When I paid, it was $20 higher than the quote, and they hadn't added in the tax. The total bill at "dealer cost" was the UHaul price. The install without electrical took almost 3 hours; it makes me wonder if they just took it to UHaul. It wasn't a complicated job and I should have just gone to UHaul myself; it was closer to home and the total experience would have been less time. Lesson learned. UPDATE: I called John P. about his reply. When I made the original appointment Ryan wrote down one number of the VIN wrong. We corrected it the next day, but he forgot to give the correct VIN to whomever ordered parts. He was pleasant and fully admitted his mistake and offered me to do the work at the dealership cost. While I was really frustrated about a second trip, I liked how Ryan was a stand-up guy and owned the mistake and made amends, so I went back. John hadn't investigated any of this but I did like that he mentioned they took off the exhaust because the car was louder than normal. John turned me over to Deano and he offered to send a runner to my house to pick up the car and look at it. That solved my two issues; driving distance and time. They dropped the car back off a couple of hours later and it was back to it's normal sound level. Deano called and said they found the heat shield bolts in the front of the car were rusted and coming apart. They wired it up the best they could. I'm guessing either by putting the car on the lift or messing with the exhaust was all it needed to loosen the heat shields. Kudos to Ryan and Deano. I still feel this was a high end shop doing a simple job; it looks like they do a lot of body and electrical work. Felt like I was going to a plastic surgeon to have my nails painted.

I went in for a window tinting, to include and ceramic coating. Because they were backed up they took over 4 days for this service. Upon picking up my vehicle, I immediately noticed scratches on the paint. I was slightly annoyed because they called me multiple times after the car was ready to ask when I was coming to pick it up. Only for me to see that the car was not inspected and ready to be delivered. They ended up giving me a discount to make it right and offered to redo. I accepted and was grateful for the acknowledgment. While their services may take longer than I expected, they offer a rental car or Uber service. They end result looked great however I am concerned that no paperwork work warranty is offered. They have areas of improvement for a professional business but the quality of work appears to be great. As suggestions, I would suggest a legit drop off process. When I dropped my car off, no one even asked for my name or phone number. When I picked the car up, I was told about a warranty but not given a detailed receipt or any warranty documents. I had to request this.

I had Venture Shield installed on my new '13 ZL1 Camaro and was very happy with the results. Last month I traded it for a new '16 Corvette. The dealer was impressed with the condition of my Camaro and commented that putting the paint protection on it had been a good decision. I received what I believe was a very good trade-in allowance and I attribute it at least in part to the Venture Shield I had put on the car when it was new. When my new Corvette arrived I brought it to Bravo to have Venture Shield installed. After bringing the car home I parked it in my garage and under the fluorescent lights I could see flaws in the clear film. I contacted Bravo and talked to Charlie about it. He asked me to bring the car in so he could look at it. The next day I arrived at Bravo at 10:00 AM and parked out front. Charlie and I inspected the Venture Shield but the flaws were very hard to detect in the outdoor light. I was beginning to feel like an overly picky customer. Charlie said lets take it into the shop and look at it under the fluorescent lights. Two minutes later Charlie says he knows what the problem was caused by. He showed me a roll of clear film rolled out on the work counter and pointed out some flaws in it (small bumps) which apparently slipped by 3M quality control. Charlie offered to remove the Venture Shield and replace it with film from a new roll (no cost to me). He began immediately. I asked Charlie about also installing window tint on my Corvette. I should point out that the shop was pretty busy at this time so I expected that I would need to make an appointment for another day. Charlie knew I was from out of town and he told me that he could have the window tint installed while he worked on the Venture Shield. A couple of hours later the Venture Shield and window tint were installed and it looked great! The staff at Bravo are professionals who are very good at what they do. My concerns were addressed immediately in a friendly manner and I am completely satisfied with the results. Great job all around! So far, I don't see anything that I can list as a con! It was great and I could continue to use exclamation marks, but I will just tell you a little about it: I can't guarantee your experience will be the same, but mine went something like this... I looked around and had prices from a few places. My coworker recommended Bravo in Wayzata, so I checked it out. The prices were better, which was nice... But how about the quality. Well, 3M is a company I can believe in, as most MN'ers should. I called on Tuesday, and they had an appt for me on Thursday! So, I took some time off of work and ran over there on Thurs, thinking I would probably be there a good three hours. I was just thinking of all the detail and time it would probably take to do my BMW 5-Series: Front windows, back windows, back quarter windows, back window... all cut to spec and in the shade and material that I chose. I was thinking of all the countless hours I had spent at the tire shop a little bit ago. So I show up and they take my car back very expediently. Charlie was the guy I spoke to. I hunkered down and pulled out my laptop to do some work. They have a decent waiting room, comfortable furniture, a TV, a minor showroom of Ducati motorcycles, and secure Wifi. Now I may be a little off, but I swear it didn't take more than an hour! I could hardly believe it. It was crazy fast, and after inspection I can see that it wasn't because of a rush job. Instructions are given on what not to do over the next 30 days, in order for it to set correctly, with the caveat that you should return if anything comes up funny looking... and they will fix it up! Awesome! I did not feel as though I were just another dollar, and I would feel comfortable returning if something were to come up awry in the future. I doubt it will though. Cheers! read more

