Despite already accepting responsibility, they refused to refund or properly replace the heater they damaged. After weeks of back-and-forth, delays, and excuses, they finally offered to replace it -- but with a cheaper, off-brand heater, not the brand and quality of the original equipment they broke. To make matters worse, their chemical mismanagement caused extremely high alkalinity, which resulted in guests' hair turning green -- a clear sign of improper water balance and potentially damaging to skin and hair. This is especially alarming for anyone who hosts guests or values safety. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and urgency throughout this process has been exhausting and IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. This happend in August! He then texted me in the evening and asked me to Venmo him half of the job for materials. We set a date later in the week for him to do the job. He said he would drop the chemicals and materials off at my home for the acid wash on Wednesday. He never showed up. I called him and he said the pool supply company was going to drop off the supplies the next day by 12:00- that never happened. I called the pool supply company and they said they don't deliver materials unless it's a substantial amount- 2000.00 minimum. He came by to look at my pool pump and told my husband it was fried. He installed a much older pump and took my newer pump and tried to sell it to someone else in the neighborhood. I just saw another post on FB that Samuel Ventura took money from another couple in the neighborhood and took their Polaris to be be repaired. He showed up 2 times to clean their pool, he did not return the money nor did he return the Polaris. His post on Face Book said his name was George Goodson but when he showed up he said George passed away and his name was Samuel Ventura. He took over $300.00 from us and then changed his phone number . Do not give this man any money for pool services!
