Shortly after my daughters braces were removed, within less than 6 months, we noticed her draw was becoming crooked. We followed up with them and they stated that it could be genetics as to why the jaw was crooked. Our dentist confirmed the crooked appearance but works not confirm the reason being genetics. After consulting a surgeon for Orthognathic surgery, her jaw placement as seen in X-rays is fine and properly aligned within the socket. We were told the crookedness is due to her cross bite. We were thinking the cross bite resulted from her crooked jaw, but now we can't feel that throughout her Orthodontic treatment and the couple issues we encountered with her bite being off consistently during that process, their tricks to keep her on track: used a glue/lift to balance her bite was a failed attempt to properly address and fix the issue. I'd like to know how many other patients experienced a crooked jaw and were told the same thing-it was generic and not as a result of their expedited, self made hardware. Needless to say, there will be more consultations scheduled with any other office but Tenbrooks.

My lips are thinner I look older and I look horrible in every photo that I take. I guess extracting teeth was easier for the plan than recommending back implants. A choice I have regretted for years. I am still looking for anyone that can help me get my smile back. This place is amazing for children but Adults should get a second opinion before making drastic irreversible decisions.

After doing a little research, I came across a mouth device, called Thornton Adjustable Positioner, (TAP 3), which is a mouth device much like an Invisalign. The next step would be to figure out which orthodontist would offer the device. I made an appointment to see Dr. Iyer at Dr. Segal and Iyer Orthodontics, located at 501 NJ - 73 #202 Marlton New Jersey. I can honestly say I've never been to a facility more organized, and with 21st-century technology. Dr. Iyer was extremely amazing! She was able to sit with me and educate me on exactly how the device worked and how it's going to benefit my sleep habits. I will definitely recommend anyone with sleep apnea or any orthodontic issues to see Dr. Iyer. You will not be disappointed. Didn't explain all the risks associated with a dental implant procedure, lack of long term data and that most people experience some sort of complications at some point later in life after having an implant. I now have to deal with a missing tooth, and all because he does not want to treat your teeth, he just wants to place implants. Run from this office. Sooner or later you will be sold and implant as a panacea for all your problems.

I had braces when I was a kid, but 30 years later, I was in need of some straightening. I opted for traditional braces on the bottom teeth since that's where I needed the most work and Invisalign on the top.
