Their beer was surely some of the best I've had in the US, so we decided to try them out. Unfortunately we also found out that they were closing within a couple of weeks of learning about them. We finally visited them during their last week. Parking was a bit of a challenge, though the place was packed and there seemed to be a lot of repeat customers. We ordered a few different beers and different foods. Everything was great and something we would love to come back for. Unfortunately this wont be possible, so we will need to just remember our awesome experience here. Fortunately though, their beer is available at Wegmans and some other locations.

The burger meat is delicious, that bacon is nice and thick cut, some pieces are cooked great, some a little crunchy, but great bacon flavor regardless. Tacos -Cubano 8/10 Good flavor, the pork is cooked well, but the ham is very salty, little hard to eat more than a couple bites at a time. The mustard tastes great, and I love that the pickle is fried and locally made. -Chicken 8/10 Seasoned nicely, kinda taco flavored? I can't make out the spices super well. The jalapeño crema adds a touch of heat but not much. A mild spiciness. -Beef 8/10 You can taste that caramel flavor. Reminds me of short rib. Kimchi adds a good crunch. I do wish there was a tiny amount of sauce or something wet. Cheese skirt burger 9/10 Burger meat is amazing flavor. The cheese skirt adds a nice crunch. I don't think I completely understood what a cheese skirt meant. I would like maybe another slice of melted cheese on it though. Garlic aioli is really good too.

I paired that with a tasty pile of sweet potato waffle fries and a side of honey for dipping them in. The fries were a perfect blend of crispy outside and soft inside, just a touch of salt, and the honey is genius (it's an extra $1 and well worth it). Several other beers on the menu look tempting too, and they make their own pizza dough! Another plus: the owners are friendly awesome people. I am very likely to return. The inside seating area is larger than it looks like from the outside, with plenty of seating at the bar and at tables, plus an outdoor patio. Restrooms are clearly marked and easy to access. There are several large TVs showing various sports games - no closed captions though. Music is nice, there was an upbeat jazz background while I was there. It's on the louder side but not too loud to have conversations. The bartender was friendly and checked on us a few times, even though he was swamped by those at the bar. We didn't opt for any food from the kitchen, but were glad to see there's the option to chow down while drinking. An added perk was that finding parking on a weeknight was super easy. No one at the table should have to eat at different times because of such poor coordination. The food itself was also underwhelming. The steak fajitas were especially disappointing--they consisted of a few somewhat tough pieces of steak with no peppers or onions, which are basic ingredients for fajitas. The steak hoagie was similarly sparse, containing mostly shaved steak with very few vegetables. To make matters worse, the fries served with the meals were cold. Our appetizer was also mishandled. The charcuterie board arrived with salami, cream cheese, and cheese, but no bread or crackers. We had to ask for those to be brought out. We also had to request small plates because none were provided. Finally, throughout the meal, dirty dishes--including our appetizer plates--were never cleared from the table, leaving us surrounded by stacks of dishes until we were finished. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience. Between the disorganized service, multiple forgotten items, cold food, and lack of attention to basic hospitality, we expected much better. The Reuben was ok, instead of the tangier russian dressing I'm used to this one was more straight mayo based so the flavors weren't what I was expecting. The marbled rye could have been buttered a little more when toasted as well. The amount of meat that it came with though was great and quite hefty. Both sandwiches also came with coleslaw and a pickle spear. The slaw was vinegar based and cut through the heaviness of the meat. I wish the pickle was more crispy though. All in all, a relaxed spot for lunch with good drink but ok food.

We also didn't get silverware and when we asked for napkins we got a single paper one. We were also at the end of the bar which is where the severs would stand or get the food which was directly next to us which was a bit annoying due to the proximity, they were as close as sitting next to us at a table. There was a guy outside singing and man was he good! He should be famous he was so good!! Place is super cool! We are in a hotel so got an app and split a sandwich so no leftovers. The chips and guac app was amazing! It comes with a fresh cut pico type salsa and man it was delicious! We got a chicken sandwich and it was super tasty! But the fries omg, if you live a crispy French fry this is your place! Dynamite! Top it all off with an awesome and sweet server, Andrea and it was just a perfect lunch!
