counter tops were installed a couple of weeks after that. Everything was perfect, they were so efficient. Okay so now you have an idea of their work but what about service? Someone had accidentally taken our garbage disposal ring when they were cleaning up after the job so we couldn't get the disposal installed - we reached out to Dejan and he had someone drop it off. He could have easily ghosted us since the job was done but he was still just as responsive. We seriously cannot recommend DK Stone enough - we are so impressed and after being let down by so many other companies this was the breath of fresh air we needed.

From the moment I walked into this place through the first and the second installment, I was so flippin pleased that I can hardly contain myself. Let me first start out by saying, my husband and I initially went to a place called Momax in Merrillville with awful response service. We had to call numerous times, despite visiting them a second time since no email or calls were being replied to even after they said they would reach out. We finally gave up and searched for another local countertop company. [we have connects in Illinois, but wanted to keep it local] So glad we did and found Prestige!!! The second I walked in to Prestige Custom Stone, The front door staff were very friendly and helpful ...even their beautiful lab was friendly!! Debbie came out to the showroom & approached me asking what I was looking to do, once I explained what I was trying to acquire, she asked if I'd give her a lil time to do a search and she'd be back. Within about 15 minutes she came out with an elaborate hand written list of the quartz products that she felt would match my requests. She literally took the time to hand write these items!!! In addition, she gave me a list of vendors which carried the product & where I could visit to touch, see and choose the exact quartz. Soon as we walked out the door we were approached by a gentleman asking if we found everything we were looking for; I actually did have another question. He then directed me to another guy [the owner] who graciously answered my question & some, even with us interrupting his lunch. Thankfully it was noted the one item I had a sample of would not work in the area I was looking to have done. Hubs and I took a ride out to the vendors, found the PERFECT quartz and the deal was made. The fella who was measuring everything couldn't have been nicer and more precise in all his accuracy and suggestions. Super nice guy! The guys fabricating did an AMAAAAAAZING job on the counter matching all the veins perfectly with our requested mitered edges. Just awesome!! The crew installing the counters were exceptionally fun, nice, professional, clean, placing tarps everywhere and vacuuming and wiping every imaginable area that may have been affected. They did everything right even asking 'hows this, you good with this?" We then thought to ask if they were able to take our old counter pieces and fabricate the [2 pieces] accordingly to fit our newer laundry room cabinet tops. For a small fee, they 'Made The Old Counters Work' for this space!! We were so excited!! What would have otherwise been tossed out was wonderfully repurposed by these amazing people! I can't say enough about Prestige and will DEFINITELY be recommending them to EVERYBODY & ANYBODY who needs stone surface materials. Thank you Prestige...You ROCK!!!
