So, I was in desperate need of a Brazilian Wax! I love coming to B. W. By Andreia bc they are always nice, clean, efficient, and the customer service is always lovely. I have previously been to two other locations, Conyers and Midtown. The Mcdonough location is closest to me. The receptionist was very sweet! She offered to schedule me an appointment at 3 but i was looking for something earlier and she made it happen. I experienced a gps mishap. Make sure to type in "Beauty Wax Center" in Waze if thats the gps program you're using. After reading reviews, I requested Stephanie and she was nothing less than absolutely amazing! I must say the reviews about Stephanie did not disappoint! The salon was very nice, the aesthetics were beautiful (the gold was a very nice touch!!) The restroom was very clean, the hallway earring to the restroom was clean as well. The room where my services were performed was clean, had a nice amount of space and I felt very comfortable. I explained my concerns about using was to Stephanie (I normally get sugared) and she was very knowledgeable and respectful towards my feelings. She thoroughly explained her process, she very carefully and strategically applied the wax and began my services. She was so wuick, I was shocked!! My usual was out so I took a recommendation to book with Rose. Biggest mistake ever. I should have followed my gut and waited...no! It felt as if she was making the wax warmer with each pass. Then without any warning she rips the wax off. I'm 43yrs young and I have NEVER felt what I felt. It was as if she had ripped my entire eyelid off. Come to find out she DID. Then she proceeded to move extremely fast. I couldn't believe this was happening I was in immovable shock. When she was done, I pointed it out to her and she stated, oh I noticed it too. So you did this on purpose?? As I go to receptionist and point out the issue, she says "just put some aloe on it"! read more

Visited on recommendation of a friend... she told me to select Grazi as the wax specialist. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The lobby is clean but very plain. Lacks the decor and warmth that I've seen visiting other salons. I made An appointment online and was seen promptly. Grazi is very welcoming and engaging. She walks you through every step Along the way and makes sure you are comfortable. Her work area is clean and she is very professional. Oh how I have missed Mariana and her amazing Brazilian wax skills. The experience was a great one as usual. This location has been purchased by Andreia. I was a regular at her midtown Brazilian wax location before moving to McDonough. The staff shared that beginning January 1st, this location will close for a few weeks for renovations. I'm super excited to see how she transforms the space to her signature pink, black and white decor with chandeliers. The price will increase from $35 to $45 for the Brazilian in 2022. All in all I look forward to the change and the class her establishment may bring south of Atlanta. read more

I have been going to this place for several years even with the old owner. The receptionist Selena is very nice and great about helping me schedule or reschedule my appointments if there is a change in someone's schedule. I usually go to Stephanie who is amazing but she was unavailable. So I was nervous to schedule with someone else but I leaped out on faith and tried Rae and I was ecstatic I did. She was exceptional in making me feel comfortable and has a great personality. She even gave me suggestions for post Brazilian care due to my skin being sensitive and it truly made me feel like she cared. Rae and Stephanie are a keeper. I love them. read more

She held a good conversation while taking her time to make sure i was real smooth and bald in there. I was referred to this place and was a little skeptical but went for it anyway. The place is fairly new and there wasn't much decor inside. I had an appt with Daisy and she was AWESOME!! She's super knowledgeable and took her time with me. I have a skin condition and sometimes I'm self conscious about it but she's extremely understanding and I never feel like I'm being judged. She was also very personable and in 2 weeks she will have sugaring!!! This place is located across the street from Kohls in a shopping center next to Hardee's. Give her a try. I was nervous about getting waxed down below after not being able to go in so long due to Covid. I walked into the wax center without making an appointment but I was able to get a same day service appointment with Mariana. I had to wait about 30 minutes but that was cool with me! My technician was Mariana and she walked out to get me right on time as scheduled. She was very friendly and very professional. I was nervous as we started but Mariana was so quick that I didn't even have time to feel any pain! This was the best wax technician I've ever been visited. Mariana was quick n effective! I am an educated and professional woman who has been going to get waxed at the Beauty Wax center (McDonough exit 218) for the past 4+ years. I received a full body wax, paid for the service and left a tip. The owner, Rose, processed my credit card payment. I pulled out my loyalty card and asked her to stamp it. She looked at it and said " you have services from 2019". I said "I had services in 2020 and 2021 here but that must be on my other loyalty card." I picked back up the loyalty card and started fumbling through my wallet to find the other card. I found the second card and told her that I did have services over the last year too marked on the second card. Rose, the owner, snatched both cards out of my hand and yelled "WHY DO YOU HAVE TWO CARDS? YOU SHOULD HAVE FILLED THIS UP WITHIN ONE YEAR." Rose ripped up my card that had 2019 stamps and threw in the trash. She signed the other card and yelled "YOU USE THIS ONE THIS YEAR!" I was upset. I asked "why did you rip up my card and where was that policy in writing about having to fill up the card in 1 year to receive $5 off of your service? The policy is not on card and it's not posted. When did the policy change? You ripped up my card and that's incredibly rude and disrespectful. Where is the owner or manager? I want to speak with them." Rose yelled, "YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU GET OUT AND I CALL THE POLICE ON YOU. I AM OWNER AND I TOLD YOU THE POLICY CHANGE". I told her that was fine "call the police, because I have not done anything wrong. My issue is that you ripped up my card, started yelling at me and was arbitrarily enforcing a policy that was not written anywhere." Other employees and the receptionist came to the front and I asked them did they know about a policy change where you had to receive all services within one year to receive $5 off? Each one said no, they had not heard of a new policy change. Long story short... like stated at the beginning of this review, I am an educated and professional woman. I felt embarrassed, humiliated and marginalized. I did not curse or become aggressive. However, I did question that rules were arbitrarily changed. To have the owner snatch my loyalty card out of my hand, rip it up, start yelling at me and call the police over $5 off once per year...I didn't deserve that. My family and friends have supported Rose and her business for 4+ years. I deserve to be treated with respect. You don't have to worry about me, my family or friends returning. read more
