Stopped in with my Aunt who was visiting from Nebraska for lunch. I ordered the chicken wings and they were delicious ...very good. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. When in downtown Buffalo I would definitely go back...great job with the wings!!!

First time I've eaten here even though I occasionally go to the arena for events in the evening. After visiting Explore & More children's museum downtown on a Friday we (six adults and one almost two year-old) went here for lunch. Luckily they were open (they're closed for lunch on Monday- Wednesday). Everything was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because sometimes brewery restaurants don't have the best food. Everyone loved what they had. The pictures describe them but a couple of the standouts were the stinger sub I had with fries included and the Caprese BLT.

First things first - I forgot how delicious the house dressing is. Oh my gosh - so good. I'd eat cardboard if it was dressed with that tangy, garlicky dressing! I had some time to myself recently and I found a seat at the bar upstairs, amongst 100 or so of my new friends. I ordered a flight of five including 8 Days a Week, Brown Ale, Fall Harvest, Caramel Cookie Stout, and Irish Cream Ale. For food, island tacos and brisket tacos. With one taco order, crispy fries. The other, that zingy dressed salad. One of my brisket tacos was half fat and the server got me a fresh, overstuffed replacement. She earned a $10 tip for that. After dinner, I purchased 4 crowlers at the main floor bar-two of the caramel cookie stout and two of the Irish Cream Ale.

Even before a sabres playoff game we didn't wait too long for a table. We were able to go upstairs to the bar and get some drinks whole we waited for a table. Of course having to stand because it was packed but we still got served. Great beer and great food. Chicken sandwich was outstanding.

Our bartender/server, Izzy was great! She was so nice and also very knowledgeable of the menu. She gave us honest opinions and kept our drinks full. Wife had a grilled chicken with a peeled greens salad. She enjoyed both very much. The lemon garlic aioli that came with the chicken was very good as well. My fish sandwich with the homemade coleslaw was also good. The fish was fried just right. All in all a very nice dining experience. Side note all the beer and liquor is made in house by Southerntier. Pretty cool.

Pumking Imperial Ale: Although I've become less of a beer guy since my college days, I couldn't resist the urge to pick this up. Even though I find them to be real hit or miss, I like to try at least one new pumpkin beer each fall and though it has been a few years, Southern Tier's Pumking is my reigning champ. The artwork on the bottle shows a cool illustration of a pumped-up pumpkin king cackling as he shows off his guns in a sleeveless royal garb with an eye-catching pumpkin orange colored background. My bottle poured a slightly hazy deep copper color. Pumking's aroma is described by Southern Tier as a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, allspice, vanilla, and buttery crust. As Southern Tier likes to say, it's essentially pumpkin pie in a glass! I wouldn't go that far, but in the land of pumpkin beers, it is good enough to be king in my opinion. I detect pumpkin the most in the aftertaste, but it's pleasant and not burning/too spicy. There's also a nice combination of vanilla and cinnamon that help contribute to the illusion of pumpkin pie. It's sweet (for a beer) and not overly bitter with an IBU of 28. Being an imperial ale, it's a bit BOOzy at 8.6%ABV, but the aforementioned flavors mask it well. Move over Jack Skellington, there's another Pumpkin King in town, Pumking is Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Best wings I have had in Buffalo. Really crispy and the sauce is really good. Cooked to perfection. The hype is real for Buffalo hot wings. Parking is not ideal. But the service is good and the waitress was very knowledgeable in all of the beers there and gave good recommendations.

Just stopped in for a beer on a recent evening. Bartender was friendly and offered samples to make our beer decision. Not easy to park near location, walked from parking lot near Marina. Bar area was mostly people drinking and watching baseball. Not noisy, easy to have conversations.

Is a quiet Friday evening in the city, the perfect time to visit Southern Tier? Yes! This place is always busy during bandits/sabres game so it was pretty nice going there when downtown was a little quiet. We were seated immediately and within moments our waitress was there to take our drink and food requests. She was extremely helpful and welcoming during our visit. The misses got the beef on weck, a good sized portion and I was told the beef was "ok" so I'm interpreting that as "average ". The horseradish though was definitely on the mild side but I'm sure that changes each day. The little yelper opted for her go to which was the kids chicken fingers and fries. She gave them two thumbs up, they were a good size and super crispy. I opted for the buf burger. It came and I was questioning how to bite it, but it only appeared that way because of the giant onion ring on it. I was told it's a "smash burger" and couldn't be cooked to temp / I prefer medium ( it was kind of dry for my liking). But definitely wasn't as spicy as I was hoping for based on the description. I can only put this in the average burger category for me. Good meal, attentive staff, but I think once was enough for us.

