This place a a stable especially for there breakfast items. Not enough people rave about this small business and it is indeed a good one. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We always come of course for the cafecito, but their sandwiches are delicious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We always go with the Rakata Sandwich which consist of five croquettas, fried cheese, serrano ham, juliana fries and a salasa aioli, but everything on this menu is definitely something to give a try. Even their pastelitos don't disappoint. And one of the star of the shows is their Jack Daniels cake. This place has everything you need including party packages. Definitely mornings and weekends are busy but the service is fast the ladies taking your orders are very polite are quick to take orders so the line moves fast. If you are ever in the area give it a try definitely will not disappoint.

So I heard this place from a tik toker I seen she had eaten this mix dessert of arroz con leche and flan I couldn't go in because my foot injured and it was raining so my sis got it for me omg this dessert is amazing I need to go back when I'm better

Great Cake! It was the highlight of the party! Everyone was very impressed with the uniqueness of the cake. The cake was sweet custard inside, moist, and well made. The croquettas were just the right amount of saltiness that it didn't class with the cake. We cut the cake with the croquettas on it. Be careful with the toothpicks holding the croquettas in the cake if you decide to cut it with the croquettas attached.

Pros: YUM! Their pastelitos are some of the best in town, their cakes are EXCELLENT, their cafe delightful. Get there early, stuff runs out! Plenty of parking and seating, service is friendly, but know what you wanna order so you don't slow down the line. Cons: no spinach empanadas, I know, it's not traditional, but most Cuban bakeries have them and I really want them to make them!

I came here for the Cuban sandwich, but fell in love with the creative desserts. For those of you who grew up Cuban, you'll recognize the names of most of the traditional desserts here -- torrejas, panetela borracha, capuchino, etc. However, they're also playing around with those classics and mixing things up with things like "Ño, Alabao (as in the Cuban expression "Alabao sea Dios", which roughly translates into English as "Holy sh**"), etc. Funny, yes, but also amazing desserts that mix things like Cuban style Crème Brûlée with a moist cake underneath. They just work--try them. Back to the Cuban sandwich. If you say, yes, to them putting everything on it, you'll get a sandwich that is overwhelmed with mayo and mustard. I'd recommend at least asking for it with light mayo and mustard, unless that's your thing. I asked for it without mayo and light on the mustard. The ham is nothing special. It's just square-cut processed ham. Also, there was barely any pork, just once slice. The pork was fine, but there was nothing particularly great about it. All that said, the real star of this sandwich is the bread. The bread was at least a 9/10. It was crunchy, light and soft, with a terrific flavor. Get this sandwich for the bread--the rest of the ingredients were a 5/10.

Breadman in Hialeah is great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe con leche was very good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their homemade chicken croquetas were very tasty. They have a pizza version of a pastelito that was delicious. The ladies working behind the counter were very nice and helpful.

This bakery was a short walk from our hotel so my Sister and I decided to check it out! They heave beautiful displays of a variety of pastries and delicacies. Their cakes are absolutely stunning and we intentionally sat near the register so we could watch as people picked up their festive layers of cake! We ordered the three different kinds of empanadas - ham and cheese, chicken, and beef. They were all super tasty, the chicken one was a bit dry but still flakey and good nonetheless. We also ordered a guava and mango shake that came out super quickly that we were able to use to stay cool on our way back!

Croqueta cake? Croqueta cake!!!!! This bakery has managed to make a cake of my favorite thing to eat - croquetas!!!!! And let me tell you - the croquetas in this bakery are the best in Miami!!! Vicky bakery move to the side!! The only croquetas that are comparable are isla canarias - I need to try them side by side. The empanadas are also amazing here!! They make them all fresh here (and the croquetas). No frozen food here!!! Only thing is that I think it's pretty pricey for a bakery but for the quality and taste of the food, I think it's worth it. And it's 2 min from my house. I will keep on coming here!

This place was crazy busy in a Sat AM full of locals but the staff is super efficient and super helpful. Customers were coming to get pre orders for large parties at the counter on the end (also the pastry counter) enter at the door on the right. The left is for mela orders. Don't be scared off by busy parking lot this place is ran like a machine. We loved every thing we e tried. My hubby is Puerto Rican and this place reminded him so much of home. The Cuban bread they make is enormous amd as a result so are the sandwiches made with their signature bread. Each sandwich is for 2 average people. My husband said that his Cordatito was the most perfectly balanced espresso of his life. The coffee to milk to sugar recipe ratio was made to the standards of the shop. Stop in today!! There menu states they specialize in catering orders.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon for some pastalitos. All in all, they were good. Not my favorite in the area but worth a try.

Great sandwiches and delicious pastelitos. Service was great. The only thing I really don't like is the lack of parking.

Located right outside of Westland Mall facing the parking lot next to H & M…read more Lots to look at and admire. Loved the lighting fixtures and the murals on the walls. Great music and friendly staff. What we ordered- Croquetas 10/10 - Soft creamy inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Drizzled with a aioli style sauce. (In my opinion)the croquetas were so good they didn't need any sauce. Churassco w/ white rice, black beans and plantains 10/10 ohh this is everything a churassco should be. Juicy, tender and cooked full of so much flavor. The rice was perfect not sticky just perfectly fluffy and not oily and the beans are exactly what I always hope to be served at any Cuban restaurant. Absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor. I mean if they told me Abuela had made them I would totally believe it. Chefs kiss The hubs ordered the Picanha with morro rice and plantains 10/10 No crumbs or grains of rice was left on his plate! Absolutely delicious Needless to say this place is an absolute must! Definitely will be back

I came by their new location in Westland Mall today since I was shopping and I was hungry. However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.

Great place to stop for a quick bite on a beach day or when you're not feeling up for a full meal…read more Sandwiches are large and taste great! Plenty of customization options. A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. You're better off getting a sandwich (again, as this was my 2nd visit) or going somewhere else for a smoothie.

Just one block away from South Beach on 14th Street, this place is a very popular fast food spot…read more Since South Beach restaurants are either expensive (20% gratuity even for a party of two) or extremely crowded, we walked one block inland and found this place. From a distance, it looks like a food truck, but it's actually a full setup designed to look that way. Even in the scorching heat, there was a line--but it moved quickly. Their menu has everything. Think of it as a Subway style setup, but with smoothies, tropical ingredients, and lots of fresh options. Now the main part...We ordered- Chicken Mix Baguette Tuna Baguette Am I the only one who found it just okay? At Subway, at least they toast the bread for a bit. Here, I genuinely struggled with the hard bread--it was tough to chew. Also, the meats were cold, which I'm not used to. I knew that beforehand, but still wanted to try this hyped spot. They have about 5-7 bar style stools for seating, but in the humidity, it's not the most comfortable experience. Freshness (smoothies & ingredients): 5/5 Overall taste & experience: 3/5 Or maybe we're just spoiled by the big fast food chains?
