I was picked up at my house by the shitty police of Smithfield, UT, for a bench warrant (FTA)…read moreissued in Orem that I was unaware about (don't worry, I'm suing them for many reasons including no miranda rights. Thanks body cams!). It was the most miserable experience, and I felt helpless cause they took me to county, and nobody knew I was gone. My dad (whose number is the only one I had memorized) didn't answer 11 collect calls. I called three bond companies (going through a list at the jail) and Breaking Bad was the first to answer my collect call. They looked up my case and saw that my bail wasn't bondable. However, the lady asked me if they could call someone for me. I was so grateful! I finally had some hope. They called my dad and told him where I was and that I needed help. Because it was a large cash requirement, my mom and dad drove up from Provo to to bail me out that night. Breaking Bad called the jail to get the address for my parents!I would have spent the night in county without knowing whether my family even knew to look for me, if it hadn't been for the people from Breaking Bad who helped me. They made no money, but they took the time to help me on one of the worst days of my life. I know it's super cheesy to say but they gave me hope. I called to thank them a week later (today). For what it's worth, use these guys. They care and they helped me when I needed it.

You have to be kidding me. This guy definitely tried to explain things up front to make you want…read moreto use him. I called him about a bond for my brother, and ultimately, this guy calls me like he's a teenager and while he called ME to ASK ME to help him get in contact with my brother, he acts like an ass every time he calls about anything. Firstly Josh, stop eating your words - I can't understand what the hell you're saying. Enunciate. Secondly, you call me to ask me to call my brother, and while HE was in need of a bail bond, I am not. I'm a business owner who doesn't expect that you'll call me and then not answer a question that you're asking me to help you with. Apparently you don't remember past conversations because you think you've explained to me something about checking in or whatever. I've never had a conversation with you about checking in nor is it on any of the bond paperwork that was signed. The same paperwork where you were unable to explain to me the reason why a guilty verdict means the bond is forfeited. You spew about how well you know your industry, but when you speak to me, one of the few who actually read the document, you couldn't explain any of the terms. It's because you're here for the easy money of the people in trouble. You don't actually understand your own industry when it comes down to actual details. Josh is definitely a good salesman. He's like a used car salesman. He talked a ton about what would likely happen and how much time someone would serve, etc.which of course, doesn't match anything any of the lawyers said about the same. I'll post a link to the recorded conversation for anyone who wants to understand if this is the right guy for you to work with... Apparently, when he called me about my family member, he apparently thought he was talking to me as if I was his customer and as if I was going to go to jail if I didn't listen to him. When a bondsman violates the unprofessional conduct clause of his own bond license by threatening to revoke my brother's bond, because of ME not doing what he says, there's a clear problem. He is the clear definition of narcissist with a sprinkle of psychopath. Dr. Jekyl and Mr Hyde. I have sent the recorded call to the board that oversees bail bondsman in Utah to get their opinion about his practices of hassling me about terms that don't actually exist in any of the documents. And, any terms that do exist, are not terms to me, as the bond is not for me. He is clearly accustomed to being in control by the mere fact that he controls the bond, and therefore controls via fear those named in the bond. Ridiculous.

I would like to extend the highest gratitude to Josh personally, as well as Cary Breeze for their…read moreexceptional services. The amount of personal effort, time, and dedication they, especially Josh, provided to our family will not be forgotten. During a time of great duress for our family Josh was a powerhouse of consistent knowledge, experience, dedication, and concern. Josh consisently went above and beyond as an advocate for us. Our family was truly blessed to have had the priviledge to have someone in a profession that is so passionate and devoted in helping families in a time of need. Many thanks to Josh Massey, of Massey's Bail Bonds. ~telina
