Victor was extremely communicative & timely from our first conversation. We arranged for him to come out to the house and give me a quote. He arrived precisely on time, even though my home is not exactly easy to find and gave me a comprehensive quote for the work I required. Victor and his helper Mario were at the home for 2 days and then added on another morning when I decided to have an extra room painted. They were professional, clean & organized. I had a terrible experience with Andy's painting. Prior to starting the job, I emphasized to the…read morecrew that we had recently installed new flooring in our home and that I was concerned about protecting the floors. I was assured that the floors would be covered during the duration of the project to ensure protection. Floor covering is specified in our contract but was not completed. Our floors were not covered. Instead, masking tape was placed on the floor in sporadic areas. I discussed this with our project manager Kris and the painting crew after realizing that they weren't going to cover the floors and again re-emphasied my concerns, however the floors were still not covered. The tape job was not adequate, and paint got all over the stairs and flooring. The crew attempted remove the paint using an abrasive orbital buffer and a sharp hand tool. This caused multiple steps to be scratched and gouged. The crew caused $622.08 worth of damage to our new flooring. Andy's website states "We perform the work. We do not subcontract our painting work. All our painters are employed by Andy's painting." The original painters and our project manager Kris both informed me on the first day that the crew were indeed sub-contractors. The painter said that it was only his second day working with Andy's. Obviously, this was frustrating and a willful misrepresentation by Andy's. We did not expect or agree to have the job subcontracted. Especially by someone who lacked the skill to complete the job. Areas that were not to be painted received paint. Including the stair risers, handrail and doors. The handrail was even painted a different color without my consent or prior knowledge. The lack of attention to detail was astounding. We had to babysit the entire project. I had to ask multiple times to have simple tasks like filling nail holes or having walls textured completed. All of these items were agreed to in our contract. However, there were constant excuses from the crew and attempts to cut corners. I was told "you probably don't need 2 coats of paint" and "you can't see those holes." ect. It was tiresome to have to repeatedly insist that they complete the job as we had agreed. The first crew was fired by the project manager after 2 days. In total, 3 different crews worked on our project trying to get it right. On the very first day I was told that the job would be completed in 1 day. The job ended up taking 5 days. The doors were painted using a sprayer in our driveway. The driveway was not protected properly and there was white paint sprayed all over our driveway. The doors were initially put back on wet causing the paint to be damaged, door hinge pins upside down, missing screws ect. The crew does not arrive on time. They were at least 30 minutes late on 4 different occasions. Multiple crew members told me that Andy's will hire anyone and that they don't check references or require any demonstration of proficiency or skill prior to be hired. Overall, it was a bad experience. I was expecting a much more professional experience and result. Andy's did agree to pay for the damage and did some additional work on removing the paint from our stairs and flooring. I would not recommend hiring Andy's Painting.

Extreme painting has done work for me several times. The…read morefirst round, cleaning and stripping beams and resealing brick floors they did a great job! Everyone was great! The second round of work, I had reached out to them asking for a referral to cut a large nicho/open shelf in a wall and to reseal a small area of brick. They said they could do it for me. Great? The opening of the wall went great the finish of the opening was done poorly. They came back to try to correct the finish on the shelf/nicho but still left the edges with the base coat showing and the filler lumpy and uneven The brick I requested be resealed needed some sand, which I asked if they could do or should I get someone else to do the sand, they said they would be able to add the sand in some areas before sealing, unfortunately the sand was left on top of the bricks and seal put over the sand. They came back to redo the bricks, but only redid a portion of the brick, areas of the floor still have sand under the seal.... The response I received regarding the finish of the shelf/nicho was that it's difficult to do a plaster finish in an already plastered wall. The response I got regarding the brick is that they put the sand in the brick at my request I was told they were swamped and needed to finish the job and did what they could.
