Lobster roll and sweet potato fries

My family's favorite spot in the Hamburg/Orchard Park area. We go here more often than any other place and have never been disappointed. A small-town place with a great family vibe. The building is beautiful and the outdoor area is great during the summer/fall, too! There's a reason it's always busy! Super casual and friendly atmosphere with reasonably priced, delicious food and amazing cider. The lobster roll and sweet potato fries (summer special) is my favorite!

We meant our friends from Fredonia . A very impressive large building. Alas. None of us were impressed by their food. My beef on Weck was fatty and over cooked. Our friends didn't like their pizza and didn't eat much of it. You place your order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. The beer was just ok nothing special.

Came here for lunch on Saturday and had a great experience! It was my first time here, and I was really impressed with everything. The large venue has a variety of both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside at a large metal table that had a built in lazy Susan. It was in the shade with a great view of the pond. There were also tables closer to the pond and picnic tables as well. I ordered a flight of hard ciders and a lobster roll with fries. The flight was poured inside and they gave me a number to take outside with me. My brother in law ordered a charcuterie board which came out basically as soon as we sat down. My food order came out just a few minutes later. The bathrooms were also clean and every employee we interacted with was friendly and professional. I'd love to come back here for lunch again sometime.

Back Friday was a super busy night for them. No seats in the old taproom, but there was some in the new one. I do wish it wasn't seat yourself though. It would be easier that way to grab a table. Charcuterie Board 10/10 Good assortment of meats and cheese. They seem to change up the combinations every so often. Meats: prosciutto, mortadella. Cheeses: cheddar, & idk what the other 2 were. Bread: Naan. Spreads: -The white cheese-type spread was fantastic. We asked what it was but they didn't know- so if anyone finds out, I'd love to know what it was!! -The other "spread" was artichokes with herbs in oil, that was also really really good! Hot honey deluxe 9/10 Really good. The spice level was nonexistent/mild. I definitely think the "hot" honey should have been just a hair spicier. But I loved the sweet honey with the pepperoni flavor. The basil was a nice touch of freshness every couple bites. Fig Jam & Prosciutto 10/10 Really good combination of ingredients and flavors. The sweetness of the fig jam and creaminess of the goat cheese was so good.

This is on my brewery adventure list thanks to the WNY Craft Brew Tour Cards from Habitat for Humanity. I loved it and will definitely be back. The atmosphere and property are beautiful. Seating feels spacious. There is plenty of clear signage so you know where to go and what to do - for example, there is a sign that all orders must be done at the bar, and the menu is posted on the wall right next to the bar. Service is outstanding, very friendly and patient. The menu has some go-to standbys plus creative interesting foods. I got the Cuban Sandwich and would give it a solid four stars - it could use more sauce/pizzazz but the meats were good quality and overall flavor was good. Fries were tasty and disappeared quickly. For beer I got a Belgian Ale; the flavor is subtle and pleasant. I appreciate that they offer both 12-oz and 16-oz sizes. Beer flights are available for $10. I felt like the food took a long time to come out; that's the only potential complaint from me. Overall this is a win and I look forward to returning.

Visited for the first time last Sunday for brunch. The hours look fairly limited for brunch, but make the trip if you can! You order at the bar counter for food and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed their beer including the sour and hazy IPA. They also make absolutely delicious hard ciders too, highly recommend blueberry peach or the strawberry. For food we had the waffle flight, which was very tasty just a little small for the price. Now the real reason you need to make a trip was the breakfast pizza! We enjoyed it with bacon, but they had sausage as an option too. We shared a large, but they have a personal size option. No exaggeration this was epic. Wonderfully cooked, great crust and ingredients including just enough sauce to give it a tiny kick. Would eat this every morning if we could! The indoor and outdoor space is beautiful, we really enjoyed a table on the patio with some shade.

