Braxton Brewing at CVG - A Hidden Gem for Great Beer & Birria Tacos If you're passing through CVG and looking for a solid bite and a great drink, Braxton Brewing is the place to stop. While they're known for their craft beers, the real star of the menu is their birria tacos--hands down the best I've had at an airport (or anywhere, really). The trio dip is amazing as well. The tacos are packed with flavorful, tender beef, perfectly crispy on the outside, and served with a rich, savory consommé for dipping. They're juicy, well-seasoned, and pair amazingly with one of Braxton's locally brewed beers. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great spot to unwind before a flight. Service is quick and friendly, which is a huge plus when you're on the go. Whether you're a craft beer fan or just looking for a top-tier meal at CVG, Braxton Brewing is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, friendly and amenable staff, and delicious Braxton beer... what more could anyone want?! The salsa is delicious. The al pastor taco is unique and satisfying. I could sit here all day and eat chips and drink beer... but I have a plane to catch! Thanks, BBC for another great meal.

Many TVs with the game on and on silent. Great music playing. Classic rock and roll. I got a fish taco, a taco Al Pasteur, and the queso and chips. Chips needed salt. Queso ok. Fish taco had little fish but lots of guacamole and sour cream (had some with my chips). Al Pasteur tasty. Service excellent. Good place to stop if near your gate.

Was not expecting this. Phenomenal. Quesadilla was very tasty and flavorful and the chip trio was fresh. Salsa was fresh and partially roasted. Service was great and loved the seating

Delightful experience all around! We had a couple of hours before our flight and wanted good food. Braxton did not disappoint. I had a chance to try many of the tacos. The Whiskey River and the chimmy-chimmi-ya were my favorites! They are small street tacos, but fairly priced for an airport and delicious! Our server, Beverly, provided excellent recommendations and friendly service throughout. She made a good time even better. Great space for waiting and TVs with basketball playing kept us occupied. I would go out of my way to visit again.

    Chips and salsa. Veggie quesadilla

The salsa is to die for. You can taste the roasted tomatoes (mild to medium heat for me)Veggie quesadilla with beans, corn and tomatoes. The green sauce has a hint of sweetness.

The tiniest taco I've ever been served. Missing most of the ingredients.

We were excited to try this place, especially with such limited options around, but we left disappointed. No one greets you so it's not clear whether you seat yourself or just wait. Once we ordered, our appetizer (the dip trio) came out within seconds. The Queso had a film over it, the guacamole wasn't real avocado (like a paste), and the chips were stale. It was clear that it had been sitting there for some time. I ordered the two taco combo and my spouse ordered the Birria. Let me say that if you are in the least bit hungry, DO NOT ORDER THE TACOS. They were literally the smallest tacos I've ever had, with no trace of anything that the menu said would be on it like lime crema, etc. it was about a tablespoon of shredded chicken and a few specks of cilantro. The birria was slightly more substantial but not much. The black beans were the worst I've ever had. They literally tasted straight out of a can with no seasoning whatsoever. I added a teaspoon of hot sauce and some shakes of salt and they were barely edible. We went our entire dinner without any water or beverages because our waitress forgot them. I had to flag down the other waitress at the end of our meal and she graciously brought us some and said "I think she forgot you." We had no silverware until we chased down the server as well. There was only two other tables taken, so they were "just busy". It was pure laziness and it was clear that the server had better things to do than serve. For the expense of $16 for three TINY 3" tacos with no filling, I would never recommend this place. Within an hour, we were on our flight ordering a meal because we were still hungry - and we are light eaters. Do not recommend! Adding one star for the server who did care.

Best food we've had in an airport! I ordered a quesadilla and my mom had sliders. We also enjoyed having a good conversation with the staff.

Don't go to Moerlein... cross over the aisle to Braxton. Better service, better beer, better food. Glad this is open at CVG!

They actually even still host weddings at the brewery, which is pretty cool. There are also other items around there brewery, like the beer can wall that show much of Cincinnati's brewing history. They often have music acts, trivia, singo, and more at the brewery as well, which makes for a nice and entertaining evening. You can also choose to sit inside the brewery or outside in either front or back of the brewery. To make it better, dogs are always welcome! The staff is super friendly and they host a running club at Fernbank Park and throughout Sayler Park. They are avidly involved in the community and you can tell they really have a passion for area... and for beer! Which brings me to my next point. The beer, of course! They have some really unique and delicious brews down here that are wonderfully named after the area in which they a brewed, again paying homage to the rich history of the area. Think Lock & Dam, Wedding Day, and Fernbank. I grew up in Sayler Park on Fernbank Avenue, so I really enjoy their pride in the area and their love for Sayler Park. If you're hungry they also have Incline Smoke Shack there every day ready to serve wings, sandwiches, appetizers, and more. The food is fantastic and they often times have deals such as $10 for a pound of wings and a beer. I also have to comment on how responsible and safe they have been during the pandemic. When things first locked down for the pandemic, we would go down to 13 Below to get growlers filled and they were always extremely safe and cleanly, more so than any other place we went to. Since things have opened back up they have continued to serve our wonderful little community with health and safety as one of their very most important priorities. If you haven't visited 13 Below yet, you really should! Grab a beer, grab a seat, and enjoy the evening.

