I got a Brazilian wax from Pollyanna recently and it was not a good experience at all. She didn't really talk to me through the entire process. She would be very irritated when I moved at all during my wax, as I haven't been to one in a long time. Additionally, I told her the wax was too hot for me and proceeded to ignore me. At the end of the wax, she left my front and back end covered in wax residue. I've been going here for almost the past 3 years now. They are wonderful. They need to be an essential service. Having to shave for the past two months was killer. There service is quick and the staff is friendly. Priscilla does a wonderful job. She makes your feel like family and does a great job waxing. I do full body waxes and it can be very sensitive in special areas but she makes the pain feel close to nothing. Will be going for years to come. I call ahead and schedule appointments just because it can be busy with holidays and summertime. Also full body takes about 45mins-1 hour. I really wanted to like this place and I gave them several attempts with many different providers but every time there was issues. Either my hair was being broken and not pulled from the root (when it was plenty grown out enough approx 3-4 weeks) or the girls would miss patches of hair on my Brazilian. The reason for two stars is that they always ran on time for their appointments but unfortunately, that may be part of the issue as well is they are not given enough allotted time to do a proper job. I feel like this place could be really good if they gave the girls about 5-10 minutes extra for Brazilian waxing so they didn't rush through it and could do proper detail work and probably a bit more training as well couldn't hurt by the higher ups. Because of their many locations, it seemingly quantity over quality :( I got so tired of having hair grow back days later or having to go through painstakingly with tweezers and do a massive clean up job after I just paid all this money lol. I went here for my first Brazilian Wax. I was incredibly nervous that by the time I was laying on the table I was shaking. Lina did my wax and was absolutely wonderful. I was very surprised at the lack of pain from the waxing. It was nothing like what I expected and was very doable. While this was my first Brazilian, it was obvious that Lina was experienced and knew what she was doing. It only took her about 10 minutes, which was impressive to me, considering it wasn't really painful and, after inspection, was completely hair free. I would definitely recommend this place if you're considering a Brazilian and would definitely recommend trying it at least once. I, for sure, will continue to get Brazilian waxes from now on. Stumbled on this location on a Starbucks run!! I've been a loyal customer at their Alpharetta location for over a year, so imagine my delight when I discovered this place less than 2 miles from my house!!! Bruna is a wonderful esthetician. The facility is clean, tastefully done and has a relaxing atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable and the service is amazing!! Update: 4/10/2015, four months after my first visit I started getting my face waxed here, and for the first time in my life, my face is breaking out like crazy. I have clear skin and have never had breakout issues and I don't wear make up everyday. A friend told me that Andreia's re-uses their wax, I'm not sure about that, but the esthetician clearly didn't do a great job. The first time it happened, I didn't think too much about it, and the next time I went there for my appointment, I explained to the lady about my problem. She blamed it on my skin type and said the only way was to stop waxing my face. She walked me through what to expect step by step and I have to say, it wasn't nearly as bad as I had made it out to be in my head. She also gave me great after care instructions. I went in for an upperlip and eyebrow wax but told them to go very easy around the eyebrows because I have been trying to grow them out to get a better shape. The lady who did my wax took half my eyebrows off and took the ends almost completely off. She also left wax all over my face. This will be my last time visiting this salon especially considering I will have to grow my eyebrows back for at least a month and fill in my eyebrows for the next three months. If your prices have increased that's fine, but if your website doesn't reflect that you should honor the price that you're advertising and not respond with a nasty attitude.