I decided to have my boyfriends car windows tinted as a birthday present. I did some research online and of the places I found, Bravo had the most favorable reputation. I'd initially made an appointment for Wednesday morning but was unable to make it, they were very courteous and rescheduled me for Friday. We worked with Scott who was very knowledgable, he told us about the different tint options and all other relevant details. He told us that it'd take about an hour and a half to complete the work, and sure enough, in the time it took us to go have lunch, the car was done. The finished product looks great. We have a 2014 midnight blue jetta tdi with a black leather interior and the tint was definitely the touch that makes the car look much sleeker. We noticed a couple of small bubbles in the film but were informed that this was normal and that they'd evaporate as the film dried and set. A day later the bubbles were gone. Overall the tint looks amazing, we haven't noticed any imperfections. The place itself is clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and professional. We're very impressed with the quality of work they did for the price they charged us. Will definitively be back for future services, highly recommend them! read more

Not great service--don't stand behind their work..thought these guys were great--as I did two cars with them before, but apparently not. Just had my car done for $400 and within 10 days the driver door window was peeling; I called immediately and they played dumb. They knew I was moving the car to Scottsdale in 1/2 weeks and they agreed the labor /job wasn't done right as it was peeling. I called three times to give them a chance to make this right, before I took other steps, and they blew me off. The new tinter in Az said it wasn't done right and I gave them a chance to warranty the bad work or refund me 100 to cover the repair. They not only ignored my calls and my new tinters calls (twice) to remedy this, but now they refuse to cover the 100 to fix their mistake or refund me. Not good. To make it worse, one of the two owners has an attitude and felt 'put out' that I was asking them to cover this 100 repair, which was clearly their fault......Not Good. Tom read more

I need film applied to a large bathroom window in place of tempered glass. I contacted Bravo at least six times, trying to get an install appointment. The last email I had from Tom assured me that they could install within 24 to 48 hours and to wait until the bathroom was close to completion. I emailed back that I would like to set an appointment now. No Answer. After sending yet another email, I called today to remind him of his promise. He replied that he couldn't come out for at least a couple of weeks. I decided to try to find another supplier. I feel disrespected and jerked around. So much back and forth and still no service. Took the "manager" almost 5 hours to do my vehicle even dropped off early. called around 430 to see…read morewhat was going on with my vehicle got an excuse about how the tech had to redo a few windows a couple of times. ok fine I understand. would have been great to get a phone call saying that it's taking a little longer than expected. 1st red flag. was told to show up between 430 and 5pm. showed around 5 he still wasn't finished. went inside to talk to the receptionist didn't get a sorry they were acting kind of weird to be honest, like something happened. 2nd red flag. the tech finally pulled my car around. At the time I did know he was the "manager" I went outside to look at it all but the windshield had some scratches on it. Mind you I worked at a competitors shop with wraps window tinting ceramic coating you name it. I was a quality control/ product ordering manager for them. So I know what "cut" windows from tinting looks like. I went back inside still no apologies for how long it was taking nothing. the receptionist asked if everything was ok I told him what I saw a lady that was at the desk with him got up and went to get the manager. he came to the front and asked what was wrong I told him. We went out side I showed him the scratches. he said the only reason they were visible now was because of how dark the tint is. Turned around and went back inside. still no acknowledgment about how long it took or anything. I then talked to the receptionist again. He asked me if the manager took care of everything. I told him no said that nothing was wrong and it was because of the how dark the tint was. At this point the manager didn't introduce himself to a new customer acted like had done nothing wrong and look like he was more irritated about what has happened instead of taking care of the customer Mind you still no apology. I paid for a job that was half a$$3d and by the manager no less. I then left not satisfied with the work more irritated than anything. Kinda explains what took soon long with the tint. It shouldn't take but a couple of hours to do the job and by a "manager" probably less time. I'm wondering if he was trying to fix his screw up in the time. Got a text a day later asking to leave a comment about my service. Did so it was negative of course. Later that day I got another text from someone named sunny. Told them what had happened they asked if I could take pictures of the windows in doing so I had noticed now my rear passenger headrest was sitting kind of funny went to go adjust it and put it back down in doing so it came off the posts. Im now line wtf seriously not only had this guy cut up my windows he destroyed the head rest also. Before they say oh that was done previously no It actually wasnt. No body rides in the back I have no reason to move the head rest at all. Sent pictures told sunny about this crickets now they were so quick to try to help and now I was ghosted. Its Wednesday now when sunny was texting me. Gave them till Monday the 27th still no word so I texted sunny back Tuesday the 28th still nothin. So frustrated about this not on am I out 5 very expensive windows now I have to order the headrest from Germany that going to cost 500+ shipping and taxes. Thanks suncontrol first and last time going there.

