UPDATE： Now that I have been training with Cedric for 1.5 yrs and have reached a higher level of fitness, I realized that training with Cedric goes way beyond just weight losing. He not only helped me to get my health back, to get to the weight I wanted, but also made me realized that I am stronger than what I think. He taught me a breathing technique that allowed me to run better and faster; I used to be out of breath after a sprint, but with the technique he taught me, I could recover my breath and slow my heart rate down within seconds. I also started Mui Thai 2 month ago. Even though there were setbacks and bruises along the way, now I can throw good kicks and combinations, and I enjoy doing it very much. At 34 years old, Cedric has gotten me into the best shape of my life. He is hands down the best trainer I've ever had and throughout the process has become one of my closest friends. In 3-4 months, I went from 187 to 151 lbs, lost 5 inches off my waist line, went from 28% body fat to 18% and achieved my goal of getting a 6 pack. Cedric is a phenomenal trainer. I have been training with him for over 3 years and it has transformed my physical, mental, and overall health immensely. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Cedric. I spent a lot of years working out alone which worked really well for me. However, after having my baby I had a really tough time reconnecting with fitness and my body. No matter what I did, I just wasn't feeling it. I was running and lifting weights but it wasn't doing the trick and I was feeling pretty down about it. I had never trained with anyone before - not even the free sessions they offer at the gym - so I was hesitant. I read through a ton of reviews and Cedric caught my eye because people repeatedly mentioned his attention to detail, form and genuine professionalism. All fact! Cedric is one of the most talented and dedicated trainers you will ever find. As someone with a lot of limitations due to chronic illness, I wasn't sure what to expect initially. Over the course of the last nine months, he has changed not only my body but also my own expectations of what my body can accomplish. He is truly gifted in his ability to quickly assess what your strengths and weaknesses are and challenge you into mental and physical shape. I'm constantly amazed at his creativity in working around and with your issues and in coming up with sweat-inducing, muscle-shaking circuits. I have never done the same workout twice with him; in fact, he will often modify the same circuit into a more difficult (or easier) one by the time you get to the next set. Also, he is incredible at correcting your form so that you are actually exercising the correct muscle. Cedric is an incredible trainer and has an impressively deep understanding of the body, creating a long term program to work toward my goals. He is great at focusing on engaging the proper muscle groups for the exercises, and emphasizes correct form before progressing the movements. Every session is challenging and builds upon previous sessions, yet no two sessions are the same so it is always new and engaging, and challenges my body in new ways. Both our in person and virtual sessions are incredibly effective, I have been very impressed with his ability to instruct the sessions virtually. I do not feel the quality of my training has been compromised due to our inability to meet in person. Even through a virtual video session, he provides great cues and corrections and has maintained an effective program with my limited space and resources at home. The man, Cedric, is amazing. Also, as you might see, he is always fit, and doing a workout that would make a beyond reasonably fit athlete shit his pants. He was my conditioning coach, in the context of Muay Thai fighting. I used to have almost no booty, didn't know it was possible for the skinniest body type (ectomorph?) to have a huge booty. He has a wealth of knowledge in his discipline, and is creative in such a way as to use his knowledge to create unorthodox training routines to fix person specifics problems. Example; my right romboid was always tight and aching, a consequence of throwing cross (punch) with a particular technique. He developed some, uh, modified exercises so I could continue to throw the cross with weird technique. I always felt that no matter how hard I sprint or train, I cannot replicate the feeling of 300% gravity in a fight. But he got me there and helped me find ways to combine it into the fight training. I've worked with other before, some also excellent. That being said, I've gotta say, this man is special. read more

Over the past few years, I have gone to PT about five times for the same lower back issues, which were a hangover from a skiing accident. After being fed up and feeling like I could not build any momentum to get back in shape I came across Cedric, who I have been training with for about 1.5 years. He has worked extremely hard to ensure that not only was I working toward a better physical appearance, but doing so in a way that would minimize the impact of past injuries, and maximize my ability to keep up. He trains in a very thoughtful and targeted way, that always produces maximum results. I have been to 4-6 trainers in my life and none are as thoughtful as Ced about how to train, as well as how to adjust given other factors (tiredness, soreness, injuries etc). I have trained with Cedric pre-pandemic and even more consistently since we have had to go virtual. I am 9 months postpartum and the strength I have regained has been entirely due to Cedric's ability to meet people where they are and then push them to go further than they believed was possible. Cedric has a great ability to understand people and the ways in which each individual will uniquely progress. He is very intuitive and the training feels very customized. I have scoliosis that used to cause tension headaches up my neck and three slipped discs that used to make my back seize up about once a month. I spent a year getting chiro and massages to manage the pain. But, since working with Cedric for about four months now, my back is nearly straight, my posture stays upright by itself, and I haven't thrown out my back or had headaches for about two and a half months.
