This is a hidden gem with a wonderful courtyard . The friendly bar service is top notch along with a comfortable setting whesther you sit i side or outside. Weekends have live music at an outdoor stage to enjoy from tables or lounging on a couch. One building houses the brewery and a lot of photos of Buffalo's brewing history. We sampled several beers and really the quality of them. Inside another building is a bar at street side and the rest of the building has a 2 level dining room with an open second floor . We really enjoyed our evening here with quality beer and wonderful staff.

Great atmosphere - clean, fun and plenty of space, including an outdoor beer garden.

Great beer, great service and a fun lunch menu. Their brewer is top notch - one the best in Buffalo. Love their hefeweizen. We've only had lunch here but all the food was top notch.

Stopped in for a quick snack and drink with our beer trail pass. Buffalo chicken wing dip 10/10 Made with real shredded chicken! Good spice level.

After a horrid return flight from Spain lasting 57 hours this place made my day! Kathy was the kind and helpful human I so need to experience! She should replace many folks at American Arlines and several Charlotte Airport servers! What a nice place, good food, something for everyone! Beer is very good too.

This was another discovery thanks to the WNY Craft Brew Tour Cards from Habitat for Humanity. I have both pros and cons for my visit here which even out to a solid "Okay". Parking is on the street and I found a spot easily. The front door, not so much. Fourth time is the charm? There are several doors at the front of the building and it isn't any of those. A sign on the sidewalk points down an alleyway (well-lit with pretty lights) and the door is the unmarked one halfway down the alley. I still wasn't sure upon walking in that I was in the right place but fortunately someone greeted me pretty quickly. Menus are QR-code-only so cell phones are a requirement here. (Also... the QR code didn't work and I had to ask for help - basically just go to their website and look up the menu). The menu is on the boring side and fairly small. This is not the place for foodies looking for a unique flavor experience. That being said, my fancy grilled cheese was delicious. I had the "You're Not The Boss Of Me" Hefeweizen. It's decent, not the best I've had, but I was happy with it. (I mean, all Hefes are good, right?) Ambiance: Most seating can see the huge TVs. HUGE TVs. No closed captions (at least not when I was there). Music was a good selection and at a reasonable volume to still have conversations; it's in the background as it should be. Would love to see WNBA games here but they didn't get the right channel (although I really appreciated that they checked for me!). Staff was great - both my server and a person I assume is the manager were friendly and helpful during my whole visit. I went on a weekday evening and it was very quiet, only a few other customers. I sat indoors, because I did not discover the outdoor patio area when I first arrived - it is large and very cool. If I go back I would probably sit outside.

Haven't been there in two years but will return more often! I grew up in the Lovejoy area so nice to see new life returning! The place is a nice mix old and new modern ! I had the Bob stuffed burger which was a uniquely blended burger of Bison, wagyu, New Zealand Elk,and wild Boar topped with pickled red onions,Gouda and house made bacon mayo with fries on the side!, WOW !!! What an Amazing mix I never saw before! The wagyu gave the other meats which are on the leaner dryer side an awesome juicy, delectable taste!!! Absolutely loved it! The wife had the Beef on wick, it was awesome too!! Plenty of very lean tender piled high delicious beef! It also came with fries that were cooked perfectly crispy! They have a wide, large choice of their beers on tap! The service was relaxed and friendly, even the chef came by to talk!

The new server is the reason for the stars. It was her first night waitressing and she was great. The place was very dead on a Sunday evening @6pm. There was only one other group of four in the dining room. The manager that ( always wears a suit) was not friendly WhATSoEver. In fact, he started to bring out our food. He went up to the table next to us ( Who VEErrY clearly had their food) already. So I quickly waved a little and announced that it was our table. Clearly noticing my turkey wrap an arms distance away. He literally did not believe me I suppose, since the Manager ignored me a second time and turned walking the food back into kitchen. AWKWARD There was no one else in the restaurant besides the table that had their food, and our table of four. He read back on kitchen note, that it was indeed ours. Manager never apologized or said anything like "Sorry about that", he just looked at us like a deer in headlights while delivering our food. My Grandmother said wow ," not friendly for a manager, that is not good for business!" Also for the food. Since we are Buffalonians and WINGS are on the menu It should be a sin to Serve RANCH! I now know that watered down RANCh is even worse based on what they replaced ! Except ( luckily no food allergies) because it was not told, to us , just given. Wings (medium) needed more time to crisp skin up, & lacked flavor Turkey wrap ( was lunch meat) but ok. two others ordered the Roast beef. Sour beer named Mamma Mia & the Lemon were probably better than anything we ate. Would only return for a cocktail on the patio. Fries were