This week's adventure bought us to Hamburg brewing. We placed our food and drink requests with the incredibly helpful bar team and made our way through the cozy and well decorated bar area to the patio to wait (the patio is definitely one of the better ones we've visited). We placed an order for the street corn dip which was thick and flavorful, the chips were huge and quite fresh. Kids chicken tenders for the little yelper (she gave it 2up). Charcuterie board- we would have loved a little candied or fresh fruit but a good choice of cheeses and meat. I did my usual thing and ordered the wings general tso style. Slight spice , sticky and flavorful, however the wings weren't very crispy. I opted for the pomegranate hard cider, which was a cold and refreshing treat for a rare sunny May Day. We were very impressed with their food offerings and are looking forward to a return visit.

Drinks are always good with lots of options!!! Food is delicious and has a wide variety. Service is easy to order at the bar inside then they give you a number to take back to your seat. Then they bring it out to you. Which is very nice but seating is limited outside. The pond is beautiful and they have cool fish and turtles to look at. Seating inside is very large new area to dine with large groups or smaller groups. I do enjoy coming here to have a nice relaxing dinner or brunch.

Keep an eye out for the weekly special!

Came on an afternoon with live music. As expected, seating was limited, but eventually our party of 4 snagged a spot. It was pretty nice that they offer table service! We expected a different artist than what was identified to play that day and I was pretty bummed when many beers were not available for my 4 flight options. The chicken wing dip was hot & fresh, though. Guess I'll have to go back another time...

I've sat on this review for a month now trying to figure out if I want to review it. It's been reviewed as awesome with great VIEWS by others, but that's not what I want to hear when it comes to food. We came here for a birthday celebration, and we were not prepared to find out that there is no table service, aka waiter/waitress. Strike one. We went to get seated by the hostess and she was uncertain where to sit us outside. We saw a table and recommended it and she said, OK. But the seating was not for 4, only 2. As we were whisking two other chairs from a table, we noticed that a whole table on the same terrace was available, so we dove. I have never felt like I had to do that at a restaurant! Strike two. Once settled into the table that WE found was right, there was no table service. What's going on? Ohhhh, so apparently you need to go inside to the super small bar area and place your drink and food orders. Whhaaaattt?! So we gave our orders, were given the drinks, and then a number to take back to our table. One HOUR after ordering, no food: I went inside to the bar and asked of our status and they just wait they were "slammed." They gave us 4 free drink tickets to appease us. They asked our dinner table number and 10 minutes later, the food arrived. The presentation was good, but the lobster was lacking and the steak wasn't cooked enough. Not favorable. So the manager came over to see how everything was if he could do anything, and we asked him to cash in our drink tickets and he said, "Oh, you have to go the bar for those." What kind of service is that?! You already delayed our food for an hour and can't even get us the drink tickets? Strike three. This is a terrible business model that they are running. Might be scenic but the food is mediocre and how can you have people available to serve you your food but not wait upon through the whole experience?! Never going back.

I've been wanting to come to Hamburg Brewing for some time. Being a fan of their beer, but living across the country was a slight hurdle. We visit the area often, but have never ventured down until this past visit. We happened to show up during their 10th Anniversary celebration. I'd have to say, we didn't get the "normal" experience and I was a little disappointed about that. But we did have a good time. The brewery is amazing. The grounds are crazy beautiful for a brewery. I plan on returning during our next visit to get the regular experience. I do have to say, they know how to throw an anniversary party. Beer was flowing. Service was outstanding (people cleaning up as soon as you finished your food / drink). The music was excellent. Happy anniversary Hamburg!

