She quickly determined what would be the best fit for me and after trying on a few different bras, I ended up buying two of the same bra in two different colors because it is absolutely perfect!. The staff is always amazing. I drive from Florida to buy all my bras here for the entire year. Once I get my measurements and the proper size I order more and have them shipped to me. I've ordered the wrong size before and they worked with me on the return and exchange. Sizes are not accurate and if you buy on sale they will not allow you to exchange for a size that fits. My daughter has such a hard time finding bras that fit. Thought that by using their sizing chart and following the directions on their site that, surely, these would fit. When they arrived, the band was too tight and the cup size was a little too small. Customer service "rejected" the request to exchange them. So now I'm out over $150 for (3) bras that she can't wear. Not to mention, they are made with Wal-Mart quality material. Went in on 3/2/2024 and the sales associate was very helpful in helping me find the correct style and bra size. The bras fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They are priced right. Bras are not cheap by any means even if you buy in regular stores. I got the Elomi brand style Matilda. I will definitely buy more from them again. Visited tonight with my husband. I have just weaned my baby and needed a good bra fitting. Arrived at the store at 5:45. The sign on the door said they closed at 6. We live 30 minutes away. The employee told me that they couldn't size me after 5:30 because it takes a while. I mean, I get it, but I have worked retail and have never turned a customer away. They unapologetically told me I could come back tomorrow and gave me a coupon, but it is a huge inconvenience to be turned away. I will not be back. Poor customer service. read more

I had a wonderful experience a few days ago with a fitting and finding a bra for my sisters wedding but didn't have my dress with me to make sure it worked and to try on shape wear. I was told to come back to with the dress to try it on. I rushed after work today to get to Breakout Bras with enough time before they closeat 6p to try it all on. I was told they don't let anyone try anything on after 5p. I can understand not starting a full fitting after 5p but I just had my full fitting 2 days ago, I just didn't have my dress with me so I came back to make sure it worked. I went back and forth with the employee who went back and forth with their manager, got a refund for my previous purchase and am now sitting in my car writing this review by six. I would have been done before they close spent more money and be set for my sisters wedding next week by the time they locked the doors. Now for the hour drive back home, empty handed. I'm not mad, just disappointed. read more

Love love love everything about the care and selection and attempts at fulfilling requests that these people put their passion into. I've been so happy with the items I've received, great fit, and awesome customer service. I called and asked to be FITTED for a bra. Made an appointment, met a young woman who asked what size I was wearing, and just handed me several bras. She was absolutely no help. Nothing fit any better than what I was wearing so I left and went to the mall to be properly fitted. Will not be back. read more

Long Story: I've been to many professional bra fitters over the years. I always came home with a bra that seemed to fit at the store, only to cause me pain when I wore it. Breakout Bras was recommended to me by several online bra forums, in part because they carry the Polish brand Comexim, known for its narrow wires. At that point, I'd been trying to figure out my fitting problems on my own and wasn't having much luck. Stephanie at Breakout Bras helped me trouble-shoot via email. And boy, was she good! It took a few tries, but eventually she figured out what all of my past bra fitters have missed. Now I have two bras that actually lift me up and feel comfortable. If you've had bra pain, you understand the holy grail of a good fit. If you're ordering online, I recommend you send in fitting photos. It really helps your fitter see what's going on. read more

I went just before the coronavirus closed everything down. It was a busy day for them. I had about a 20 minute wait, but I hadn't made an appointment. Once my turn came, I had the woman's undivided attention for the next 30 minutes. I am a very hard to fit size and have never been happy with any bra from a department store or VS. I left with three fantastic fitting bras to match different moods or occasions. I will never try to shop anywhere else again! read more

If I could give zero stars I would...DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from them!!!!! I used Amazon to make an online purchase, I paid expedited shipping & handling costs. I had to return this item because it was too small. I called them to ask if I would be refunded the shipping/handling costs of the initial order. I was told yes, so I put my item into the mail. Once my refund was processed I was disappointed to see that the only refund I received was for the item only. I called them again & was told "We don't make money on returns" & again I was denied the full refund. The customer service here is horrid!! Don't waste your hard earned money on this business. This company exploits the consumer because the state laws allow it. They use this to the full extent & will do everything they can to screw the customer!! Take your business else where & report them to The Better Business Bureau for misuse of the law!! read more

EXCELLENT !!! stopped in to get some better bras and a swimsuit, and the salesperson Zaa just could not have been more helpful, patient, and kind - it took an hour to get properly fitted for a bra (which was easy) then try on some swimsuits (which is always a problem at 200lbs, but they had a decent selection for plus sized ladies), and Zaa was right on top of it the whole time - the people here obviously genuinely care about helping their difficult to fit clients like myself, and it's caring customer service like this that will keep me coming back - Zaa was MUCH more attentive than what I experienced at other plus sized stores and department stores while looking for a decent bra elsewhere this week, and I would recommend Breakout Bras to anyone who's frustrated and needs help getting a good fit - just be sure to call first and make an appointment, they do take walk ins but the fitting process can take a bit of time to do diligently, and it's clear the ladies who work here all care about getting the job done well - thanks again !!! read more