A return trip to a neighborhood favorite. I arrived just as dining was kicking off and was immediately greeted by the staff, grabbed a seat at the bar and put in an order for some wings a cold pint of the Lovejoy lager, which really hit the spot. Frosty cold and light on flavor. The food came out quick and immediately I had the scent of those wings hitting my nose as the plate was placed in front of me. They were of average size but perfectly sauced and cooked. Most times I struggle to put a single order of 10 down. These were a breeze. Ive had wings all over the city and I'm going to say that these deserve an honorable mention. The bleu cheese was "ok" just a little light on flavor for my liking. Solid meal once again at the brewery.

We had books our ladies auxiliary Christmas party for here way in advance. We started out with appetizers I took the Pierogi. It was two potato and cheddar cheese. Not a big fan of the combination and they were very greasy, plus it took forty minutes to get them. They had no coffee brewed so that took another half hour to get a cup. Then my choice of entee the fishy fry took another forty five minutes. Again it was also very greasy ,came with fries, potato salad and coleslaw slaw. When it came to my favorite part of the night, the desserts we were informed by the waiter that they ran out.How do you run out knowing you had fourteen people booked? Very disappointing.

This was the venue for fourteen ladies aux members for our Christmas party. I started out with the potato and cheddar cheese two pierogis. The food took forever to come , like forty minutes and it seemed over cooked and very greasy. When I asked for a cup of coffee, I was told that none was made and it had to be brewed. That took a half hour.My fish fry took another forty minutes. It was a huge piece of fish, over cooked and kinda hard.It came with fres, potato salad and slaw. They had two desserts listed on the menu, and I was looking forward to this part of the dining experience. When the waiter came around he informed us that they ran out.Just an awful way to end the very slow evening.

We had such a great experience here last night! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Charlie, who kindly helped us find our group. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made the whole night feel easy and enjoyable. Kathy was our waitress and she was fantastic--funny, attentive, and completely unfazed by how busy things were. The food absolutely delivered. The B.O.B. Beast Burger and the buffalo blue wings were some of the best we've had in Buffalo. We're already looking forward to coming back to check out the beer garden. 100/10--highly recommend!

Cool historic space in Lovejoy. I've heard about this spot and was finally able to stop in. First of all the front bar is original and has been preserved and restored but still feels unique and vintage. Behind that is indoor seating for dining and it's gorgeous! I love that this spot is inside of a house within a neighborhood. It feels so different yet perfectly placed within the area. They also have a huge outdoor patio with a great mural and spot for music in warmer weather. The staff here was so welcoming and helpful with menu questions. Lots of good drink options. The food also looked good. Will have to come back to try it sometime.

Reminiscing of my visit here for Mother's Day. We had an excellent time! The back patio was awesome. Really cool sports mural. Stage for a live band. And the inside was even better! Beautiful and clean. Very unsuspecting. Service was great And most importantly, the beer was incredible. Very rare I take multiple beers home after tasting.

There were several dishes we couldn't even finish. Our ribeye was well done (tragic) when we ordered med rare. The server spilled things several times on the table which he was very apologetic for but still.... Nothing was a wow which doesn't match the prices here, not to mention that you get solicited for cash from the people outside the door on the way out which makes it even less worth the drive. Kind of a miss.