Cool place a block away from key bank center. We went here before a hockey game and it was packed. Place is huge with two levels and a bunch of TV's and a gigantic tv behind the bar. A good variety of different beers and drinks on the menu and also a lot of appetizers and food on their menu. Employees were all very friendly and the food and drinks were all really good. Gotta hit this place up if you're going to an event at the arena.

We came here for a Beers and Gears event for the Ride for Roswell. Lucky for us, it was also $1 wing night. We each had two beers and some delicious wings. I love that the wings came with fresh carrots and celery, and blue cheese. My beer choices were 8 Days a Week, and Raspberry Shine. Both were tasty and refreshing.

The hostess was a class act, server was great and checked in regularly. The food is good, everything is priced about what I expected except the coffee. They only offer French Pressed coffee for $10 (I was able to have 2.25 cups of coffee). I paid $15 for coffee last time I went so that my friend could have one cup and I had three. Lol I do like the creamer, it was creamy thick, complimented the coffee well. I just couldn't believe I paid that for coffee. Normally, I would only drink 2 cups but drank 3 because I couldn't let it go to waste. Don't judge me, this was for brunch at 11am. Lol I recommend sharing plates. Not because the portion sizes are large or anything but just because everything tastes great, why not sample as much as possible. My friends and I tried a pizza, the AMAZING Mac and Cheese, and another time, I tried the cinnamon roll and eggplant sandwich. The bread was amazing, flavor was good but needed more eggplant. It felt like I was eating more bread than anything hearty inside it. Probably wouldn't order that again next time but it was still good. Their seasoned fries are also very good. The frosting on the cinnamon roll made this treat worth getting, it was a little hard/dry on the outside but I imagine that was just a mistake for that day as maybe it could have came to the table sooner. It was still reallyyyy delicious. I'll be returning again to try some other items but definitely come and bring a date. This is a nice spot for brunch, lunch and dinner, with adult family, friends or a date.

Anyway, I ordered a couple apps and the two meat plate with Chicken & Brisket, Beans, Slaw & the Mac Salad. Y'all, the brisket was moist tender and nicely marbled. After seeing his dinner though, I was kicking myself for not ordering food. Recently, I had the opportunity to rectify that and I'm glad I did! Around 5:30pm on a Thursday, I pulled into the huge parking lot (which looking at my first review, is now paved!) and found a spot pretty close to the main entrance. Walking in, there's a host stand straight ahead with a brewery to the right and the dining room to the left. I took a moment to wander around and came away impressed with how large The Ridge West Seneca is. Afterward, I found most of my group had been seated at a both right near the entrance. Cups and glass bottles of water were spread out and menus were laid in front of us. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to order but looking over the menu, The Ridge has a great variety of food. Our waitress was great with our group of five, one being a (almost) two-year-old. Our waitress was friendly, personable, did a great job checking on us throughout the evening, I know I was at ease throughout the evening. After a few minutes looking at the menu, we all placed our orders and then sat back and caught up. As I mentioned earlier, it's very spacious inside with music playing over the speakers, some TVs playing sports, and plenty of people enjoying the evening. I've seen The Ridge advertise their outdoor patio and seeing it in person, it looked awesome! The turnaround time from ordering to our dinners arriving was very reasonable, what I would expect for a group our size. For dinner, I ordered their Rustler Burger (8 oz. burger topped with cheddar cheese, a couple strips of bacon, BBQ sauce, crispy onion strings, fried jalapenos, and siracha aioli between a toasted brioche bun), cooked "medium", with a side of fries and their roasted red pepper fry sauce. The burger was excellent!! A hearty patty, cooked to a perfect "medium", topped with nice, big, crispy pieces of bacon, nicely melted cheddar cheese and plenty of crispy onion strings and fried jalapenos on both the top and bottom! The siracha aioli was creamy with a nice spicy, slightly sweet flavor. The fries were cooked perfectly - not soft but not crunchy, perfectly crispy and nicely seasoned. The roasted red pepper fry sauce had a thick texture and great, almost smoky flavor. They have several other fry sauces to pick from so I'll switch it up the next time I come. The portion sizes here are excellent - I've been to other restaurants where their side of fries is... weak, but The Ridge West Seneca, between the generous amount of fries and the big burger, I was far from disappointed! For the price, between the excellent quality and great portions, I thought the price was in-line, very reasonable! I, and the group I was with, had a great experience at The Ridge West Seneca! Friendly staff, great food (both quality and portions), and a cool atmosphere.