A few years ago, Breakout Bras was located on Haywood Road and their inventory was displayed and available for you to browse. They were helpful, however, one of the ladies working there called my 34G's "boobies" a few too many times. I feel that 34G doesn't categorize as a "boobie". (I don't think she works there anymore.) A couple of times the owner, Melissa, helped me. She was great! In their newer Woodruff Road location, the inventory is not displayed for you to see (neither is Melissa). Being a hard-to-fit size, I have to wait to see if I like what they're going to bring to me. They are very educated in fittings (but so is Dillards...only a mile or so away), however, I feel like the way they control everything that I can see is not a good customer service move. (Neither is making me wait a few minutes for them to go get something else.) Their return policy is also a bit strict. I have a bra that was probably too large for me when I purchased it (at $65) and I was immediately told I would not be able to return it. I shouldn't have bought it, but unfortunately, Dillard's didn't have what I needed. (Note to self: order on-line, it's easier & they have better return policies.) read more

Went in hoping to finally get a bra that was both, supportive and comfortable. That's not what I ended up with. They were on a 10 minute wait when I arrive but I wasn't in a hurry so I sat. When I was finally given a room and fitter she did not measure me at all. The first 2 bras were unbearably small, but she insisted that the band size was right and just went up cup sizes. She seemed pleased with the 3rd choice even after I voiced that it felt like the band fit too low on my rib cage, she insisted that I just needed to adjust the placement. She wouldn't let me get a band size bigger and acted as if I was inferiors for suggesting it, she condescendingly offered a band extender. I was finally convinced to buy it half out of just hoping that they knew what they were talking about and half out of being overly polite. I was told the bra was none returnable. By the time I got home all I could think about was getting it off, when I did I could literally feel my chest expanding where the band had been. All in all it's a prudish shop that values they're opinions more than the comfort of their customers, I will not be going back. read more

I use to really dislike shopping for bras due to my odd size, I found breakout bras several years ago, and I have not been disappointed yet. A lady named Laura helped me and her service was impeccable, this is the service I have grown to love with them. I didn't have to hunt through racks hoping to find my size, she brought me exactly what I was asking for in the correct size and style that I requested. Remember ladies.. You get what you pay for. After years (yes, years!) of frustration at trying to find a properly fitting bra, my daughter once again left a store in tears. Only this time, it was tears of joy!!! When we entered the store, my first reaction was, "Where are all the bras?" This isn't your typical retail store. It is much, much more! Bathing suit shopping can be difficult being large chested so I was thrilled to find a place designed specifically for this. When "fitted" she used her hands across my back and proceeded to bring a bathing suit with a band three sizes too small. I waited another 5 min for her to bring another that was okay but nothing spectacular. The band was tight so I asked for the next size up to see. A different style was brought out yet not in the size I requested; the manager came and told me I needed to go down a size in the band. However, I couldn't get that size on yet they brought me multiple styles in that size. They only brought multiple styles because I had to wait 5 min each time for one to come out so I asked for more to come. The styles were not what I asked for and when I asked for a thicker band I was told they didn't have any. I left empty handed and upset with this store. Thank you for making another bathing suit trip traumatic when it's already hard enough finding one. I will not be back. read more

My very first time here was excellent, the customer service was amazing.. The last 3 times I have been in the store was horrible I actually left all 3 times with nothing. I had went just last weekend looking for a swimsuit, the girl brings me 2 tops,tells me to fasten them ! Now anyone who wares them knows you can't hardly do it yourself for awhile.. She leaves me comes back about 8 minutes later oh if you need me to I can help you fasten it! I could go on and on but needless to say I spent 3 hours almost and bought nothing sad to it's pretty bad when you can't even look at what they have they bring what they want you to have .. Let's just say I was going to buy anywhere from 300,00 to 500.00 dollars of new bras, panties, and other items but after being treated that way I walked out for the 3rd time for the same reasons before.. I had rather ride 4 or 5 hours to be treated like a person than a piece of crap.. Nothing more than disrespect !! Never will waste my time there again!!!!! read more

So I have never been to their store. My experience is with their website and customer service. I am plus sized and need bras that fit well and provide support. I have always had a hard time finding good bras. Usually I have to go to Nordstroms and get fitted and buy a $70 utilitarian bra. Not anymore. I tried out their website a few years ago and have never looked back. Their sizing method is very accurate to find a good fit. They have fabulous brands such as Elomi, Panache, Wacol, Freya etc and the bras are stylish, cute and provide unparalleled support that doesn't break the bank. Their customer service is extremely responsive and I have never had a bad experience with them. I especially love the comments that are left under bras, which give a good idea of the fit of the bras and are extremely helpful. I love this store and it is my go to for all bras. I don't know what I would do without them. read more