I went to these guys for auto detailing because I bought a Groupon. I read the reviews of the…read morecluttered, messy interior of the business, but I had no idea. It was REALLY messy and I wondered how, if they keep their own business like this, how much attention will they pay to my detailing. Three hours later, I found out. They don't. I "only" spent $79 on this, but I have had better service from the $39 car wash in many cities in this country. This detailing was crap. How disappointed am I? Oh, let me count the ways. When I took the keys, thy told me to leave the windows and doors open for the rest of the day so the carpets could dry. When I later felt the carpets, they were soaking wet. It is now 24 hours later and they aren't dry. The rubber mats had standing water in them. A set of carpeted mats were shampooed on the BACK, not on the carpet side. The carpeting on the rear of the fold-down rear seats and on the side of the cargo area were not vacuumed, so the luggage marks are still there. The dash was wiped with some treatment liquid and it mostly looks nice and is shiny. Some places were not wiped and are still dull - so the dash and steering wheel are only partially done and would look better if they weren't done at all, so they would look consistent. Apparently, they used either a paper towel or a linty cloth towel to apply the dash treatment, since there was white lint everywhere. The leather upholstery was cleaned, but with what. There was standing dirty water in the crevices of the frontsenger seat and both back seats. There were dirty water spots (or spots of the world's thinnest wax) in several places on the paint. All indentations around the door handles were spotted. There was water flying out from the exterior mirrors when I first got to about 35 mph on the way home. When I stopped at a local McDonald's for a cup of coffee, I took my own towel and re-wiped the exterior in an attempt to actually dry the cracks and crevices and get the spots off. What ever happened to using an air hose to blow water out of cracks and crevices, then actually drying the car? Did I go back and have them work on it more? No. It was crap the first time and I don't want them near my car ever again. Oh - the good news. The gentleman who greeted me and returned my car to me was friendly and quite personable.

The guy on the phone told me that since I was using a certificate, that the appointment wasn't available and I had to wait almost two additional weeks to get in. Okay... On their website, they have some pictures of vehicles with nice, dark tint. As it turns out, they won't do a tint darker than 50%. So finally, I have my appointment and dropped my car early putting the key in the drop box with their preapproval. This was convenient but since I didn't hear from them, I wondered all day if it was ready and if they found my car. After leaving a message around 1:00 pm, I finally heard back from them at 4:30, thirty minutes before they closed and three hours later than they said. When I showed up, I was promptly ignored by the woman in the office for a full five minutes while she was chatting away on the phone. Finally, they pulled my car to the front of the building. The young man driving squeezed out of the front seat as it was moved all the way forward. He maybe didn't know that there is a button that fixes that? When I got in the car, I noticed that they did not put the rear headrests back into their little slots. Annoying but I could deal. What I couldn't deal with is the fact that I had bubbles on two of my windows. I'm too passive to deal with them about it so I went elsewhere and had it fixed. I can't say that I would go here again, even for a great deal.

She told me she walked in and the guy kind of gave her a bit of tude, she brushed it off since she has worked in customer service before and he was probably having a bad day. Immediately after we left, he called her and said "it looks like a family of scarecrows exploded in your car." In working in customer service myself, you don't make comments like that towards customers as it can put them off and make them feel ashamed and embarrassed. We all let our cars get bad sometimes, we KNOW, we're already embarrassed, you don't have to make it worse. She called him out on it and he told her to come pick up the car. So we walked in to try to have a chat with his manager on some professionalism, turns out, he's the owner, Kyle. Instead of trying to discuss anything, he just ran to the back after being called out for his unprofessionalism. Usually, I'm not the type to write reviews or even call out a crappy customer service experience, but his attitude and disrespect was just unreal. As I was considering also getting my two cars detailed here, I no longer will be.
