When it came time to transport another family member who was looking for a scheduled pickup, this was the service that I felt could do it without fuss. They were on time and they were professional and had some pretty top notch equipment to help the process go smoothly. The crew were a nice couple of guys, who were thorough in their questioning but came prepared. They were considerate enough to let me sit in the front to accompany my ailing family member, which was a pretty interesting experience to say the least. By the time they arrived at the hospital (which going from one borough to another is never an easy feat ... in traffic), they were delicate and tedious with how they handled everything. The car finally came after an hour of waiting in the cold. This is just one story. I do not recommend. Also, most of the drivers I've dealt with are ok. It's not so much the drivers (some of them are rude and are no good) the real problem is dispatch and the car company. They make the drivers pick up as many people as they can and run around in circles and make people late like I said above. The man was an almost bald black man with glasses and he had no care. I was very warned and panicked but was able to gain control. He doesn't use any blinkers and is just overall a bully on the road. This is not the type of person that should be driving and I hope this employee will learn to do better on the road. Because of their negligence, my parent has missed medical visits, been forced to wait hours with no updates, and even been turned away from appointments because they caused them to miss the scheduled slot. I have had to step in, rearrange appointments, and send my own Uber because they simply did not show. The final incident sealed it. They were scheduled to pick up my parent and never came. Forty five minutes past pickup we were told they had no driver and were still "locating one." They never called back. Hours later, for the return trip, they still had no driver. This level of carelessness is unacceptable for anyone, especially individuals with medical needs who depend on reliable transportation. This review comes from both a personal and professional standpoint. I work in communications within the healthcare field. Reliability and transparency matter. Communication matters. Professionalism matters. This company consistently demonstrates the opposite. Their Yelp rating under two stars already reflects these issues. Their pattern of rude and defensive replies to customer reviews on Google supports it too. I have attached their response to my Google review for anyone who needs further proof of how they speak to the very patients they are supposed to serve.
