Wonderful new studio with energetic and knowledgeable staff…read more Conveniently located near REI and Hazels you have no excuse not to drop in to check this spot out. Parking is plentiful and classes run all day long. Reserve your class ahead online or via their app. When you arrive just check in at the front desk. Stow your items safely in the lockers out front or stow them in a cubby near the restrooms. Don't worry abut filling your water bottle up at home - they have two filtered water fountains. Studio is large, clean and has super fun lights. Workouts are friendly for folks no matter where they're at. Treadmills are gentle on the joints and smart (you can link your Apple Watch up to them for workout tracking purposes). While the coach leads you on your workout journey you choose if you want to walk, jog, run, or sprint. I'm working through a few injuries and it was easy to accommodate the workout by lowering the incline or decreasing the speed when I needed to. If you enjoy data you can wear a heart rate monitor. Values will display up on the screen so you and the coach can track your exertion. Showers and towels make it friendly before or during work. Highly recommend checking them out. Wanna get an amazing founders membership rate? Head on in for a free class this week (up through Thursday) or reach out to them via Instagram.

Alchemy has given me access to amazing dance, exercise, strength (both physical and emotional), increased confidence as a dancer and a human, experiences that have helped me tap into my own creativity, and some of my absolute favorite people whom I would be lost without. I want to give a special shout out to the owner, Ashley Patchen. She is one of the kindest, most driven, tenacious, hardworking, creative, silly, amazing people I know. Her vision for the studio is what has made Alchemy what it is today, and for that I am eternally grateful

Every instructor and Ashley, the owner, are super friendly and they put you at ease when you step into the studio. You can tell that this isn't a typical fitness or dance studio where you come and go and don't get a chance to meet anyone. This is family and a MOVEMENT with a BIG MISSIOn that inspires everyone to be themselves, to express their unique quirks and personalities through movement and that you don't have to be a dancer or professionally trained at all in order to feel amazing about yourself and most importantly to just have fun!!! Thank you for creating this sanctuary, Ashley and thank to every instructor and member to contributing to the energy of this place.

She is an incredible intuitive *and* academic healer, with a true gift for assessing inefficiencies and then creating exercises to correct them. I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly and welcoming the staff was when I came in to get information and was really looking forward to taking class. With that said, the following day I took a pilates reformer class and although it was fine it wasn't a traditional class like I expected. The reformers are old and to do side lying leg series and bridge, the instructor passed out throw pillows for us to lay on which I found a bit strange. Only about 50% of the time did the instructor queue with pilates terminology and it didn't seem like there really was a "flow" to the class. Seeing as it was a holiday week, the instructor kept leaving the pilates area to go to the front desk and help customers which I found frustrating and distracting. I do realize that Body Dynamics is geared towards an older crowd who may not be as familiar with traditional pilates but everyone should expect to get their moneys worth no matter what age. Am I glad I went? Sure! But for $22 a class, I would expect a little more...

People there are friendly and welcoming but still serious about getting better, they take their training seriously but it's a relaxed vibe. The instructors are wonderful, very professional yet personable. High level techniques being shared here. With soo much experience on the mats you have lots of different Jiu-Jitsu styles to choose from. The amenities are exceptional. Nice clean bathrooms, changing rooms and showers. The front desk people are always smiling and helpful when you come in the door. While I haven't gotten to train the striking classes as I primarily train Jiu-Jitsu , they look like a lot of fun and they are training very hard with solid technique. They have lots of quality mat spaces for grappling and striking as well as workout equipment. There are many classes for people to choose from. Giving the most flexibility I have ever seen at a gym. Add in the elevation and the location of a beautiful mountain city, this is one of the best places to train in the country. I highly recommend the gym.
