My friend Millie has lived here since 2016, and I've been visiting her as often as possible since…read moreher arrival. Millie loves living here and I can see why. Her room is impeccable and comfortable. The staff is friendly, protective of their residents, and professional. Other residents are friendly and welcoming. The facility is well maintained, and attractive. The library is well stocked with books for every kind of reader. The chapel is lovely, too. Before CoVid, we dined together in the dining room on the second floor. The attendants were gracious and efficient. The food was very good - not highly seasoned, so delicate stomachs good eat heartily. The menu was varied, with regular items, too. During our meals, someone would get on the microphone with celebratory messages, upcoming events, and news about the community. During the first 8 months of CoVid, I did not see Millie. We talked frequently on the phone. She did not like the confinement, but praised the staff for their handling of meals and how everything was kept clean & safe. When visitors were finally permitted, in November, I came to see her - temperature checked, mask on and 6 feet apart for 20-30 minutes. Now, after both of us have been vaccinated, and a year later, we were able to visit outside, still masked, but sitting close to each other. After our visit, we exchanged farewell hugs. This is a beautiful place to live and visit. I'm always impressed with how clean and well maintained it looks when I drive up, and how lovely it is inside, too. The staff and residents are lovely, too!

Words cannot express my appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Vitality Living…read moreHudson. We moved our mother to the facility (then, Windsor Woods) in July of 2020 and she remained for 4.5 years. I visited frequently, usually for several hours each visit. I highly valued the facility, itself, and actually witnessed a compete building remodel of the common areas in the summer of 2023. The daily activities, food, and services offered were beyond expectation. The staff, of course, is the key to any successful business, particularly elderly care facilities. Over the past 4.5 years, I met and truly cherished a plethora of amazing people, on staff. Med Tech Annie Lambert was beloved by Mom and truly went above-and-beyond her job description and duties in caring for her. She is priceless and will be sorely missed. Director of Wellness Bernice S. was the consummate professional that was always thorough, thoughtful, responsive, understanding and reliable. Bernice is the cornerstone of the community. Wellness Supervisor Lisa L. was so appreciated for her thoughtfulness, attention-to-detail, responsiveness, and could be relied upon to answer any and all questions. Both Bernice and Lisa maintained continual communication with me regarding Mom's health, medication, general well-being, and more. Staff members that made an enormous positive impact on me in their level of kindness, professionalism, generosity, empathy and personalized attention include Med Tech MaryEllen H., LPN Kai, Activities Director Johnathon T., Driver Kenneth, Cook Kim, Housekeeper Linda, Concierge Lee, Concierge Lynn, Community Business Director Terri C.S., and, of course, Executive Director Lara K. Thank you all. The facility and amazing group of employees were truly a blessing and I highly recommend Vitality Living Hudson.

When I first toured Vitality Living Hudson, I was convinced I had found the right place for my…read moremother. The facility is beautiful, welcoming, and the staff I met seemed caring, professional, and genuinely invested in residents. I left feeling relieved and hopeful during an incredibly stressful time. Unfortunately, everything fell apart after I paid the deposit. Communication became nearly nonexistent. Days would go by without updates, and the assessment I was told would take place never happened. Instead, the assessor, Bernice, apparently contacted my mother's rehabilitation facility and asked the social worker for her cognitive score. According to the social worker, when she provided the information, Bernice's response was simply that my mother "seemed like a better fit for Memory Care." What makes this especially frustrating is that the rehab social worker specifically stated that my mother was relatively independent, was not a flight risk, did not require personal care assistance, and primarily needed medication management. No one from Vitality ever called me to discuss concerns, ask questions, or explain, or even tell me their decision! In fact, I learned that my mother had been declined only when the rehab social worker called to provide my mother's discharge date and asked where she should be discharged. When I explained that I was waiting for Vitality Hudson to complete its assessment, she informed me that Vitality had already declined my mother. Imagine the panic and anxiety of learning, from a third party, that I needed to start the entire assisted living search over again--from 1,500 miles away--with only one week's notice before my mother's discharge. I immediately left a voicemail for Kyle, the sales representative I had been working with. Throughout the process, he seemed kind, responsive, and competent. However, four days have passed since that message, and I still have not heard from anyone at Vitality. What saddens me most is not that Vitality determined they were not the right fit for my mother. That is their decision to make. What is disappointing is the complete lack of communication, follow-through, and basic courtesy during an already difficult family situation. If someone as persistent and organized as I am can fall through the cracks, I worry about what might happen to a vulnerable loved one in their care. Sometimes blessings come in unexpected ways.

To move things along…read more We had no problems with the staff, medical or otherwise. They were all polite and courteous. Took care to know our names. That's impressive, large numbers of families. However, the 3 represents the greed, the bait and switch tactics and sheer temerity to even make the claim, they've claimed. Originally, when we first visited, the apartment was beautiful. Greatly updated, and pristine. Problem for Mom, was she preferred the ground floor. Our tour guide , whose name I can't recall, said they had a ground floor, but it hadn't yet been updated. We arrived at the next apartment, and it most certainly was NOT updated. This had high traffic carpeting. Updated rooms had faux wooden floors. One thing you could not miss in this particular apartment, was the huge brown stain in the middle of the living room. The tour guide said they would replace the rug before Mom moved in, but Mom, said to leave it, she preferred carpeting. So, Mom moves in, puts a coffee table over the stain until they clean it. Which they tried, but this stain had been there a while. Fast forward. Mom's needs moved to an ALF, assisted living facility. She's not even in Embassy one year, but , no problem. They understand this had. Mom moves out. A few months after leaving Embassy, Mom gets a bill from Embassy. She has to pay for a new carpet because her dog or cat left urine. $1500.00 from her, for a carpet they were going to replace, anyway. They are doing everything they can, in accounts receivable, to shave a few bucks off their expenses by hitting up an 87 year old widow, with cognitive impairment, for a carpet that was filthy to start, and was going to be replaced, anyway. No, and no. Allan Love

Hay, you out there wanting to retire in Florida take it from me a war time disabled veteran please…read moredo not be a real stupid and come here to Grand Villa in Newport Richey Fl because the feelings I get from the staff who are mostly way overweight are Prison guards the only thing is there is no bars on the windows. This is a very sick, sick place. The food is getting very little the help quite regularly the rooms are small and the cost is very high. You have to wait sometimes when most times the two elevators are broken and only four wheel chairs walker older folks want to either go to lunch or go to their paid rooms. The building is five stories and I actually feel like as a prisoner at age 77 so so so many rules and more made up rules. I am and never have felt anger in my whole life but being at this Grand Villa is a night mare bad. Please, do not think of wasting your hard earned money here at Grand?#$@ Villa.