Seeing as I'm a Yelp-er, they wanted me to find a spot I hadn't been to yet, even though I had eaten dinner already on my own. I had The Ridge West Seneca saved in my "Places to Try" collection so I said let's go. Overall, I cannot wait to go back and grab a meal here and try the food for myself! We arrive just before 8pm on a Saturday night to a large gravel parking lot that was pretty busy, but we still found a spot pretty easily. We walked in and the hostess was able to seat the two of us at a booth right away! Inside it was very spacious with plenty of TVs going, a bar on one side, music playing overhead. Indoor noise was elevated (it's a restaurant that has a bar, it's going to not be quiet haha) but the two of us could carry on a conversation fairly normally. Our waitress came over immediately to let us know she'd be a few minutes as there were a few other tables she was handling. Fine by us as that allowed my buddy ample time to look over the menu and figure out what he wanted. I saw the St. Patrick's Day-themed cocktail specials menu so I knew what I was ordering. Our waitress though - Absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly friendly, had great personality, and was really accommodating in splitting the check (I took care of all our drinks, my friend took care of his dinner). Our waitress did a great job checking in on us at the perfect time, we never felt pressured, rushed. I didn't order any food but my friend ordered their Steakhouse Strip off the "Large Plates" section of the menu, and boy oh boy, did that look amazing! The 12-ounce strip was cooked to a picture-perfect medium-rare with plenty of tobacco onions on top and around the plate, and served over a generous bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus, served with a small cup of their A1 aioli. After seeing that, I certainly want to come back and order food. My friend really enjoyed their meal, the plate was clean! As for me, I ordered two St. Patrick's Day -themed cocktails: "Sham Rocked Shake" and "Irish Good Bye". The "Sham Rocked Shake" was vanilla vodka, crème de menthe, cream, and chocolate syrup and curls - This was creamy, delicious, not overly minty. The "Irish Good Bye" was Three Chord bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and lemon juice with a lime wedge - There was so much flavor in this cocktail, the lemon juice added a pleasant fruity 'punch'. Looking at the prices for these cocktails, I felt they were in-line with most other places and they were made well so no complaints from me. The Ridge West Seneca really surprised me! I've driven past it a few times and wondered how good it was. From our friendly waitress and service, the delicious cocktails, to the fantastic-looking food, I am impressed. I'm looking forward to coming back soon for another night of drinks and to try some food!

I was surprised to see I haven't written a review but I always have a good experience here! For my mom's birthday, she wanted to grab a beer flight and dinner at Live Edge Brewing. We arrived on a Saturday around 4:45pm and took a parking spot close to the entrance. They have a good-size parking lot so no concerns about finding a space. We walked in and saw the "wait to be seated" sign and soon afterward, a young woman came over and asked how many in our party and where we'd like to sit. The three of us decided to sit on their back patio. We picked a table and our waitress soon followed with drink/food menus. All of the tables outside had umbrellas to help shield from the sun, which on this Saturday was out but the temperature was perfect and there was a slight breeze to cool it down a little. The one oddity we had was that our drink menus didn't match as my menu had more taps listed compared to the others I was sitting with, so I ended up getting a drink in my flight they never saw. I slight hiccup but honestly, you can't be too upset with a drink in your hand! Our waitress was young and incredibly personable, friendly, accommodating, answering all our questions about the food and customizing our orders how we wanted them. We might have let it slip that it was my mom's birthday - Our waitress brought her a birthday cake shot to celebrate, which she loved! Our waitress let us take our time sampling our beer flights before placing our food orders. The wait time for our food was very reasonable, maybe 10-15 minutes, I can't remember as we were having too good a time chatting and sipping. For dinner, I ordered their Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy, which is a hand-breaded toaster-oven-baked chicken breast topped with provolone cheese, pickles, and their Nashville hot sauce between a brioche bun and served with a side of tater tots (a small upcharge from their default chips). The sandwich was delicious! Now, for you spice lovers, I didn't find this sandwich very spicy, it was more about the flavor, the tang of the sauce. I didn't mind it not being that spicy, the flavor was excellent! The pickles were thick and had a nice crisp to them and the provolone cheese paired so well with it all. The tater tots were fried perfectly with a crispier exterior but hot, pillowy-soft interior - For the small upcharge, ~$3.00, they were worth it. The portion sizes were perfect as I was perfectly full, I wasn't uncomfortable. The price of my meal was reasonable as well, especially seeing how everything's costing more in 2026. Live Edge Brewing is not only a family favorite but for me, it's a hidden gem. The friendly, laid back, yet still attentive service and country atmosphere have us continuing to come back each New Year's Eve, and now, this could become a new birthday tradition!