I ended up playing several funny rounds of ad-libs with strangers which totally made the evening. I felt welcomed and comfortable, like I immediately was one of the regulars even my first time there. The beer is great and they have a ton of options including stuff on tap and in cans. Look for the tv on the wall for the list of current beers on tap; it's on the far left side of the bar just above the large front windows. My curly fries and chicken strips were perfection - think of the best possible version of those things and that's what I got here. This came with sides of BBQ sauce, blue cheese dip, and ketchup. I greatly enjoyed my pumpkin ale and would happily drink this again. I appreciate that there are so many vegan options on the menu (not my thing but it's nice to have a place to bring vegan friends!). A surprising very cool thing was the restroom. There is great art all over the walls! Check it out even if you don't need to, you won't regret it. I sat at the bar; there is another room with tables and a pool table and I think I spotted some hidden booths in the back. There are also a few outdoor tables out front. Lighting is pretty dim so if you're going to read a book, choose your seat strategically. General volume is on the louder side. Parking is on the street. I saw that they do trivia on Monday nights; there are a ton of flyers for upcoming events in the front window. Overall this was a very easy place to give five stars to.

The craziest part about it is that Winfield's Pub is literally just 10 minutes from my House. A conveniently small place that packs big Bold Flavors. A place that if you want to enjoy, you'd have to park in front of it or park on the Side Streets of the neighborhood across from it and walk over. After trying out their Food at a Stillwater Farm Dinner consisting or Birria Tacos and Sausage stuffed Chicken Breast. To me that was a nice welcoming Card telling me to come right away instead of wasting more time ignoring the Place. While their son Thomas is at the Bar making Cocktails of the highest Quality with some of the most unique names that I've ever heard. My 1st visit was enjoying a Birthday Dinner with loved ones in the center of the Restaurant. While going over the menu, I had my 1st Cocktail called The Ghostwriter in a tall cylindrical glass that had Gin, Herbal Liqueur, Coconut, Lime, Lemongrass Syrup & Dill. Sweet and Herbaceous. Next up was some Fresh made Focaccia Bread studded with Rosemary, Garlic, Tomatoes and Zucchini that was so Warm and Flavorful like it just came right out the Oven. You know I like to drink Beer and cook with it too, I couldn't help but get myself a cup of their Beer Cheese soup with Bratwurst and Housemade Croutons. Every single Spoonful I took was Rich with a hint of Spicy heat at the end. Next up was a plate off Duck Confit Poutine with Goat Cheese (I opted for that instead of Cheese Curds). You might look at it and see a big globby mess but what I saw and what I ate was pure Gluttonous Heaven. French Fries, bits of Rich and Tender Duck Meat and mild and Tangy Cheese which equaled a comforting Bite. Next was another Cocktail I got called the Dirty Harry (named after one of Clint Eastwood's best-known roles). Another drink that hit hard consisting of Pineapple, Doctor Bird Rum, Boomsa Herbal Liquor and Banana Shrub Jam. While waiting for my main course, I tried some of Nathan's BBQ Pork Belly Burnt Ends. Who doesn't like tender Pieces of Meat with the outside bring Crispy while the Meat inside just melts away on your Tongue. For our Entrees, everyone enjoyed something different like Nathan and Brianna having Seared Chicken with Vegetables, Mike enjoying a Burger, Rick just getting a few Appetizers, Grandma Carol eating Fish Tacos, Jimmy and Kathy enjoying a Steak. While I got myself Seared Scallops over Sweet Corn Risotto with Tarragon. This looked to me and ate like a Summer Dish, why on earth was it on the Menu during close to Fall/Winter, I don't know. But I'll say this, I loved every bite, you get Sweetness from both the Seafood and the Corn with the Tarragon at the end giving it a light hit of Licorice. Thomas kindly gave me a Complimentary Drink while waiting for Dessert called the Legislation #2. It had Rye Whiskey, Dry Vermouth, Orange Cognac and Acidic Phosphate. While it had all those Ingredients, it was a simple looking Drink with a Jurassic sized Ice Cube in it. But I will say this, this drink packed one heck of a Potent Punch. To finish off the Meal, I got myself a big slice of Guinness Chocolate Cake. One of my favorite Beers has been Transformed into a Dessert. It had such a Deep chocolate Flavor with richness from the frosting packed in between each layer. I walked over and personally thank Tab and his Crew for the great Food that night. The only issue we had was waiting to get our Checks, but other than that everything went great. Another one to cross off my list, another restaurant that I will no longer Ignore. Winfield's better be ready for some more Visits from me in the Future. !!!