If you're leaving the…read morestadium area it's a 20 minute walk with some uphill, but well worth the trek to get ahead of the crowds. The bars near the stadium were mobbed. The seating is family style with long tables. You can order via QR codes (meh) or walk up to the side of the bar for food and drink. The manager came around and introduced himself to everyone and was all over the place. Helping in the kitchen, bar, cleaning up etc.. He's definitely an asset because he didn't disappear as the rush started coming in. The inside is nicely decorated and I was digging their Voodoo/skull theme. We settled in and watched the 4pm NFL game on one of the large TV's while chatting with some disappointed Bengals fans and locals. Beer wise they had a nice selection of classic Voodoo brews (we used to get them a lot in the Philly area several years ago), a balance of styles and some newer brews I'd never heard of. If you enjoy the dark side of beer the Where Our Secrets Go Imperial Stout was delicious and thankfully more along the lines of the traditional style Impy Stout. I had an IPA that I can't remember the name of, but it had a nice Belgian yeast/hop twist to it. My son enjoyed their root beer. Food wise the Jumbo Chicken Wings, roasted in house hit the spot, I highly recommend them. I added their Good Vibes BBQ "Sawce", but you can get them dry rubbed or chose from several other "Sawces". The wings were big with fresh meat and the sauce was great. The Pub pretzel we ordered was huge and the good vibes beer cheese complimented it well. The Mr. Pickles Fried Pickles were also a great choice for an app. They were a big portion. My friend had the Chili Mac and my son ordered the Lil Mashburgers - 2 little smashburgers oozing with cheddar & chippies off the kids menu. We ate, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo before we explored more of downtown Cincy. I'll be honest I wanted to avoid BrewDog and Voodoo and experience home grown Cincinnati breweries, but we were really happy we stopped at Voodoo. Thanks guys you earned a fourth star for great friendly service from the manager and bartenders!!

We ordered extra hot wings, and the sauce was great but to make it "extra hot" they just added a metric ton of hot pepper or some hot seasoning, and it was nearly inedible. They were extremely over sauced. The fries were okay. My dry rub wings were good. It's basically self serve, you order on the website via QR code. They brought our food all at once due to that, to include the appetizer. Service was quick but we only saw our "waiter" once to deliver our food. If we had needed refills, we wouldn't have gotten them. We didn't even get silverware and only got one appetizer plate. The ambiance was nice, it's a great looking facility. I probably won't be back though, unfortunately. Just not great enough to bother going again. We did have one beer off the draft list that was good. The dragons milk.

The layout was pretty typical for them albeit on a smaller scale than their locations in Las Vegas and Columbus. Several bar areas, a gaming mezzanine, couches, art on the walls and a roof deck (wasn't open when we visited). The large L shaped bar was clean and manned by a nice fellow. We headed up to the mezzanine and played some games while watching the 4pm game on their big screens. Food wise - we didn't eat here, but I can tell you from past BrewDog experiences their wings are always on point. Beer wise - They had a good mix on their 24 or so taps - IPA/Pale Ales (8 on tap), ciders (4), stouts & dark beers (3), lagers & pilsner (2), sour & fruit-based (2) and five beers for a community beer festival that was running that weekend. $1 of every pint poured went to charity. I had a Winter Staycation at 7.5% - our seasonal stout that brings rich pecan and sweet toffee flavors right to your glass. Every sip is a warming blend of nostalgia and bold flavors, crafted to remind you of the comforts of the season. If you loved last year's cozy winter release, this one's sure to feel right at home. It was average with sweet pecan flavors, caramel, vanilla, toffee and tasted malts. Drank like a porter. It was OK which is what most of their beers are. Just above average in my humble opinion. From my experiences between BrewDog and Voodoo, it seems the outsiders are better options than the local breweries (except Northern Row they were good) in Cincinnati. Can't go wrong with visiting this BrewDog. Thanks guys!