Happened on this place by accident on a Sunday drive. It is a stunning place. Very pretty,…read moretastefully decorated. Looks like a family fun Brewery. They had a board game wall, 2 air Hockey tables. An area with local items for sale. Looks like they hold farmers markets, and events in the weekend. The place was very elegantly decorated, like it was professionally done. But for a 5 Generation family, I would have liked to have seen their Ancestors, history, maybe some family heirlooms as decorations, farm equipment, etc... They had an upstairs, not sure what that was about tho. When we walked in, we saw a sign that said seat yourself, so we did. Then we noticed we could order by Q card, so we did. No hostess. The menu was really small, small plates, appetizers, cookies and milk was the dessert. It was an odd menu. There were a fair amount of kids. Which was nice. It really is set up to be 100% Family First.. It was very large, lots of space for kids to play inside and outside, safely, while adults enjoy their time. Lots of space between tables. So still good for intimate settings too. Really well thought out space planning. I ordered Burnt ends with Mac N Cheese, in a Habanero jelly. It was the only spicy item on the menu. My BF ordered Chicken Fingers, because they didn't have a burger, hot dog, steak, i wondered if upstairs was where they served full meals instead of small plates. Worth checking on before you go. I didn't notice the upstairs until we had already ordered. The menu was lacking. I think it would have been nice if they had a hostess to greet newcomers, and explain the run down, and show them how it works. If there was an area for full dining we would have liked to have known. We also would have been able to see a menu before seating. After ordering, I left my BF seated and went to see what types of local items they had for sale. I ended up buying a jar of homemade Maple cream, from the owners parents. They were a really sweet couple. They were the ones who had told us they had been there for 5 Generations. Being a history buff, I got excited and said I bet you have some great stories. I seemed to have embarrassed him, a bit, because he smiled and changed the subject. ‍ A server came out, and informed me, they were out of burnt ends, with the Habanero Jelly. They asked if they could put pulled pork, with Bbq sauce on top of the MAC N Cheese. I agreed, but was actually super disappointed. It was the only item on the menu that had some kick to it. I just didn't see a reason to look at the menu again, since it was so small. I wish we had just left, because my BF didn't like the menu. I was not getting what I wanted. Obviously, this was not a place for us. The chicken fingers were good, they were big, coated well, tasted like they may have added a touch of cornmeal. But they were still just chicken fingers. They do offer a variety of different sauces on the side. The Mac N cheese was much better than expected. The cheese was white and creamy. The pulled pork was basic sauce, it was cooked perfectly, and had some big pieces in there, and wasn't just stringy. Their ordering system is basically contactless ordering. The new way of the world. Ordering from your phone. Which is something I actually like. But a hostess is still needed. Whoever set this system up, did a terrible job uploading the menu. I wanted a drink with Vodka. The only option was"Vodka drink" when I pushed it, it said I needed to go to the bar. They had a couple of cocktails premade, but all with whiskey and gin. When I asked the female Bartender if they can make a Martini. She looked up at some guy, and waited for him to respond. But I quickly jumped in. Before he could say anything. I just asked if she could make one of their signature cocktails they have on the menu. But swap out, the gin for Vodka. I just wanted to keep this moving forward. They said no problem, and were very nice about it. Then I asked them how to order it at the table. They told me to order the gin drink I want, and they will remember to swap it out for me. I was impressed they got that right. For such a vast space, with high ceilings, the acoustics were amazing. It wasn't loud at all. Even the kids seemed to play quietly. When I finally sat down. I saw my BF looked miserable. My own nervous system had been feeling off too, and was a bit unsure. But everyone was super friendly. It just felt like we had an odd amount of super polite attention, that others were not getting. When I took a hard look around, I realized everyone there were dressed similarly, were polite, composed, quiet, having fun, and smiling. They looked like they all came straight from the same church. That's when it hit me, this is a community place with deep roots. They probably don't get many different types of people here. I live in a rural area too, but we are a diverse group of color, culture, and art. It took me a bit off guard.

Farmcraft is such a nice space! There's a variety of seating options inside and outdoors, and their…read moremenu has a good variety of drinks (beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails) focusing on NY made beverages. They also have 1 beer on the menu that they make. Food menu had a good variety of options too and everything was reasonably priced. I ordered the Mac n cheese and enjoyed it! They also have clean bathrooms and host events regularly. This is a drive, but I'd be happy to make the trip again.
